Building myself slowly

“What you did yesterday is really unnecessary Zed. What give you the idea that you should be doing that? I thought you don’t want people to know that you are a carrier?” his master asked after the next day. “I don’t know master, it just popped up in my head. Maybe my feelings got hurt when the old vendor got injured because of my stupidity.” The master continues to smile and water the plants and forgives Zed.

               “That is fine. I know exactly how you feel. In that case just thank Krono for taking care of everything in your stead. He did spent an awful lot of time just to take care of the people that you injured though I have to say, your summon seems to be a lot obedient that time to be doing what you want it to do.”

               Zed got surprised of what his master said and looks at him. “What do you mean? All I did was summon him and did what you have told me to do and order him in my head.” The master just smiled without looking at the young man who is currently in confusion. He turns his head to Krono who is standing beside him for an explanation but he did not give him the thing that he needs and sigh in defeat. “So what should I do now master? Do I do everything that you have taught me what to do everyday?”

               Just as Zed asking about what he is going to do for the day, a beautiful woman walks in and greets Zed who is somehow familiar with the woman’s face. “Good morning Zed, I am Gwen. I will be the one to train you starting today.” Zed looks at the master and sees that he is still smiling without saying any explanations. “She will be the new trainer. I have told you about hiring a new trainer since I am lacking in some parts. I cannot teach you everything after all.” The master continues to smile as Gwen opens the door to the backyard where they will train for until they decided to change locations.

               “I am an expert in hand to hand combat. Lucious mainly focuses on intelligence so you will not be able to get someone out of him unless it is about what is in your mind.” Zed turns to look at his master who tells him to go on. “She will not bite you know.”

               “I knew I saw him around here. Where is he?” Ameria thinks to herself while looking for Zed after following behind him without him knowing about it. “That idiot Zed, does he really want to distance himself away from me after all that we have been through? And here I thought that he will stay with me till the end.” She thinks to herself while looking for him. Taking a peak in all the houses and mansions that she pass by.

               PAK! PAK! PAK! PAK! PAK! THUD!

               “Again.” She can hear a woman’s voice along with the sound of what it seemed to be a sharp slap. Ameria takes a quick peak and could not see Zed anywhere but only the back of the woman. She was about to leave when she hears Zed’s voice complaining of his sides aching. “That is only a mild pain. There is no need to worry about that at all instead, focus on what I am teaching you. This will help you defend yourself without depending on your ability that much.”

               Ameria’s eyes widened when she heard that for the first time ever since they knew each other from when they are kids. She finds a perfect place to get more view of what they are doing and finds herself beside a rundown building. She is surprised to see that Zed is apparently being taught how to fight with his fist.

               She watch him fall to the ground countless times but Zed still continues to persevere and stands up after each fall. A smile appear on her face along with her tears of happiness after seeing how Zed looked different from what he usually is. “So that’s why he comes here all the time.” She then decides to leave before Zed could ever notice her but it was too late. Ms. Gwen had already made him aware of her presence but due to his concentration that he is pouring in their training, he forgot about her.
