AUTHOR'S POV
“ Are there no maids here? ” Silas groaned out as he noticed her cooking breakfast. He eyed her from afar trying to get past this awkward situation. She had not talked to him after that moment in the closet. She silently took her clothes and left his room. Now she stood in front of the kitchen counter making breakfast. She was wearing her casual clothes, a grey shirt with shorts. Her long legs were on display for him to ogle and die breathlessly. Her face was bare of any makeup. She did not look like Sara at all. She looked like some sweet wife who was cooking breakfast for her loving family. The thought made Silas snicker to himself.
Sara's eyes raised up to find him standing near the doorway.
“ There will be no maids. ” She replied finally, making him sigh heavily.“ Why? Are we running short on money Baby? ” He joked trying to lighten up the mood. Her eAUTHOR'S POV “ LEAVE ME! ” His filthy tongue grazed her neck and jolts of revulsion shot her body. She tried to get herself out of his hold using all her energy but to no avail. His dirty hands started roaming around her body making her scream louder. In despair and fear. Sara jolted up from her slumber and shrieked loudly. Her heart was drumming in her ears. Her eye were wide in terror. It was all a nightmare right? Gulping down the lump forming in her throat, Sara looked around herself. She was in some unknown place but it did not look like prison. It was a room furnished in all black and red. A set of black and red sofa set was placed at the one corner of the room while two doors were present on both sides of the room. A frown etched upon her forehead and she noticed the bed she was currently sitting on. Its sheets were black while the pillows and blankets were red.She glanced
AUTHOR'S POV A blindfold was tied around her eyes and she was dropped back to the place they thought as her home. She could not know where that place was now. The place where she was at just an hour ago. And who was that man? This was another question that was unanswered. She didn't want to think about any of this. She didn't even know how she was still standing outside the house she had to call her home. She was in a trance. Whenever she looked down at her hands, she could see only blood. Whenever she started thinking, Gabriel's sinster face flashed before her eyes. She wanted to cry and scream and then cry again but she was unable to do even that. What had she done? She had asked herself this question repeatedly as guilt drowned her. Sometimes, an evil voice in her mind whispered that a man like Gabriel deserved to die, but her rational mind was against that whisper. No
AUTHOR'S POVSilas strolled towards the living room of the huge mansion, where he must be waiting for him. He had asked Sara about what happened to her in hope that she was going to trust him and then tell him everything but she didn't. She didn't trust him. It was understandable because he had not given her any reasons to trust him either. He was not angry at her but himself for being so stupid. Why did he even say that all he wanted was power and money? Silas groaned out and stepped inside the huge lavish living room in a trance. “ Finally. You decided to show up, young man! ” The old soft voice grabbed Silas's attention and he lifted his head to find his Grandfather glaring at him. This old man's soft voice never matched the cold expressions on his face at all. “ I was busy. ” Silas yawned out and walked to the couch opposite him, before slumping down on it tiredly.
AUTHOR'S POV Sara's mind kept repeating the same thing over and over again. I am alright. I am fine. I am going to be alright. She could still see the crimson red blood on her hands when her mind knew that it was not there anymore. Her mind was making her see things that were not there to begin with. The whole day... She spent the whole day sitting in her room. No matter what happened in her life, she never locked herself like this. But again, she had never killed someone before. Her mind was having a hard time moving past that moment in her life. She could still feel his filthy touch all over her body. Her body tingled with disgust. Was this what people like Gabriel did to the weak? When that Gabriel found out that Sara was not backed and favored by Grandfather Magnus, he pounced on her like an animal wanting her to succumb to him either by choice or by force.
AUTHOR'S POV He was groping her again. His filthy lips and teeth were nibbling on the soft skin of her neck as she screamed her lungs out in fear. No one was there to stop him. She was crying out for help as he ripped her clothes apart and smiled sinisterly at her. She had never felt this scared in her whole life. “ Sara! ” Then a voice invaded her senses and the scene changed in front of her eyes. There was only darkness surrounding her now. And a voice was calling out to her in that darkness. She looked around herself to find the source of the voice when the voice called out to her again. “ Sara ” The voice made her calm down unconsciously. Blinking her eyes open, Sara found Silas leaning over her. It took her a moment to understand what was happening due to the killer headache she was experiencing. Her hands shot out to hold his arm on their own
AUTHOR'S POV Getting ready and eating breakfast, because Silas wouldn't let her leave without it, Sara made her way to the huge building in the middle of the city, that was the headquarter of Lexington Corporation. Her mind was in turmoil. There was something fishy about the whole thing. Grandfather Magnus called her back on his own. If someone had told her that this would happen to her one day, she would laugh it off but this really happened. Pushing everything at the back of her mind, Sara held her head high and approached the Chairman's office that belonged to Grandfather. One day, this office would be hers. She was going to make sure of it. Heaving a deep breath, Sara pushed her hand forward and knocked on the door lightly. She waited for a moment until she heard the ' come in ' from inside and then turned the door knob to open the door. Stepping inside, she closed the door behind her and tu
AUTHOR'S POV “ What do you want for Dinner, Dear Wife? Remember you left me in charge of taking care of the house and you. ” Silas chirped like a teenager as Sara's hand reached up to rub her temples. “ Did you really just call me to ask such a stupid question? ” She breathed out and bit her lip to stop the grin that threatened to break out on her lips. “ Then do you think I called you to profess my undying love to Mrs Sara Alexander? ” His tone changed suddenly as he purred, causing Sara's heart to miss several beats. “ You-You... ” She didn't know what to say to this idiot who always knew how to make her go speechless. “ Yes. Speak further dear wife. Why are you stuck at You? ” He teased and Sara heard him laughing through the speaker. “ Don't call me again! ” She hissed and hanged up on the call. How embarassi
AUTHOR'S POV “ I am doing this because I love you. ” He whispered close to her lips and Sara's fight or flight response activated instantly. Her hand shot up to slap him right across his face, before she pushed him away from her. Her eyes glared at the darkness in front of her. “ Do. Not. Touch. Me. Again. ” Her eyes burned as she hissed at him and heard the ragged breaths from in front of her. “ You just slapped me? ” He chuckled out in disbelief. Realization dawned upon Sara all of a sudden. Her hand shot up to cover her mouth in horror. This man knew her ugly secrets and he was hell powerful. How could she just slap him so stupidly?! He could destroy her and she went around provoking him. What's wrong with you Sara?! Her mind scolded her harshly. But she couldn't hold herself back. When he touched her, she was already feeling disgust

She t’ched internally and walked over to him.“ So? Now, you know you can not run away from here. ” He folded his arms over his chest and poked his inner cheek with his tongue.“ Yeah. I know I can’t run away. ” Sara whispered, strolling toward the connected doors to check everything out.“ What are you doing? ” Silas asked suspiciously. She was too calm at this time and to

It was the Lion’s den and it would be impossible to leave from here if Silas didn’t let her go.“ Try leaving then. ” Silas challenged, their egos finally clashing.“ So you will do this to me now? ” Sara spoke, hurtfully.“ I have to do this.
