Kaylee pov

I try to scan the room and find out where his voice comes from, but it takes a second for my eyes to adjust, and once they have I see him sitting in the dark corner with his eyes looking right at me.

Holding the towel closer to me I stand in my place, I'm not going to do as he says. I've got nothing on me underneath, and I don't understand why he wants me to take it off.

"Drop the towel," he growls, threatening and I instantly start to tremble slightly on my hands. I'm sure he is still angry from before.

"Zina," I say to my wolf. I can't reach her this time either and all I want is to have her with me. It's comforting just knowing she is there, but she is out of reach. The lights are suddenly turned on, and I see him sitting back in the armchair with his eyes locked on me. He isn't covered in blood any longer and has put on black pants and a black shirt.
