The next day, they decided to go and stay at one of Chase's private villas outside the city. The beautiful luxurious place was located near the sea and it was breathtaking at first sight.

Shay and Jason went ahead of them to check out the place while Sylvia and Chase decided to walk around the beach for a while hand in hand.

She stopped walking and took off her sandals and then walked near the edge of the beach where the water rushed up to the shore and touched her feet.

"Hmm, this is so relaxing," Sylvia said with her eyes closed.

Chase glanced at her and then smiled.

It was nearly dark by the time they got back to the city. Chase wanted to drop her off at home so they stopped by Subway and bought subs for Sylvia's dinner as she wanted it in the first place before they continue to drive to her apartment. He parked the car out front and they both went inside, her hand clasped around him while his other hand was carrying her subway pack. "Syl!" Her steps froze midway when the familiar voice rang inside the lobby. She looked up and saw her small sister waiting in the lounge area and then she stood up and started to walk towards them. Her face lights up when she saw him walk into the room and she stood up and greets him with a hug. "Well, how was it?" She asked him with a smile referring to the weekend getaway. "It was great, we had a lot of fun but too bad we had to come back tonight because I have a business meeting tomorrow morning with Mr. Takahashi." They sat down on the couch and his mother shifted closer to his side and starts playing with his hair. "Did you see Grandpa's roses in

Sylvia was not surprised when she went to the office the next day and found plenty of work waiting for her. Sometimes working as a personal assistant could be very tiring while sometimes it could be enjoyable too. If only their weekend had lasted for a little longer but sadly, work is still work. She sat down at her desk and started working straight away, then she made a few calls to their private clients and set up meetings for Jason. After his schedule is ready and completed, then she started on her work. Her concentration was suddenly cut off when her phone started ringing. She was going to ignore it but she thought it could be Sonya or someone else from

Sylvia was distracted when she got back to the office. Her mind kept replaying every word that Brooke had said to her today and there was a heavy feeling tugging at her heart. She was staring blankly at the folders in front of her and she didn't even notice Chase coming into her office. "Syl!" Chase repeated one more time while flicking his fingers in her face and she finally snapped out of her daze. She blinked her eyes repeatedly and then looked up at him. Chase looked at her with concern and gently placed his hand under her chin. "You okay? What were you thinking about?" Sylvia plastered

The next morning, Chase sat down at the dining table to have his breakfast while also opening his laptop so he can check the company stocks. Since they owned a few hotels, restaurants, and resorts all over the country, each company stock is equally divided between him and his brother. He usually likes to keep track of his share which is why he decided to check again this morning. But to his surprise, one hotel stocks hasn't been added to his half yet. The hotel belongs to his mother and even though they had already held a meeting and his mother had signed the contract, he was confused why she didn't give his share of stocks to him yet. As if right on time, his mother entered the room and joined him at the table. Chase just quietly stared at her in confusion while she sat down and started making her coffee. When she finally noticed that Chase was looking at her for a long time, her face broke into a grin and she raised her brows at him. "What? Is there something on my face?" Chas

My heart raced as I watched my video from the frat party trend across social media platforms. It was as if people couldn't get enough of it, sharing it from one corner of the internet to another. And with each share, a flood of comments and feedback poured in, all directed at me.I had worked so hard to maintain my "perfect" reputation. People saw me as a walking embodiment of flawlessness, and I had meticulously crafted that image. But now, this video threatened to expose the cracks in my carefully constructed facade. It made me feel vulnerable and exposed to the judgment of others, and it terrified me.

It was already 9:00 p.m., and I hurriedly surveyed myself in the mirror, making sure every detail of my outfit was just right.I had opted for a sleek black dress that hugged my curves in all the right places. Its off-the-shoulder design added a touch of sophistication, while the knee-length skirt showcased a playful edge. I paired it with strappy heels that elongated my legs and completed the look with a statement necklace and a bold red lip. I couldn't help but feel confident in this ensemble.Beatrice and Kayleen burst into my room with equally limited excitement for tonight's mission or whatever they wanted to call it.
