Chapter 40

The next morning is a whirl wind of events.

Leo called Adair to tell him that we were to go to some boutique to get our measurements taken by a tailor for the party. According to Leo, there was no way that he was going to let his favorite people wear ordinary clothes.

In terms of ordinary, the boutique was no where near ordinary at all, with it's dark green walls sparkling with specks of gold foil and it's light grey marble floors shining with no inch of dust or dirt. A long corridor lightens the way with chandeliers, exposing doors that remain tightly closed. Two doors remained situated behind the tall dark grey marble desk and before we could say a word, tailors from behind the doors came bustling out with their measuring tapes and iPads. 

All dividng out, they each take us to seperate sides of the room and measure us from top to bottom, not missing a single thing. I’ve gotten custom made blazers and dresses for work, but this was something else.
