I was running after this rouge, and I wasn't going to let this one live. I pulled out my silver katana sword and took the opportunity to cut both of his legs off. He howls in pain as a pool of blood starts. He stumbles and falls back into the tree as his energy diminishes. I smirked as I kneeled beside him. He looks at me with fear evident in his eyes.
"That's what you get to try escaping me." I hissed at him as his eyes started to drift close. He began to shift, showing a lifeless naked body. I smirked as I pulled out my silver throwing knife and slowly dragging into his chest and did my symbol.
That shows that is the handy work of Xavier the black death. It's what they call me now. Even if I'm only eighteen, they're scared of me. Everyone fears me, so I was pretty famous in the supernatural world as a jack of the trades and a hunter. I'm a human, not any of those phenomenal 100% human, no, mistake. But don't underestimate me. That will be the last thing you'll ever do, and I wasn't feared for nothing, you know.
I've got all world's deadliest weapons. But even without my guns, I can still kill with my bare hands. I've been trained so hard to follow the Headmaster's way as a hunter and the footsteps of The man who took me in after the death of my whole family.
My family was a group of hunters, very skillful indeed—the most hated in the supernatural world. When I was only two years old when my family was killed, the Headmaster well was not the strict type of a dad. He was a sweet and caring dad who was always serious about business. He's always serious.
My caretaker, her name was Allice walker. She was a hunter. I know how cool that is. My dad/Headmaster and my caretaker Allice took the roles of my dad and mom. And you know what happened next? With care from both of them, I became the most deadly assassin. Like I said, "my dad" trained me in the way of a Hunter and some ninja skills, and Allice introduced me to killing like a hunter. I always thought I had the most incredible, badass, deadly stepparents ever, right? But I learned everything doesn't last too long. Allice was killed when I was five. She died keeping me safe in an attack in Medlow, the training ground.
I was depressed when Allice died. My depression turned to anger and hate. I trained long and hard to be the most deadly person in this world. The Headmaster, or dad, wanted me to call him Papa, but he was very impressed with how far I had gotten all these years. The death of Allice and the murders of my whole family have kept me going. For this long, "dad" even turned me to be one of his official assassins or Hunter when I only turned thirteen or twelve years old, I can't remember.
I'm the youngest Hunter in history because most people become hunters or assassins in their late twenties. Of course, they don't know anything about my identity and my real name. Due to Headmaster or dad hate it when I call him Headmaster. I don't even know how he did it. But they all know me as one of the deadly Hunters and one of seven deadly killers under the Headmaster. I killed werewolves, vampires, witches, demons, and even devils for most of my missions. I'm not like the other heartless hunters who kill every creature that catches their sight, not me. But that's what they all think I am. I kill animals that interfere with the peace of others. Those are the Headmaster's orders, and I also kill the ones that are a threat to humankind.
Now don't be mistaken. I'm human. Most hunters and assassins are. But I'm more skillful than others. They started to fear me more when news spread that Xavier, the back death the Hunter, destroyed a whole pack,k including their Alpha, and a nest of vampires killing their queen, all by himself. They didn't add that the pack and nest were evil in the news, though.
Oh, and if you're wondering, I do go to school. My name is David walker. My last name was fake. Of course, it's after Allice. And in the supernatural world, they don't know my name. They call me Xavier, the Black death. And if they knew, I wouldn't have been in school. In their eyes, I'm just a typical teenager that doesn't have a single clue about supernatural creatures.
But I wasn't the badass type of student. If I would, I could. But I pretended I'm gothic blind emo, so no one suspects me of being Xavier the black death. Who in the right would think a blind emo guy would be the number one most deadly assassin that ever existed? No one. And that's precisely why I was like that. So no one can ruin my fake everyday life.
I always work alone. I prefer it that way. Every mission is different in another part of the world, which is fantastic. So I was constantly transferring schools which sucks. And my place, my home, should be close to the woods, not the city. I wouldn't say I like the city so nosy.
I always wrote symbols in one of my victims. It's like my signature, a calling card not on paper but a body. It also shows what I've done and that Xavier, the black death, has killed again.
I smirk as I stand up, admiring my work for a second before leaving the body there.
I was in my temporary home when my phone buzzed. It was a text from an unknown number. I sighed as I knew what the number was. Really "dad," I thought as I looked at the text message. It says...
'Get ready for tomorrow David. You have another mission. The GPS in your car will show you where to go. After reading this, delete this message.' Love DAD
I changed into my regular goth clothes and placed my pure white contactless on. This is how I trick people into thinking that I'm blind with these contactless on I can still see with these things on, and I know cool right? I lifted my bags of weapons with ease, no joking. My bag was well rugged for anyone to raise, not for me. I shove them inside the trunk of my black dodge challenger. I closed the trunk and got in. I started the engine and drove away. I opened my GPS, and it showed... Los Angeles, California, the name made me stop the car abruptly, forcing a loud noise from the tires. That place... It was where my whole family was killed. "Breath, David. Breath." I said, comforting myself as I was shocked that I was going to the place where my whole family was killed. I promise one day I'll find out who killed you guys. It is the last thing I'd do. I drove for hours, but I came to a stop at a fast food restaurant, one because I'll get more information for my mission and two becau
BEEP, BEEP! With the sound of the stupid alarm clock, I groan as my eyes open. Last night I had to fix the entire house before I went to bed. I didn't bother with those werewolves. Thankfully they didn't bother barging inside my house while I was sleeping. Oh, did I mention I am a very, very light sleeper? I yawn a little as I throw the blankets off my body and stand up. I rub my eyes and then remember that I have school today. I hurriedly went inside the shower. The icy cold water hit my head. I sighed, but it felt good. The cold water did wake me up. I need to buy a heater. I took my mint-sent shampoo and conditioner and then rubbed my dark brown hair. Chandler says I'll be bound to encounter a lot of werewolves. Plus, he said there is a whole pack here. The Crismon warrior pack, one of the most substantial packs in America just my luck. I came out of the shower with a towel wrapped around the lower part of my body. I looked around to see what time it was.... fuck I need to buy
"So...David.... we have History, and it's in the first class. And nothing else, I guess." Rowan says as we walk into the empty hallway after we get our schedule from the principal. Rowan was friendly in helping me find my locker. I would probably try to ignore him if he weren't an Alpha. I know I'm an awful person. Finally, we found my locker. As I was about to open it, the bell interrupted me. Wow, it must be lunchtime already. How long have I been with Rowan? I said to myself. "Hey, you wanna sit with us?" Rowan surprises by saying that. Wow. I know he's very popular. But he wants me to sit with him at lunch. I mean, I do not deny his attractiveness. I know girls dream of him. And what the fuck? Did I think Rowan was cute, but he invited me to lunch with him, and he knows very well I'm blind! And not the type people call famous. Okay, this is suspicious. Even as a hunter, I can't quite put the finger on his acting. Or maybe he is just waiting to say next, 'just kidding! After th
"Xavier, the black death is here," Dad said in all seriousness. Even if he looks tough, I know he's scared like hell. A few hours ago, when we went to the grocery store. When we found a dead body, we saw the ' symbol ' written on his chest. We immediately call everyone in my pack. And now we're in this pack meeting. "Don't you think it wasn't a coincidence when the number of rogues increased at this time?" Uncle suggested. It was a few seconds of silence until my Dad spoke, "Don't you think about the boy that moved h-" I didn't let him finish as I growled loudly. They seemed surprised as they looked at me, Oh, I forgot to tell them I found my mate. "He's my mate. There's no way he could ever do that or more or less hurt anyone." I growl as my fist curled until my knuckles turned white. How dare they accuse my mate of such a thing? Mom suddenly spoke up, lessening the tension in the air, "You found your mate? Rowan darling, why didn't you tell us? Who is he? What's his name? When
Since when I first got here, like just yesterday, I didn't get to go to my morning classes, remember? Lucky me, right... I sigh; I should've gone there so I won't have introduced myself anymore. I slammed my locker! I don't care if others look at me as I walk to my first class or what I like to call my first step in hell. But after I killed Randy, I didn't leave any traces of him. Ya, I'm that cold-hearted. I was now standing at the doorframe; luckily, the teacher was still not there. I step inside and look around—Rowan's already here, and Martha; 's just my luck. I looked around and saw some students. I don't care. Please don't see me. Please don't call out my name, and I thought as I heard. "David! Over here!" Martha waves her hand. Crap!! I felt the mere mention of my name. Rowan's head snapped in my direction, and he smiled. I gave a weak smile. God, why me? I walked in her direction but then felt someone grabbing me by my wrist. Wow, the guy was strong. I look to my right to
He smiled. "Hey, partner!" Partner! oh no, I thought as I lowered my gun and placed it on a table beside me. "I didn't know you were that good. Man, I didn't even know you were already in the house! I just heard the car!" I frowned at him. "Are you my partner or my fan?" I asked, looking at him confused. He laughed and extended his arm. "James. James Bond. Nah, I was just kidding. It's James (for now) walker. Your new cousin, oh, and I'm nineteen years old." He winked at the last statement. I groaned and rolled my eyes even though I was wearing my contactless I gave him a weird look before I handshake him. Whatever this guy is, he has a horrible sense of humor. "David, eighteen. James huh? He sat again and turned his head to the TV. "So... I heard you're pretending to be blind. That's a pretty smart idea." I nodded as I popped a soda from the fridge and took a sip. "No one will ever suspect me of being such an assassin. So do you pretend to be anything at school or such?" I ask
