Once Clarissa arrived at her office, she was feeling uncomfortable in her stomach. She had just observed her monthly visitor’s lateness for almost two months just this morning. She managed to finish her work before lunch and drove to a pharmacy not far from her office.

She got out of her car and looked at the pharmacy in front of her. She was contemplating whether she should go in or turn back, but she couldn’t delay this any longer. It has been seven weeks now and she has not seen her period. She picked up a face mask from her handbag and walked slowly and elegantly into the pharmacy.
