Clarissa pov
There was the smell of food in the air, I was walking towards the dining room when it clicked that Drew had made breakfast. My joy knows no bounds; even if you put a horse in my stomach, it will definitely not gallop.
I grimace from ear to ear, the food is still hot. I picked up the cup and drank the cup of warm milk. It made my stomach feel so warm. I sat down and started wolfing down breakfast like a hungry wolf. After eating my fill, I decided to say hi to the dessert on the table. When I opened it, I saw a note attached to it. I opened it, and then it read, "Sweetheart, please, I’m sorry. Forgive me, Rissa.” I had a fulfilling breakfast.
I know he wants things to return to how they were before our parents' arrival. I want that too. Dad Dad and Mom will not be happy if they see us ignoring each other. I can say for sure that mom loves him equally as she loves me, and the same goes for Drew’s father; he treats me well, just like his own child.
I don’t wish for my biological father to find his way back into our lives. She left mom while she was pregnant with me at the age of eighteen. I can’t forget how difficult it was for Mom to raise me.
While I was growing, she had a lot of part-time jobs just so she could give me whatever I asked for. Before, she met Drew’s father five years ago, and he brought a lot of happiness into our lives. I’m happy for her now that she has all the time to enjoy herself with her lovely husband while traveling around the world since Drew’s father is the second richest man in country A.
I get jealous of my mom sometimes. Don’t blame me for that. I said so because of the way she talks and talks about how happy she was and how he has been pampering and spending on her. Without saying it, the evidence is crystal clear because of the luxurious things she always brought back. There was a time she traveled to France and came back with a lot of Hermes and Gucci bags, shoes, and a scarf, which I thought was for her boutique, but hell no, it was for her personal use. I do wish I had someone to love me, just as mom found love; dad opened a boutique for her, but her manager has always been the one in charge because mom has to follow dad on every business trip as his companion. I need to talk to Drew to know if we are picking up our parents from the airport or if their chauffer is the one picking them up. We We asked him to stop coming since our parents went on a long business trip and went on vacation. So I decided to walk to the study to talk to him, though I’m trying my best to avoid any conversation with him. He. He has been on Zoom meetings since morning since he’s the vice president of the S&A group of companies, and I really appreciate the fact that he made breakfast for me this morning.
I can’t help blushing when I remember the note attached to the breakfast he made me: “Sweetheart, please, please, I’m sorry, sorry, forgive me, Rissa. Rissa.” These are the words written on the note with a beautiful and neat stroke.
I can’t help but clutch it to my heart tightly. . I wanted to go back to my room, but decided against it. it.
……..……..……..
Clarissa wanted to go straight back to her room, but since Drew asked, she decided to change her mind and had to meet him in the study to settle their misunderstanding. She She knocked on the door, but there was no reply.
Opening the door, she poked her head in. The study was spacious. There was a lounge with a bed and a wardrobe.
Drew sat on the swivel chair and was typing on the keyboard with his slender fingers. Clarissa stood rooted at the door, letting her imagination run wild.
She was daydreaming of being pinned down by Drew on the study table or being in Drew's arms on the big bed in the lounge. Drew noticed her daydreaming but decided to keep quiet to avoid embarrassing her. She She quickly came out of her trance and took a seat on the three-seat cushion chair. The The room became awkward, but Drew still continued typing on his keyboard. Five minutes later, he stood up and coughed to relieve the awkwardness in the room before Clarissa spoke, saying, ‘Thank you for the breakfast; it’s delicious; I really enjoyed it.“
"You are welcome." Drew's sweet and deep voice sounded above her head. Hearing his voice, a blush crept out of Clarissa’s face, but she quickly covered it before Drew could see her red face. ‘Rissa I’m sorry for how I treated you the other time. Please, just forgive me. I know what I said was wrong, sis. I don’t want mom and dad to be unhappy with us when they come back, and I’m uncomfortable that my sister is avoiding me. I’m finding it more difficult to keep calm. Tell me anything you want, and I will gladly do it for you. Drew said, ‘Let’s celebrate your birthday this year just you and me,’ said Clarissa!!!!!. Drew was shocked by Clarissa's reply that he has stopped celebrating his birthday since he was eight when one of their maids called him a jinx who killed his mother.
That was when he learned his mother passed away during his birth because his dad had already made him believe his mom traveled, and now Clarissa is asking him to do the impossible. ‘Okay’ was the reply he gave, which gave her a shock; she was not expecting him to agree so easily.
Before she came out of her trance, Drew lips were on her lips; sweet and warm his lips were as they brushed hers. The kiss has great power because within seconds it had Clarissa moaning out, as she could not believe Drew would take the initiative to kiss her, and he was responding to that by holding her tighter and gently prying her lips open.
He was dominating the kiss. He twined their tongues together, encouraging hers to come and play with his. Clarissa made a move by tiptoeing; she pulled her arms behind his neck, bringing her body closer so that even air couldn't pass through them. She was brushing her breasts on his chest through the layers of clothes. He had moved down the length of her back, trying to pull her clothes, but he couldn't fuck, he muttered before letting her go. Clarissa was looking at his eyes now, and it looked like he was battling with something as he was holding her wrist. There was a troubled expression on his face: “Rissa." He was still planning how to say what he wanted to say before Clarissa cut him off. “Don't fucking tell me you want to apologize? Let’s just pretend it never happens; we are both adults. When is Mom and Dad's flight arriving?? Are we eating out or a home-cooked meal?” He was shocked by what Clarissa said but answered her question: ‘Their flight is arriving at six thirty PM, and we will eat at our new restaurant’ Drew replied. "Okay,” she replied, and she stormed out of the study.

Drew.
I slumped on the sofa and sighed, wiping my face with my palm. What have you done to me?
I remembered how she was brushing her breasts against my chest just a few minutes ago. The way she looks and the sound of her low voice all had such an impact on me that I don’t even know when I will answer okay to her request about celebrating my birthday. I have no idea when I kiss her.
I can no longer deny the sexual tension between us. I want her so bad, and I know she also wants me. I would have done more than kiss her if she was wearing any of her provocative home wear. I muttered fuck when realization dawned on me. Only God knows what I would’ve done if her clothes didn’t get in the way. I wanted to apologize to her, but she beat me to it when she said we should pretend nothing happened. Now I have successfully angered her again, but I have to make it up to her. I’m finding it hard to stay calm, so I stood up to go to her room.

I was in my room reprimanding myself for not being able to stay the fuck away from him, and I stood there enjoying his kiss and brushing my boobs on his chest. How can he tell me sorry afterwards? What is he thinking—kissing me first and now planning to say sorry? I pulled my clothes out to take a shower and left with my pants and bra. When I heard a knock on my door, I said,.

So what do you think will happen next?
Thank you, guys, for reading my novel. I love you all.
Once in Drew’s villa, their story of soul bonding begins. Clarissa got out of the dinner gown she wore for the reception and soaked herself in a hot tub.Meanwhile, Drew left for the other room to take his shower. Not long after, Drew came in with a bottle of fruit wine, while Clarissa sat at the dressing table to fix her hair. “Mrs. Walker Drew Clarissa, congratulations on becoming the wife of Mr. Walker Sylvester Drew,” he said, and she giggled. He poured the wine into a glass and handed it over to her.“Congratulations to us, hubby,” she said, and she gulped down her fruit wine before she could say another word. Drew bent down, and she closed her eyes, expecting the man’s kiss, but unfortunately, the kiss didn’t come as the man reached out his hand and carried her in a bridal style off the dressing table stool.“Huff”She gasped, as she wasn't expecting to be picked up.“Wiffy, what are you scared of?”Hearing that syllable from Drew makes Clarissa’s joy double, and she smiles in e
“Warren, merry Christmas! My wife gave birth to a mini-me, and for that, I want to give the whole world a gift enough for them to use to celebrate Christmas. Make an announcement on the company's official website that THE WEDDING OF PRESIDENT WALKER SYLVESTER DREW AND CLARISSA REBECCA WILL TAKE PLACE IN THREE MONTHS TIME," Drew said."Congratulations, young master. I will be there with Linda to see the baby," Warren said with his voice laced with joy."Everybody is seeing the baby; even those ones inside put all their minds, bodies, and souls into taking care of the baby, and Clarissa left me to take care of myself. Nobody asked if I was fine or not. It's interesting now that my family members see me as an outdated man. Thank God Gratia is not here to witness this," Drew thought before going back to the room to break the news of his wedding date to the people who stood by the cradle, watching the newborn with interest."Clarissa, by the time you wake up and see the news tomorrow, how
It was two days after the engagement and two days until Christmas, and it was supposed to be Clarissa’s due date.Clarissa was sitting on the Swiss ball (birthing ball) while carrying out her simple exercises.“Is the baby coming out yet?” Drew asked Clarissa, who had lost count of how many times the man would ask her if the baby was coming yet. Not receiving a reply from Clarissa, Drew took his phone to call the doctor.“It's my wife's due date. Why is the baby not coming out yet?” The doctor chuckled at the other end.“President Drew, every pregnancy is different. The due date is only a rough estimate of when your baby is likely to be born, and, besides, only four percent of women give birth on their due date. You have nothing to worry about, sir. But if you are still not satisfied with my explanation, you can bring Madam to the hospital for a pelvic examination," the doctor explained briefly to the man, who was worried and at the same time eager to meet his child. Rebecca and Aunt
Looking at Linda, who had a frown on her face with the attitude that if you didn’t buy this gown, this is where I would stay, Clarissa felt a headache coming up. “Linda, stop throwing tantrums; you are no longer a baby." Clarissa scolded Linda gently, but the latter refused to bulge. Instead, she looked offended.“Fine, I will buy the gown.” Clarissa finally agreed, and Linda smiled sweetly at her.“Bring the dress and let me see if it will look nice on me," Clarissa said, and Linda winked at the shop assistant, and they quickly took down the dress. She went inside the dressing room, and a shop assistant changed into the dress for Linda to see. The dress was perfect for her, as it was as if they had custom-made it for her.“Wow, beautiful," Linda commented, and she suggested Clarissa have her make-up done to see how beautiful she would look in her new hairstyle and new dress. Clarissa agreed without making a fuss.“I will just give in to whatever she says so we can go home," Clarissa
Clarissa’s due date is approaching. The nursery had already been set up by Drew. He had even made it a habit to visit the nursery every time he’s around to check if there was anything missing. After lunch, Gratia and Clarissa decided to take a walk in the garden.“Aunt, can you please call the old man to get me an ice cream?”, Gratia said, and Clarissa looked at her with a doting smile.“Gratia, stop calling him an old man. He’s your nephew, okay?" Clarissa said.“Yes, Aunty,” she replied.Clarissa touched Gratia's hair. “Good girl”Suddenly, she felt someone staring at her from behind. So she turned her head and saw Drew standing behind her, looking at her with an intense gaze.“Hubby, when did you get here? Were you not supposed to be at the company?”“For as long as you and Gratia have been gossiping about me," Drew came over to her and said. What an embarrassment to be caught red-handed by the person you’ve been talking about with someone.“Hubby, we were just discussing how hand
She kept quiet, not knowing how to continue. Even though she had rehearsed it in her mind for a long time, she still could not bring herself to say it. The sitting room was silent. No one said a word. Everyone was left with their own analysis.Rebecca was only aware Aunt Felicia/Imelda was Walker, but she didn’t know of any other thing.Clarissa already knew Aunt Felicia was either an elder sister to Sylvester or a younger sister. She had always looked at Aunt Felicia closely, and so did Gratia, who had a close resemblance to Sylvester.“Your mother was shot by a stray bullet, and that was the reason why she couldn’t survive on the operating table,” Aunt Felicia blurted out after gathering her courage together. Drew just stood quietly, staring a dagger at Aunt Felicia.“The reason she died was because of me. If I had protected her well and got her to the hospital on time, she would still be alive today, but I couldn’t get her to the hospital on time.”Aunt Felicia closed her eyes mome
