Edward had returned to the private room.
He looked around the room for his woman but could not find her anywhere, so he went up to Cindy who seemed to be sitting all alone.
Rose having to answer a call had excused herself to a corner in the private room, leaving Cindy all alone at their table. Even though they were both best friends to Daisy Louis, they both weren't best friends but they went along pretty well.
“Hey Cindy,” Edward called her as he got to her.
Cindy turned to him and for a second, she wondered why the Lady wanted her to seduce him. Anyways, she flashed him a smile. “Hey”
“Where is Daisy?” he asked, and Cindy furrowed her brows before saying, “I think she went to the lounge at the left, down the corridor.”
"Oh thank you..." He said and Cindy smiled sweetly at him once more.
She had paid someone to drug him and she wondered if the person had successfully done that.
"I'll have to confirm," she muttered.
Edward stepped out of the room with his brows furrowed and his teeth clenched.
He was having a talk with an American artiste Dave introduced him to in another private room on the next floor. They were planning on a collaboration and in the midst of the talk he suddenly started to feel uncomfortable. He did not understand the reason for the sudden heat spreading through him, and even though the air conditioner was on, he still felt hot all over. And when he started to feel giddy and aroused, he knew he needed to look for his beloved woman.
He didn’t mean to leave his girlfriend all by herself. He was only trying to be more than the man she would ever want. Even he knows Daisy is now the biggest reason why he wants to make it to the top as an artist. That way, Daisy will never ever have to leave him for someone better. He can't bear to part with her now.
He was totally in love.
With his brows furrowed tightly, under the dim lights his handsome face appeared flushed as he tried so hard to control his growing burning desire, which looked like it would soon get under control.
Ha no! He needed to get Daisy.
He blamed the too much wine he had to take today. He had met a lot of people and just had to drink up countless times in respect for them.
Edward took long strides down the corridor and turned left. He stopped in front of the first lounge and knocked gently. Soon, the door opened, and a wild-looking man appeared from behind the door.
Seeing that, Edward’s eyes widened in shock, and he stepped backward.
After a while, he regained his senses. “I guess I got the wrong room. Sorry for disturbing you," he apologised.
The man nodded and was just about to step back in when something flashed in his mind.
“Wait,” Edward gasped, with a flustered expression, and the guy paused. But realizing how far his thoughts had gone, he shook his head.
“Sorry, never mind," he said and stepped back again, and without saying a word, he slammed the door shut.
Edward tapped his head lightly with a huff, silently scolding himself for ever thinking Diasy was in that room.
Ha! The wine was making him unreasonable.
He was just about to check the next lounge when it occurred to him that he could just call her to confirm which lounge she was in.
'Why didn’t I even call her at first?' He could not help but wonder.
He brought out his phone from his jeans pocket and was about to dial her line when he noticed a text message from her about an hour ago. His brows knitted as he read the message.
“I’m so sorry for leaving just like that babe. I got so drunk Rose had to take me home and I only just got a little sober. Baby, pardon me, but I will make it up to you tomorrow. Thanks for today.
I love you.”
Edward stared in disbelief as he read the text, finding it difficult to believe Daisy had sent that.
Daisy would never do this, no matter what. She would have at least called. But then huffed.
‘If she didn’t send this, then who did?’
He dialled her line but it went unanswered. Then realising it's a few minutes to 11 pm already, he sighed.
‘She definitely has gone to bed,’ he thought.
Suddenly, he felt his shaft harden in his pants and his eyes widened. Sweat broke out of his forehead. Panicking, he decided to leave immediately before he did something he would regret for the rest of his life. He would go home and take a cold shower, and that would do.
He brought out his phone to call his cousin, Chris, and inform him about the situation. Even still, he wondered why his body was suddenly reacting that way.
In a dark corner was a dark figure, her gaze fixated on the phone in her hand. Her expression was stone-cold and murderous and at that moment, she just wanted to kill Daisy.
She had sent that text to Edward which he had just read.
She had managed to get Daisy’s phone with her own means as everything happening on that floor could not pass her nose.
She is Daisy’s arch-enemy.
Things had not gone as planned.
Daisy did not end up in the first room by the left with the gigolo. She had instead ended up in the bed of the youngest and richest business tycoon in Australia, getting this cold figure upset. She wondered why he didn’t kick her out when she got the wrong room; instead, they’d been in there for more than an hour. She even had to do a series of questions and personal checking before she finally believed Wesley Maxwell was the one in that room.
Her teeth gritted in anger, and hatred blazed in her eyes.
"Bitch!" she seethed.
The plan is to ruin Daisy’s reputation with that gigolo, but doing that now would be messing with someone they should never even look in the eye.
Her grip on the phone in her hand tightened, nearly crutching it. She breathed out heavily, trying to calm the anger rising in her chest.
So what if it didn’t go as planned? Daisy is still being fucked by a total stranger, isn’t it?
Edward has to know this!
No. He has to see this.
She dipped her hand in her purse and took out her own phone. Then she dialled a number.
“Go down to the front floor desk and get the swipe card of room 49. I already gave the manager some money.” She ended the call after that.
She wanted to see if she could get someone to stealthily enter the lounge to get a picture of Daisy naked in the arms of a stranger and get it sent to Edward.
If it was the gigolo she had personally arranged, then she would have gotten pictures and videos of the incident trend on every social media and entertainment network. It would have been a disaster, cheating with her boyfriend right on the night of her anniversary.
Cindy had her eyes glued to the door Edward had walked out from ten minutes ago, and she hadn’t taken her eyes off ever since. She needed to give him time to catch Daisy in the act before going after him. She knew Edward loved Daisy so much, and that would definitely break him. Then, when he is at his lowest, it would be easier to succeed in seducing him. 'But why do I have to seduce and sleep with Edward? What if something goes wrong or I get caught?' she wondered, after all, she is ignorant of what the Lady from the Coasters wants to do with her seducing Edward and sleeping with him. Not like she does not want to. Infact, Cindy had become so blinded by her bitterness and hatred for her friend that she could do anything just to hurt Daisy, especially now that she gets to receive some rewards. Besides, Edward is quite handsome and sexy. He was quite a great catch so there’s nothing to lose. ‘Daisy is being fucked by some gigolo right now,' she thought and let out a sinister smil
For a moment there, Edward was in a daze. To say he was shocked is an understatement. For a moment there, Edward was in a daze. To say he was shocked is an understatement. 'Cindy? Trying to pleasure him? Why? Is she, not Daisy’s best friend?' He suddenly snapped back and slapped her hands off. “What are you doing??” he yelled angrily, and something went off in her mind. 'Is he not extremely hard right now? He could still get angry and slap my hand off.' Cindy looked down at her right hand, which she suddenly had to keep to herself but then, she knew she could not give up just yet. She had shown her true colours anyway, so what’s the point of pretending to act innocent and sorry? “Look, Edward, I just want to help you. The drug used on you is very effective, and the consequences would be grievous if you don’t relieve yourself. Daisy would never know a thing. Isn’t it just tonight?” “Were you the one that drugged me?” Edward suddenly asked as he cast a sharp murderous gaze at her t
Edward felt his heart clenching every second. It was as painful as death. “No…,” he shook his head in shock as more tears strayed out of his eyes. For a moment, he forgot about the pain he was feeling down there cause it was nothing compared to the pain he was feeling in his heart. How is this even possible? The room was dark, but the faint moonlight streaming through the window showed every bit of her face. The same sexy look he had deluded himself with that only he could see was what she was giving this mother fucker that ramped her like a madman. And what’s more, she seemed to enjoy every bit of it. An unknown number had sent him a soundless video of his girlfriend sleeping with another man right under his nose. The person who made the video had captured their clothes tousled on the floor near the bed, which was exactly the red dress she wore tonight. He had dreamt and imagined himself ripping that sexy gown off and doing what was his but who could have thought… Remembering t
Faint sunlight streamed through the thin window curtains and shone on the faces of the two people sleeping and holding onto each other. Under the light, with her long jet-black hair, Daisy looked beautiful and alluring. Her red lips were curled into a half smile like she was having a beautiful dream, making her look sexy in the early morning. She let out a small sigh and smuggled into the arms of the man next to her. His chest was exceptionally hard, and when she put an arm around him, she felt his tone and well-defined abs probe against her arm. But suddenly, she felt something odd. The faint saint coming from him isn’t what she is used to. He has this richly defined masculine fragrance entirely different from the usual peppermint she is familiar with from Edward. When she got the waft of the scent to be sandalwood, she smiled lightly, enjoying the faint scent coming from the man sleeping beside her who had, unknown to her, woken up and was staring at her with a stone-cold expres
Sitting by the door and staring in a daze, she tried to pull back the covers around her body. She saw her world, career and everything crumbling in front of her. Had that happened? She could not imagine the disappointment from her father, dead mother, sister, best friends and even the whole of Australia. No! That must never happen! Her hand holding her phone trembled as she stared with wide eyes. The knocking on the door persisted, and tears poured down her eyes. Suddenly, Wesley appeared behind her, wearing his shirt and pants. He grabbed her hand and yanked her off the floor. Without waiting for her to react, he pulled her towards the bathroom. “Don’t scream. Just come with me,” he warned through gritted teeth. After all, he knew her to always scream before making an announcement on social media. “I’m sure you don’t want to be caught here.” Hearing that, she held her peace and obediently followed him, dragging the sheet that hardly covered her body. They got to the bathroom
In the bathroom, Daisy took a bath and turned off the shower. She immediately grabbed the towel on the rack and slightly mopped her body with it. Her mind was still in a frenzy, and she had her heart in her mouth all along. Afterwards, she slipped into her dress and took out her phone. As she stared at the forty-nine missed calls displayed on her phone screen, her heart raced. The thought that things could have gone bad scared her to death. But sooner or later, she would definitely face whatever had happened. So she tapped on it and scrolled through. Rose had called her over twenty times, about six last night and the rest this morning. Her eyes widened when she saw this. Why would Rose call her so many times repeatedly early in the morning? Then there was Cindy, her dad, and her kid sis, Violet too. Her heart dropped when she saw Edward had not called her at all. Did he find out? Did he catch her? No, has it got to the news? Her heart raced more, and her eyes widened. Wit
“I was going to leave anyways.” With that, he eyed her once more, winked, and walked out of the bathroom. Daisy’s beautiful face was contorted in a deep frown, and suddenly she saw herself going after him. “Hey, stop right there!” she yelled at him, stepping out of the bathroom. Wesley stopped in his tracks, turned, and stared at her, feeling amused. He didn’t know he was going to face an angry bird, so he was taken aback once he turned. ‘Is it because of what I said to her back there?” he wondered, bewildered. Even still, that made him want to tease her even more. He crossed his arms over his broad chest and stared at the lady standing before him who couldn’t even reach his chin in height. “I want to ask you a question!” she said through gritted teeth. “Why did you have sex with me last night, seeing that you got the wrong woman? Why didn’t you push me out?” The way she was so serious, he really wanted to burst out laughing. Anyways, he couldn’t stop the chuckle that escape
A black luxury Audi drove through the road that leads to the most expensive villas in South Yarra. It had been a silent journey from the high-end restaurant. On the passenger’s seat sat a straight figure who looked distant, lost in thoughts, with his brows furrowed. His attractive thin lips were tightly pressed together. He looked like he was upset, and Andrew, who suddenly had to do the work of a driver, did not dare say a thing to him. If only he knew Wesley was not actually angry because that old man James Johnson had set him up but because of that actress. No one ever dares to tell him off or behave that way to him. But she had done these. Except for Andrew, and that’s even when they are in brother mode. Andrew is his most trusted assistant and sometimes his brother. At first, he felt guilty, thinking he had gone too far with his words, but now, he thought she had trampled on his pride and had to be punished. She had no right to make him feel guilty; after all, she had climb
