Chapter 49: The Challenge

"I, the daughter of the former alpha pair of the Moonlock pack, join Marc Bolt and Tia Bolt of the former Bolt and Shadow pack to challenge your alpha."

No one moved from their position. Of course, no one could oppose the alpha's wish, but it was the title of the alpha himself that was in question. Tia and I knew the customs and sat down on a need and followed Veronica.

"You must be mad. Put an end to them all." Erica said to everyone. No one moved. When the Alpha was challenged, it was up to him to accept or decline the fight. If he accepted the challenge, both opponents were given a one-month preparation period. During this time, no attacks were allowed between them. If the offer was declined, members of the pack were free to leave, as their alpha hadn't successfully proven his worth.
