The luau venue was just behind the hotel on the beach. The sky was dark and the music was very loud even from afar as we walked towards the party. As we got closer, I got so excited and nervous at the same time for the party. I held Aminu's hand tighter as we entered the party area.

The party had already gone into full swing, there were people everywhere, eating, drinking, socialising, dancing and all. I didn't know where to even start with the party. The party arena had a wooden theme to it with a wooden entrance where we were given those flower necklaces and a flower crown for me.
