Bianca’s POV
Have you ever waited so long for a miracle that when it happened to you, you were just not ready for the shock that would follow? Hell, yeah! That is exactly what I felt when I watched the news this evening and saw that my husband's company, Dew-ton, had just been awarded a multi-billion dollar project. I blinked back my tears of joy as I dialled his number several times, but it went into voicemail every single time. A rush of emotions swept through me as I thought of how this project would change Dan's life and mine. My Art Gallery? Yes! I was sure that Dan would upgrade my art gallery, and make it more sophisticated. An hour later, I sprang up from the couch, beaming with smiles as I heard Dan's car pull into the driveway outside the house. Within minutes, the front door was unlocked and he walked into room, holding his suitcase in one hand. There was a giddy thrill in my head as my eyes found his ocean-blue eyes. The same features that had caused me to fall in love with him. "Honey, welcome back home!" I greeted, rushing towards him to give him a kiss. There was a blank stare on his face, almost as if he didn't recognize me. He gently pushed me out of his way, "Not now." Perhaps, he was tired. I made a move to collect the briefcase from him, "I know you had a long day at work, Honey" He held on firmly to the briefcase, "Just let me be. Please." His tone was cold and he avoided my eyes. I didn't expect that. So, I watched him walk over to the couch, and sit on it, pulling off his work shoes and socks. Something definitely felt wrong. Dan never came home with a frown on his face, no matter how frustrating his day had been. Rather, he would envelop me in a hug, smothering me with kisses. I stood, rooted to the spot as I eyed him in silence. He jerked his head sideways and cocked an eyebrow at me, "Bianca. Come over here. There's something I need to tell you" Bianca? He barely addressed me in such a manner. I had always been, "Babe" to him. I didn't point out my surprise at the name he chose to call me. Rather, I sauntered over to the couch and sat besides him, leaving a few inches between us. My gaze settled on his strikingly handsome features and I swallowed hard. Even after three years of being married to him, Dan still made the butterflies at the pit of my stomach flutter. "Bianca... I know that this will come as a shock to you but—" He started to say. "Your company got the multibillion dollar deal?" I cut into his words, excitedly. At the same time, he said, "I need a divorce." It took me a few seconds to realize what he said, and my eyes widened. "What did you just say, Honey?" I asked. "You're right. My company got the deal, but I'm getting a divorce. I'm done with this marriage." The next minutes that passed were filled with silence as I stared back at him in disbelief. His face remained just the same. His brown hair was perfectly gelled to the side, and a muscle in his jaw twitched as he started ahead. "Dan, I know you're joking. You don't mean this, huh?" "I'm sure as hell about this." He said, gritting his teeth. He was still staring at the space in front of him, instead of looking at me. "Our marriage has been nothing but perfect. I've been the supportive wife, always trying my best to see you grow. You promised to upgrade my gallery when you get more money, and now—" "The divorce papers are ready, Bianca." He said, opening up his briefcase. He pulled out a document and gently placed it on my thighs, "I don't want you to make it any harder than it already is. Just sign the papers and leave this house." "Wh...what? Leave?" I said, almost choking on my words. He nodded his head, before turning his attention to me for the first time. His lips were drawn back in a snarl, "Sign the papers, drop your next location and leave. I'll send your personal belongings to you within the next few days. For now, you have to leave." I flung the papers to the floor. "Okay, you win! I fell for your mighty prank, can you stop the act already? Please." "This is not a prank!" I racked my brain, confused, as I struggled to remember what could possibly be the reason behind what was happening. Nothing! Absolutely nothing came to my mind as I thought about how he had happily kissed me goodbye early that morning, before leaving for work. "Dan....you know I have nowhere else to go to. Why are you doing this to me? Don't you love me anymore?" Tears welled up in my eyes and I reached out to place my hand over his. Yet, he shrugged my hand off, as he rose to his feet abruptly. Then, he walked over to the window and stood besides it, with his back towards me. "Dan!" I called out with a shaky voice. "No, I don't love you. I never did. The woman who owns my heart is on her way this house, and that is why I need you to sign those damn papers." "No...no" Tears streamed down my face. "This cannot be happening." "I'll be going into the room to have a shower. By the time I'm out, make sure you are no longer here. I don't want to be forced to use my hands to make you leave" He strode to the staircase and took brisks steps up it without turning to look at me. My heart thudded in my chest. I sobbed harder, holding my head in my hands. A knot formed at the pit of my stomach, making it hard for me to breathe. My world had been torn apart, and I was expected to walk away as though nothing was wrong. One of Dan's words filtered into my mind, causing me to stiffen; the woman who owned his heart was on her way, and that was why I had to leave immediately. I picked up the papers, dropped them on the table, and went into the kitchen to get a glass of water. Moments later, a soft, feminine voice from the other room floated over to me, and I rushed out of the kitchen still holding on to the glass of water. My lips curved up in a smile at the woman who just came into the house. Serah, my cousin and only surviving family. "I'm so glad you came!" I squealed with relief, strolling over to her. She had on heavy makeup, and she shot me a glare from underneath her thick lashes, "Bianca? What are you still doing here?" She shot at me, before turning towards the staircase. Dan was just coming down, dressed in shorts, leaving his chest bare. "Sweetie? You promised that she'd be gone before I arrive. What's this b*tch still doing in our house?" She yelled, pointing a finger at me. I staggered backwards, shocked and stunned. No...no...this wasn't happening. This had to be one bad nightmare. My eyes darted from Dan to Serah, and back to Dan again. "Dan? Is she..." My voice was barely above a hoarse whisper. "Yes. She's the woman I love." Dan cut in, spreading his arms as she walked into them, raised herself on her tiptoes and planted a kiss on his lips. He snaked an arm around her waist, leaning into the kiss. I didn't know when the glass of water slipped out of my hands and shattered to the floor, right at my feet. They both looked up at me, startled, almost as though they forgot that I was still there, watching them. "Get the hell out of my house. You are not needed here." Serahspat.Bianca’s POV "Babe?" Gideon asked, snaking his arm around my waist to draw me close to him. I looked up at him smiling. He leaned down to my face and his lips crashed into mine in a kiss. When he pulled away, there was a lopsided grin on his face. "In less than two days, you'll be fully mine." He muttered. His voice sent a thrill through me. I was still smiling, "Yeah, Babe. In less than two days." I repeated. Within the last five months, my life has done a complete 360 turn, in the most shocking way ever. Right after getting divorced from my ex-husband, I moved into my art gallery, as I couldn't afford to pay rent for myself. Miracles do happen, right? I met Gideon. He made me forget every single pain I ever felt from seeing my cousin get married to my ex-husband. Gideon was a medical doctor and a few weeks after we met, he did the exact thing which my ex-husband had refused to do. He upgraded my art gallery to perfection, without me having to ask him. His phone brigh
Bianca’s POVIt's been months since I slept with that stranger at the club. Since then, I had tried my best to be the best wife to Gideon. The guilt of what happened took weeks before it could finally roll away from me. Gideon never found out. That stranger? We never ran into each other again. My life was going perfectly well until one day. Gideon called me from work one morning with a big announcement."Babe? I almost lost the only family I ever had.""What? How?" I had exclaimed."My brother! He got into an accident in another city, and can barely use his legs now."I tried to sympathize with Gideon until he dropped the bombshell.."Charles will be coming over to stay at our place for a while until he gets better."I readily agreed. Well, I could do almost anything for Gideon. That's how badly I wanted our marriage to work, and I was more than ready to accept his brother as my family. So, we both agreed that I would pick Charles up at the airport that morning. I was a bit excite
Charles' POV"Wh-what?" She asked with a voice that was barely above a whisper. I nodded. The thrill of having her wrapped around my finger tips excited me. "You heard me right, didn't you?" I asked, "You cheated on your husband, and don't expect me to be silent about it."She broke into a cough, "So, you'll tell him that we f*cked?"This was getting more interesting, I thought. There was a blank expression on my face as I fixed a stare on her. "Technically..but, you will pose everything you've built with him. He's my brother, and he'd believe me if I tell him that you manipulated everything." I said. The shock on her face slowly turned into a glare, causing her to twist her lips in a snarl. Without another word, she pulled the car out of the parking lot. Silence hung in the car on the drive back home, as neither of us spoke to each other again. Two weeks went by. The tension between Bianca and I got more intense, with how we both put up an act in front of Gideon, as though nothi
Bianca’s POVI slowly opened my eyes, feeling sore between my legs. Charles made sure he handled me well, wanting me to come back for more.Turning to look beside me, the bed was empty. I growled and bit my lips, wishing that I didn't enjoy it last night."Oh, shit!" I cussed as I listened and heard the shower running. In horror, I stood from the bed and hurried out. My heart beating rapidly as I thought of what just happened.I picked my clothes up and instantly wore them. Before I could take another step, Charles walked out of the bathroom, with a towel wrapped around his waist. "Hey, angel! You're up." He said, smiling mischievously."What did we do?!" I yelled in anger and fear."What do you mean? We enjoyed ourselves last night," He said, causing me to growl in anger. I clutched my fist tightly and responded,"Gideon will kill me if he finds out! We can't keep this up or he'll find out" I said, pacing in the room, scared that my husband would come home at any time"What time did

Bianca’s POV "Babe, what's the matter? My brother is in the sitting room" Gideon informed and walked toward the vanity. "Baby, em... Nothing is wrong. I'm just feeling a bit sick, and I wanted him to help me with water." I lied "Ohh okay baby," He said and moved closer to the bed, he kissed my forehead and said, "Charles told me that you've been sleeping all day; I hope you're feeling better now, honey, or should we visit the hospital?" "No baby, I'm fine" I responded. I felt really bad for what I did before he came. Luckily, he didn't come home to see me in bed with Charles, we could have been having a different conversation now if that was the case. I stood from the bed, feeling sore between my legs. Well done, Charles" I thought and walked into the bathroom. "Sweetheart, are you okay? If you want, I can prepare a bath for you and bath you myself too" Gideon said, sending butterflies into my stomach but that feeling was immediately replaced the moment I thought about Charle
Bianca’s POV"Baby, you're here," I said, with my hands trembling."Yes, where else should I be?" He asked before moving to the table. By this time, Charles was already pretending to be walking on crutches."Em.... Here." I faked a smile. I could hear my heart beating rapidly against my chest."What secret are you guys talking about?" Gideon asked. I turned to Charles, who cleared his throat and said, "Brother! It's just a surprise we planned for you, but now that you know about it, I think we'll have to wait for another time, a time you wouldn't expect it. Am I not right, Bianca?" "Oh yes! My husband has been nice to me... Em, look at yesterday, he surprised me... I just don't know how I can ever repay him," I said, gazing at Gideon with a warm smile on my face."Oh baby, you don't have to repay me, okay? All I need is your loyalty," Gideon said, causing my heart to immediately sink in guilt."Loyalty" I muttered, gulping down the saliva in my mouth."Yes, dear, I want you all for
Charles’ POV"See who couldn't wait to get laid," I said the moment I turned to the door to see who walked in on me"You wish! Because of you, I have to quit my job! Good job, Charles!" Bianca said and slammed the door. If only she knew how much I wanted her, but I couldn't tell her that to her face. The only thing I can get from here is this and I couldn't mess anything up.I put on my clothes, feeling little pains in some parts of my body."Arghh" I growled. Luckily, I wasn't badly hurt; before dusk, I'm sure the pain will be gone. After a few minutes, Gideon walked into the room and asked, "How are you feeling now, bro?" He asked, causing me to nod my head before responding, "I'm fine, I'm fine. I just want to get back home. You know how much I hate hospitals." "Okay, you're about to be discharged now. Just get ready. Your crutches are by the corner," He informed me and helped me get them. He gave them to me and said, "Let me take my bag from the office, my shift is already ove
