(POV - Chloe Miller)

"How can a dog get that big?" I asked a bit shocked.

In all my years studying veterinary medicine I had never seen a dog that big, I think it was a Siberian Husky but almost 1.5 times the size of an adult Great Dane.

The large man, wearing a hospital gown this time, stopped where he was in shock. One hand holds a glass filled with water.

"Did I just imagine it?" I continued, raising one hand to examine my head.

Hallucinations are one of the side effects of a concussion.

"You'd better have a drink first," he said before holding out the glass in his hand. I received it then drank the cold water from the glass a few sips while trying to organize my thoughts.

"Ouch!" I screamed as I bent down to set a glass on the bedside table, I think the bruises on some of my ribs were worse than my head because it hurt so much when I bent down.

"Are you okay?" he asked, grabbing my arms to help me out. "Don't move much as long as the bruise is fresh."

This man was probably a nurse
