Chapter 102

Ally stands staring into the empty room. She turns around to look at Benson.

“Go inside.” He says as he rolls his eyes. Ally takes her turn to roll her eyes before walking into the room. Behind the door are stacks of boxes. Ally takes a closer look at he boxes.

The one box is definitely a crib that still needs to be assembled. The other boxes are common items found in babies’ rooms. Ally turns around to look at Benson again.

“I thought we could turn this into a nursery for the baby. You only need to choose a colour for the walls and we can start to put it together.” Benson tells Ally. Ally looks back at the stacks of boxes.

“How many cribs are here?” Ally asks Benson.

“One.” Benson answers. A deep frown forms on his forehead. “Why?” he asks.
