Kaylee pov

Looking at the closed door, I hear Alora walk closer and stop beside me when I'm quick to take a step back, placing some distance between myself and his room.

"There is no way I'm going in there," I state, turning my head to look at her. She stands there with a calm expression on her face.

"You aren't, it's the room next to him we are going to" she answers, and I shake my head in response, like that would be any better than his. I know he could easily walk right into the room without my consent.

"No, I'm not staying there either." I answer back and take another step down the hallway where we came from when I hear several heavy footsteps walking behind me and quickly swirl around to see who it is.

Two men, who I guess are guards, come walking with determined steps closer to where I stand, their eyes are locked on me, and I get this feeling they are here to make sure I go where I'm supposed to and not trying to escape this house.
