Elle’s POV

The first stage of the birthday celebration plans was the party at Jimmy’s house. Tara and Elle arrived what Tara called ‘fashionably late.’ Everyone was already there, but they were not yet impatiently waiting for her.

His parent’s house, decorated with balloons and streamers, had a table full of different snacks against one wall. There was a bowl of punch and an icebox.

She and Tara headed for the icebox first. They each grabbed a wine cooler; everyone expected alcohol. But as she lifted the bottle from the cooler, a flashback of last week caused her to gasp.

She had not planned on driving home, as she and Tara partied at Billy’s house. Tara was the night’s designated driver, so she wasn’t paying attention to the amount Tara drank. But when it was time to leave, Tara was so drunk she had double vision.

Elle had no choice but to drive for her. Once at Elle’s house, they could call her mom and tell her that Tara was sleeping the night there. It was hard enough to see through the pounding rain, but they had a curfew to be home by.

As Elle turned a corner, another car came out of nowhere. Elle went off the road. But the other car had kept going. She and Tara sat there crying in each other’s arms until they could gather the courage to call Elle’s mom.

Elle’s focus returned to the current situation as Jason, one of Jimmy’s best friends and football buddies, passed by. She grabbed his arm. He stopped, looking between her and Tara. “Hey, Birthday girl! Happy birthday!” He greeted her.

Elle smiled and curtsied as Tara giggled. “Have you seen Jimmy? I haven’t seen him all day.”

“He is here. He spent all day setting up for you. Skipped school to do it!”

“Jason,” Chad called from across the room.

Chad was another one of the football team members. Jason gave her an apologetic smile before running over to him.

“He is so hot!” Tara whispered. “What I wouldn’t do to play 7 minutes in heaven with him!”

Elle laughed. “I don’t think his girlfriend would like that very much.” Tara groaned and used her entire body to display her thoughts on that.

“She isn’t his girlfriend. Besides, I am going to find Sam. She said she wanted to talk to me about something. You go find Jimmy!” Tara said before walking away.

Elle made a sour face. She didn’t feel like wandering this party alone. But Tara was right; she had to find Jimmy. She began roaming aimlessly. It wasn’t her first time in this house, so she didn’t have to think about the layout as she went.

Her parent’s strange behavior was at the forefront of her mind as she put her hand against Jimmy’s bedroom door. She was still confused about their behavior, and their worry stressed her out. She just wished she knew what was going on.

“No. I don’t want to. Get off me!” She heard a muffled female voice state within the room.

She shoved the door open. No girl was going to be unsafe at her party. Plus, this was her boyfriend’s room. She would be the only one losing their virginity here. Cam, the football captain, stood up quickly from the bed. He was shirtless, and his pants were below his knees.

“Uggh! I don’t want to see that. I am blinded for life!” Elle exclaimed as the girl laying on the bed gave her a thankful look.

Cam scowled at her. “I don’t interrupt you and Jimmy when you are in here.”

“I am not in here saying ‘no.’” Elle retorted. As the girl got up and started fixing her clothing, Elle recognized her as Samantha. “Get out!”

Cam opened his mouth to argue. But Jimmy spoke up behind her first. “The lady said to get out.”

Cam grumbled to himself as he pulled his pants up and grabbed his shirt before storming out of the bedroom. Samantha smiled widely.

“You saved me!”

Elle and Jimmy both laughed. Elle told her, “If you stopped putting yourself in these situations with assholes like that, you wouldn’t need as much saving.”

Samantha blushed. “I just love Cam.” She whispered.

Elle nodded. “I understand. I just hate when guys try to force themselves on us. Uggh!”

Jimmy wrapped an arm around Elle. “I was looking for you.” He whispered into her ear heatedly, and her heart skipped a beat. She paused to lick her lips idly. It reminded her it was time to put on more chapstick.

“Tara is out there looking for you, Elle told her as she moved to his bedroom mirror. She applied her chapstick using her reflection.

“Thank you,” Samantha said before running out of the bedroom.

After shutting the door, Jimmy came up behind Elle and wrapped his big strong arms around her. “You look so beautiful.” He groaned into the back of her neck. “And your hair smells like lilacs.”

Elle glanced down at the simple silky sundress Tara had picked out for her.

“This old thing?” She dismissed, continuing to pretend to study herself in the mirror. “And it isn’t nice to tell a girl that she smells.” She teased cheerfully.

Jimmy spun her around to face him. He was so close she had to lean back over the table the mirror was on. Being so close to him was exhilarating. He smelled fantastic too. He held her tight and pressed his lips against hers.

“Oh, Jimmy!” She giggled and swatted his arm. “I have not had enough to drink for this.”

He groaned but let her go gently. “Well, then shall we get you another?”

She laughed and sat on the side of his bed, patting it. “I haven’t seen you all day! Come talk to me.”

He came over and flopped down next to her. Pretending to fall, he pulled her into a lying position. She laughed before resting her head on his shoulder. She looked up at him while he smiled down at her.

“Happy birthday, my little fashionista!” He whispered and kissed her forehead.

She pushed herself up on her elbows to look at him. “It’s been such a weird birthday; I don't get it.”

He gently pressed his lips against hers and wrapped his arms around her protectively. “Well, you're with me now. I won’t let anything happen to you.” He promised before their lips met again.

His words sent little tingles of pleasure through her, and she knew she wouldn’t be able to withstand his advances much longer. Elle welcomed his soft, gentle kiss this time. It reassured and comforted her.

His fingers slipped through the hair on the back of her neck and pulled her mouth closer to his. His tongue explored her mouth passionately as she teased him with her tongue. She quickly grew dizzy with desire.

“Oh, God! Elle, I want you. Would you accept me as your birthday present?” He asked, his voice heavy with desire.

She pulled back from him and explored the heated depths of his eyes. She felt her emotions for him storming throughout her. If they were going to live together in New York, it would happen eventually. Why not on her 18th birthday? Most of her friends had already done it.

“Yes!” She whispered, and he groaned.

He pushed her gently on her back and kissed her deeply. His hands massaged her breasts as she arched into him, returning his kiss. Her whole body ached for him, and his proximity made her head hazy with lust.

Suddenly the bedroom door opened. Jimmy groaned loudly. They turned to see Tara at the door.“Tara! What do you think you're doing?” Jimmy quipped, frustrated.

“There’s a guy….” Before Tara could finish her sentence, a giant man strode determinedly into the room. He moved quickly and deliberately. Tara informed, “looking for Elle. You know you don’t have to push me around.” She complained to him.

The psychotic man growled at her like some animal. What the freak looked like, the dark bedroom obscured. But she could tell that she didn't know him.

He was big and muscular. His violent intrusion into her intimately private moment with Jimmy made it hard to breathe. He was terrifying.

“What the fuck are you doing in my house?” Jimmy spat at him, standing from the bed.

The man didn’t hesitate. His open hand found Jimmy’s throat, and Jimmy dropped on the floor, grabbing at it. His breath was quick and ragged, as if he was having trouble breathing.

“Who are you? What do you want?” Elle’s voice was full of panic as she backed up against the furthest wall from the belligerent degenerate. He grunted without speaking.

She struggled to move out of his reach. “Let me go!” She demanded desperately after he picked her up. The barbarian threw her over his shoulder as if she were a bag of potatoes. She kicked and squirmed but could not get out of his grasp.

He carried her effortlessly down the stairs and into the sunlight outside. The partiers gathered without saying or doing anything to help. Why wouldn’t anyone help her?

She struggled desperately. She could not get out of his hold no matter what she did. “Please!” She exclaimed.

He didn’t seem to hear her. She hadn’t been able to see much of him in the bedroom. Now she noticed he was wearing a tuxedo. He coolly pressed a button on his key once with his empty hand. Her eyes widened, and she struggled despairingly when she heard the clicking of a car.

“Wait! You can’t take me away from here! My friends will call the police.” She pleaded fearfully. But no one moved to even agree with her. “Come on!” She spoke in a frantic tone as her pitch unintentionally rose.

No one was going to help. There was no hope. Instead, she heard people in the crowd whispering. “That's that CEO.” “What is he doing here?” “He is a billionaire, isn't he?” “What does he want with Elle?”

He dropped her into the passenger seat of his car. She could smell the expensive leather of the Alpha Romeo 4C spider. She tried to open her door as he rounded the car. But he must have turned on the safety locks.

As he got into the driver’s seat, Jimmy and Tara came rushing out of the front door, nearly pushing each other over. She put a hand on the glass as she watched them slip away out of her life, and a sob tore through her throat.
