The thing about locking yourself inside of something is, you need to be sure someone couldn’t or wouldn’t unlock it. Azrin was confident Lex knew the Brunet would show up to intervene sooner or later. He was also certain Lex didn’t think the omega had the ability or resources to unlock the damn cellar door himself. Unluckily for the young alpha, Azrin had rallied Marina to his cause.

The omega waited impatiently, pacing back and forth, as the clan alpha used her blood to undo the intricate seal. Being the curious restless creature that he was, Azrin began to ask questions. “Why have such a multifaceted seal on the cellar of a house that’s hardly used?”

“Azrin dear, Lexus had every intention of riding out his first rut unattended. We made every effort to make sure he would be contained,” The matriarch gave him a flat look.

“Ok, I understand that. But that’s an external seal, He’s unable to effect it once inside,” Azrin redirected, resisting the urge to roll his eyes.
