Our kiss was interrupted by loud banging on the bedroom door. Alex pulled his face then looked at me while panting, without realizing we were both lying on the bed. Alex who was above me closed his eyes for a moment then pulled his body away from me and rushed to open the door with a little hard.

"What?!" he snapped angrily.

"Al-Alpha, your parents' house is on fire!" answered the voice. I jumped out of bed and immediately grabbed the jacket that was slung on the dresser chair. Alex turned to me but I was already behind him.

"Come on," I said, walking ahead of him and the Pack members who were standing in front of us. My heart was pounding really hard inside my chest, but I tried to stay calm .

"Have our parents left yet?" I asked Jake who was already waiting at the bottom of the stairs.

"They're fine, just a little in shock," Jake replied with a strained face. "Let me drive," he continued. We followed Jake into the Pack's parking area. Several members of the Pack who had woken up acc
