Leaving

OLIVIA'S POV

It had been three days since the Alphas showed up in the cell to reject me but left without doing it. I've waited for them since then, preparing words of apology and quotes to make them change their minds, as I couldn't imagine being rejected by them.

Being their mate was the only thing that kept me going at the time, so the fear of them coming to reject me kept me on my toes, but they never showed up again since then. Each time I sensed someone coming, I would think it was them, only to see that it was just the guards.

The guards were the only ones checking on me for the past three days, bringing my food and water. However, it had been in vain, as I lost my appetite, and I couldn't bring myself to eat due to the fear in my heart.

They would come to serve me, mock me, and close the gate on me again. They had no business with me eating or not, as long as they served me.

I was in the cell room, thinking to myself when I heard footsteps, and I immediately knew it wasn't Alph
