Finally deciding that this was probably a terrible idea and that she should have listened to her mind, Bea decided to take her leave.

“Don’t leave me hanging. You saw that I was busy before you came in and I had to pause everything for you. Why are you here? What do you want?” Daniel’s voice came through.

Slowly turning around, Beatrice could see that Daniel was already on his feet. He was starting to come closer to where she stood and her heart started beating fast. Bea was still allergic to certain smells and hoped that he wasn’t putting on a cologne that was going to churn her stomach again.

“I want to discuss something with you.” She voiced out, hardly looking him in the eyes.

“I’m all ears.” He came to a halt about three steps away from her. Tucking his hands in his pockets.
