Shweta settled on the bed, when I pulled the tea table near her. Sitting in Indian style, she first took the bowl of soup. Spoon after spoon she drank the soup; not even once did she look at me. Then came the turn of rice and Manchurian balls. Smashing the chicken Manchurian balls, she mixed it completely with the fried rice.

Occasionally taking a bite of chicken lollipop, she devoured the fried rice as if I, was starving her for one week. After every two or three bites of rice and chicken lollipop, she would take a sip of coke. Eating the last bite of rice, she placed the spoon back in the plate and finished the remaining coke in the tin.

For a girl, who is so thin, it is almost unbelievable that she has such a big appetite. Out of curiosity, I said, "Looks like you prefer Chinese food a lot." And continued filling the same plate with food for myself.
