Benson gets Ally settled in. She lays in bed in their beautiful room, looking at the young lady quickly trying to get everything into place so she could leave the room. Ally closes her eyes for a second and falls asleep instantly. The day has been tiring. Packing her things at the facility, the long drive over here, meeting all these new people. It does not seem like a lot but when you are recovering from something it could be tiring.Ally wakes when there is a soft knock on the door. Ronald stands in the doorway, smiling at Ally. For a second, Ally’s heart sinks. She was so sure she is out of the facility. She smiles a sad smile back at Ronald and then notice the room is different. Ally pushes herself up on her elbows and then into a seated position on the bed. She looks around the room quickly just to make sure she really is out of the facility. Ronald notice that Ally sighs a deep sigh of relief.“Thought you were back there?” Ronald asks her in a soft tone.“Yes, for a second I th
Benson shifts his gaze from Ally to Ronald. Ronald quickly stands up from the end of the bed.“What is going on here?” Benson asks. The tone of his voice heavy with disapproval.“I came to give Mrs Ash her physical therapy.” Ronald answers, looking questioning at Benson. Benson gives Ronald a cold hard stare.“Ronald also gave me physical therapy in the facility.” Ally tries to soothe the situation. Benson does not move his stare from Ronald.“It is inappropriate to see a married woman in her bedroom. There are many other rooms in the house where you could do your physical therapy. Also, it sounds more like a tea party than a session. If you cannot act in a professional manner, I will have you replaced.” Benson tells Ronald. Ronald looks Benson in the eyes while he is being berated. He simply nods and then turns to collect his bag. He turns to Ally just before he leaves the room and tells her goodbye.Benson leaves without looking over his shoulder. Ally cannot believe what just happe
Ally stands with her back against the wall of her bedroom, trying to control her breathing as she listens to the footsteps passing her doorway. When the footsteps are past her room, she slides the door open slowly to look at the woman going down the stairs. She is definitely one of the staff members. Ally walks into the hallway and looks to the side where the locked door is. Why would they lock only that door. Ally cannot believe how curious she feels about this. She wishes she could call Megan so they can find out what is going on there together.MEGANAlly grabs onto the top rail of the staircase to stabilize herself. The memory hit her like a ton of bricks. Megan was not only her best friend; she was more like a sister. She will have to call Megan. Megan would be able to fill in all the blanks for her. Ally quickly goes back into her room. Surely, she must have a cell phone somewhere? The world is run by the things these days. After searching the entire room, Ally sits on the edge
Ally wakes up the following morning. She is laying in the oversized bed in her and Benson’s bedroom. Her body aches and she have trouble turning around.Ally drags herself out of bed, swinging her legs off the bed and sitting on the side. She steadies herself with her arms holding onto the edge of the bed. Her feet are also aching. Ally cannot remember ever feeling this horrible. But, then again, she cannot really remember anything. This train of thought brings her back to Megan. She suddenly remembers that she was searching for a cell phone yesterday. She was trying to get a way to get hold of Megan. Ally is a little startled when she notices Benson standing in the doorway.“Everything okay?” Benson asks her. He has a worried look on his face but there is a strong undertone of annoyance.“Yes, thank you. Just some aches and pains.” Ally replies. She tries to make it sound as light as possible, even though the pain is almost unbearable. Benson nods and turns to leave.“Benson.” Ally c
After the session, Ronald packs his bag and gets ready to leave. Ally watches him closely whishing there was a moment she could tell him something without anyone else hearing what she needs to say to him. Ally keeps looking at the microphone that is just barely visible on the second button of Ronald’s shirt.“We will be able to start water therapy by next week.” Ronald tells her. She is immediately excited about the prospect. If they are in water, there would be no way to bug Ronald.“That actually sounds like less work.” Ally laughs. Even though she is only joking to have something to say, she is quite sure that being in water would take less effort than walking around.“You will enjoy it. The pool is heated also so you will not even have to worry about being cold.” Ronald jokes with her. Ally watches as he waves to her and leaves the room. She knows she can trust Ronald. He showed her the microphone when they were walking. She made it to the locked door just fine but the way back wa
Benson seems more relaxed in the days following swimming date with Ally. when Ronald comes by again he and Ally has their therapy station in the swimming pool. Ali feels nervous she doesn't know how they are being monitored or if there's another way that they will be listened in on whatever conversation they are trying to have.she tries very hard not to show her nerves there are two assistants standing outside of the swimming pool while Ronald is giving her therapy he holds a virus sides letting her kick her feet underneath the water. There is not there is not a moment where they are not being looked at by the other assistants outside of this swimming pool. Ally is not sure exactly how well they are able to hear whatever they are saying so she tries not to speak of anything that they should not hear.at the end of the station Ronald tiles Ally that you can go get dressed and he will rub her legs down before they head back into the house.the assistance use this time to pack up all
Ally quickly realises that there is only one way to ensure Benson’sgood mood. She tires her best to look excited whenever she sees him.He seems to calm down whenever he sees that she wants to be close tohim. Whenever she shows the slightest interest in anyone or anythingelse, he seems to grow agitated and then retract from her completely. The longest he went without talking to her have been three days.Ally wonders why it is that he is acting this way. Is it because shedoes not remember marrying him? It is not as if she does not try to bea good wife to him anyway. Maybe she is just not the way she wasbefore she lost her memory. Maybe he got to know someone she turnedinto in the last eight years, and all she knows how to be is the wayshe was before she lost her memory.Ally has always been very adaptable. She knows that she still isbecause she is trying to adapt to a man she barely knows. If it wasnot for all the wedding pictures in their room and the vast amount ofcouple p
Ally feels quite accomplished with herself for being able to figure out how to control Benson’s mood. She finds that he says yes to a lot more things when he is in a good mood. She used the two weeks after the last encounter with Ronald to test this theory. It works. Well.Today feels like the day that Ally would be able to ask Benson again if he can bring her in contact with Megan. When she woke the morning, Benson was not in the room anymore. She got dressed and walked out of the room. She finds it a lot easier to move about these days, even though there are moments that a tiredness hits her that she has not known before.Ally took some time to explore the house in moments that Benson was too busy to pay attention to her. She found his office and had a great time getting to know what he does while snooping around through his things. He does live an interesting life. He travels a lot and he is really smart. Most of the things on his table has a legal aspect to it. Some of it was so d
