Angel’s POV

He didn’t even raise his eyebrows at my words.

“Yes, I’m a jerk. Angel, don’t be so mad over a jerk. It’s a waste of time,” he said calmly as he uncuffed me.

I hated the calm and confident look on his face, so I jumped up to give him a punch on his face.

Angel’s POVI had never seen Nicholas or Francis again ever since the day my ankle was broken. Only Elsa visited me every day to see how I was doing.“Nicholas said that as long as you began to take training, he would remove all the guards outside your room immediately,” Elsa told me as she removed the bandage on my broken leg.I tried to flex my leg. It still hurt, but it felt much better thanks to her gift in medicine.“Come on. You are a good warrior, aren’t you? You shouldn’t just stay here every day,” Elsa elbowed me and said.I nodded. Of course, I wanted to take training. I hadn’t trained for days and my speed had slowed down. Otherwise, the guards wouldn’t get a chance to hurt my legs.“You may not know it, but the warriors in this pack are divided into different ranks according to their fighting abilities. You should start with the lowest rank for a while before you can get

Angel’s POVI gritted my teeth and clenched my fists in anger, but I soon calmed down. Then I looked up at the young face with pity while still sitting under the tree. She didn’t know what a big trouble she was in.I raised my hand in front of her and asked, “Did you throw it at me?” My voice didn’t betray any emotions.“No! The bottle just slipped out of my hands and flew to you. I already apologized. You’re the future Luna and you won’t take it to heart, right?” The red-haired girl asked with a fake smile. The next second, I raised the bottle in front of her eyes and squashed it with one hand while still maintaining a smile.Squashing a metal bottle was not something to brag about, but I did it effortlessly and within 0.1 second. The warriors around were all stunned. I bet no one saw clearly what just happened. The red-haired girl also took on a look of fear and remorse, but it was

Angel’s POVAfter leaving the training ground, I walked in the street alone and aimlessly. No one followed me possibly because they knew I couldn’t run far.The walk didn’t take away my stress and low mood. I noticed a mountain ahead and began to climb the mountain.I knew my leg needed a rest, but I longed for a place where I couldn’t be found, a place isolated from the whole pack. Two hours later, I was on the top of a mountain, lying on the ground. The smell of the grass and mud tranquilized my mind, so I fell asleep soon. Whenever I was in low spirits, I would get close to nature. I believed nature had a lot to offer.Wait, a drop of water fell on the tip of my nose. What was it?Soon, more waterdrops could be felt on my eyelids and cheeks.I opened my eyes.Of course, it was raining. It was getting heavier in the blink of an eye.I jumped up and began to run. Angel’s POVI had thought of the question of why he wouldn’t reveal his face to me, and I worked out three assumptions.Yes, if he forced me to stay here and become his mate, I would try every possible way to escape. But he didn’t even reveal his face to me, which made me super curious. I was determined to at least see his face before deciding whether I should leave or not. Now, a perfect chance to verify the three assumptions presented itself to me.I would figure it out this day!I walked to him so that I could see him more clearly. This way, I could tell whether he lied. His whole body and face could not be seen in the darkness, except for his eyes.I stared at his eyes fixedly because I could only learn more about him from his eyes, but he seemed to be good at concealing his thoughts and emotions. I promise…”Of course, she could.I grasped her hand and put it on my face before she finished her words. She

Francis’ POVIt was not surprising that Angel asked me to take it. She was still mad at me, and I better answer the question.“Well, it’s a … long story. She didn’t know that we were mates, but she had a feeling for me. And it just happened. We become lovers. Actually, my pack rule forbids her to know my true identity and my gift before the ceremony, but we love each other and it’s difficult to keep a secret from each other. We had many misunderstandings, but nothing beats love,” I said and looked at Angel, but she averted her gaze and didn’t want to face me.

I was afraid that Erika might notice something was wrong, so I changed to another topic quickly. At that time, I didn't know what I was talking about at all.Now I thought about it, I could’ve just told her that Francis was good and everything was good, instead, I told her a whole love story that was completely made up.What should I do now?Erika and Derek were walking toward me hand in hand. Erika waved her hands at me with a smile.I also forced a smile and waved my hand at her.At the same time, I whispered to Francis’ ears. “Francis, hold me tight.”“What?” He looked at me in shock.I shot him a glance and squeezed him on his waist.“OK, OK.” He pulled away my hand from his waist and wrapped his arm around me.

They were busy, but all of them seemed very happy.I walked amid them and seemed like the only one with a sad face.Fine, Derek must have prepared a big surprise for Erika. Of course, he didn’t want it to be ruined. It was not a tall order. It just…For these days, I had been suppressing my emotions. Just as I thought I could get some help, I was told I had to pretend everything was fine. It was like my emotion didn’t matter at all.And I was being rude and reckless again. If Francis had been here with me at this moment, he would’ve blamed me for doing what Luna shouldn’t do.Maybe I was just not suitable to be Luna.At the pack house of the Blood Moon Pack.I waited downstairs.Erika walked downstairs.
