Chapter Fifty Eight

Daniel picked up his wallet from the desk after which they both exited the office. They weren’t holding each other’s hands or really walking closely but the staff could not stop taking glances at them.

The driver drove the car to the front of the office building. Before he could come down to open the door for them, Daniel opened the door to the backseat for Beatrice. She thanked him before making her way in after which Daniel proceeded to the other side and helped himself in. The duo occupied the back passenger seat with an evident space in the middle while the driver drove.

The ride to the hospital was a very quiet one except for the times that Daniel attended to three work calls. Beatrice occupied herself with her thoughts and after what felt like a very long journey, they arrived at Wallis Hospital. The biggest private hospital in the country, also known to have the best Doctors.
