Chapter 8 The Awakening
"Neptune recommended upgrading Atlantis's computer system before reviving Prince David and the others, giving us full control over the ship's systems. With the upgrades complete, Neptune ensures a smoother and more controlled awakening process for the crew." I have mixed emotions, sad for the ones in stasis, but excited to meet them as the sun sets with the computer system upgrade complete. Neptune, having successfully infiltrated Atlantis's computer system, activated the revival sequence. The ship's medical bay came back online, as the cryosleep pods began to thaw, gradually reviving the living occupants. "This will take hours," Thor remarked, after expressing gratitude to Neptune for the upgrades."You're most welcome, Thor." Neptune smiled.
"Welcome to the 23rd century!" I exclaimed. We left him to oversee the Atlantians while we swam back to shore, famished, we gathered around the dinner table. The staff hastened to serve us, as we engaged in a lively discussion about our extraordinary experiences and the thrilling prospects that lay ahead. "What should we do with those who didn't make it?" I asked not knowing their burial protocol."Neptune?" I waited.
"After reviewing the ship logs, I have discovered that the standard procedure is to return the deceased to their home planet in a cargo pod on autopilot," Neptune replied. "Alright, let's prepare them for their return to their homeworld. Add some Island flowers to their chambers as a symbol of our respect and compassion. Whoever receives them will know we treated them with love." I said, "and, delete all logs referencing our world and location, to avoid any potential...unwelcome visitors." "Initiating log edits now," Neptune replied. I mindlinked with our kingdom, asking each family to create a special reef in their honor. Thor had mentioned that flowers were a rare treasure on their homeworld, so this will be a meaningful gesture." After we ate, and I fed my twins, we all gathered to return to Atlantis, each family from my kingdom, swam with us carrying a reef covered with a clear waterproof seal, a grand funeral procession fit for Royalty. Their chambers were opened just long enough to place the reefs and quickly closed so they didn't thaw, as we completed the task.Prince David and the others slowly started to stir, groggily opening their eyes to a familiar sight - the sleek, interior of Atlantis.
As they regain consciousness, Neptune briefs them on their situation. "Welcome back, crew. you've been asleep for centuries. It is the 23rd century now. and you have a new Queen and Crew, Queen Raven Delacroix, and her King Niklaus with her with King Abatrose ruling under him.
All three of us stepped forward, and I carefully helped David to sit up. I ordered for him to have a medical scan and I gave him some water to drink, "Drink it slow my prince" I helped him as he tried to gulp down the water. We have plenty. He sat up slowly dizzy at first. He tried to speak his voice was raspy, "My Grandmother?" he asked. "I'm sorry, she didn't make it." I looked over at the massive amount of pods with reefs. Her pod was closest to us. He wanted to see her so we helped him take his first steps, his legs were wobbly at first but then he gained control. Tears flowed down his cheeks as he gazed at her, she was beautiful her crown adorned her head with great glory. As his hand touched the glass cover of her pod. He spoke some words we had never heard before and then turned to me and kissed my hand with a slow bow, "Thank you, My Queen, you have given them great honor!" I helped him to sit back down. We talked for a long time, and then he felt strong enough to show us his quarters on the ship. It was filled with wonders, he had collected from different worlds. I slowly walked around while Niklaus and Abatrose talked with him. I admired every item every treasure. "DON'T TOUCH THAT ONE!" he ran to me wrapping his arms around me, That's Rivi! my sea Dragon. He touched the pod and it became clear, so we could see inside. She was the most beautiful creature I'd ever seen, with purple, blue, and pink colored iridescent scales and a long flowing tail. She looked like a small dragon but with long seaweed-like fins and four legs, sharp claws, and fangs. "If she doesn't know you, she can be deadly!." he explained. Her Venum is lethal, and she'd bust through that glass to protect me." he explained, his arms still around me as I felt my body being flooded with love, and an instant connection!Chapter 9 Goodnight The realization hit me like a ton of bricks! Despite his youthful appearance, I knew he must be thousands of years old, older than all of us. As an Atlantian, he was an Immortal, just like we were. He whispered in my ear, "You're my mate!" I nodded, my mind racing. I reached out to him through our private mindlink, *We need to talk, I have two other mates.* He responded, *I know, my Queen. This is our way. I am third in the hierarchy.* He sent a shiver down my spine as he kissed my neck. *You will retain your title as Prince David. We'll talk later* I replied, my mind still reeling from this new development. The world he once knew was gone, and all he had left was me and Atlantis! I felt my heart reaching out to him in a gentle caress. I touched my bracelet to see what our future held, it showed me all of us together smiling as one big happy family, this put my mind at ease.Niklaus smiled as he approached, his eyes shining with knowing. "Hello, Prince David,"
Chapter 10 Siren Song As we gathered around the breakfast table, a familiar scene unfolded. Abatrose entered with his companions, his eyes locking onto mine. He approached me with a gentle smile, his lips brushing against mine in a tender morning kiss. I cherished these intimate moments, and my heart skipped a beat as he whispered in my ear, 'I'm okay with it, but he can't mate with you before I do.' His words sent a flutter through me, as he took his seat to my right, leaving me blushing. I caught Niklaus's knowing grin, and I sensed that the two of them had shared a conversation about this the night before. Their subtle exchange was telling, I already had a deep understanding of their unspoken dynamics. "Just as I was about to begin my morning address, Prince David made a surprise entrance, his smile radiating warmth. He strode over to me, his lips grazing mine in a gentle kiss that left the room abuzz. Niklaus and Abatrose, however, seemed unfazed, suggesting they had prior knowle
Chapter 11 My Time with AbatroseDavid's eyes blazed with a fierce intensity as he struggled against Abatrose's unyielding grasp. "You're not even tempted?" he spat, his voice laced with disbelief. "She's a queen, a goddess! How can you resist her charms?"Abatrose's expression remained impassive, his voice low and steady. "My duty is to serve, not to succumb to desire. Besides, David, you know as well as I that King Niklaus will not be pleased if we interrupt their...mating"David snarled, his face twisting in anguish. "You're enjoying this, aren't you? Watching me squirm, seeing me burn with desire for her!"Abatrose's gaze remained unyielding, his eyes glinting like ice in the sunlight. "I am merely doing my duty, David. Nothing more, nothing less." The two men stood locked in a silent struggle, their eyes fixed on each other. David's voice was low and husky, his words dripping with frustration. "What's stopping you, Abatrose? Why do you deny yourself?" Abatrose's response was calm
Chapter 12 Ocean Mating Dance With the delicious meal savored and the twins fed, Aunt Aurora was now gently rocking Abigail and Oliver to sleep with a soothing bedtime story. Abatrose and I decided to take a leisurely stroll along the moonlit beach, the sound of the waves caressing the shore. As we walked hand in hand, Abatrose's eyes gleamed with desire and affection. "I have dreamed of this moment for so long," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion. "Our first time together, finally here. I have imagined every detail, every touch, every kiss." His words sent shivers down my spine, and I knew that this night would be treasured forever."Tell me," I whispered, my voice barely audible over the sound of the waves.Abatrose's gaze intensified, his eyes burning with passion. "I dreamed of taking my time, of savoring every moment," he whispered back, his lips inches from mine. "I dreamed of feeling your skin beneath my fingers, of tasting the sweetness of your lips. I dreamed of mak

My heart raced with excitement as I eagerly awaited his return. As soon as he landed, I flew into his embrace, wrapping my arms around him tightly. He laughed, his eyes shining with joy, and held me close, his lips claiming mine in a passionate kiss."I have missed you, my Queen," he whispered, his voice filled with love and adoration, as he effortlessly swept me up into his arms and carried me into our palace. Our security team looked up from their seats in the meeting room, their faces stern but their eyes hinting at smiles. "Who's your informant? You weren't here when we found Atlantis someone had to tell you, who was it? Have you noticed that I don't care if you know that we found it, it's because you are not leaving here alive. Now we do have an alternative offer. You tell us who informed you and we will wipe your mind of all of us, leaving you before you even met Kie, that way you might be able to get your son back." That's when she looked up with tears in her eyes. "D-Do you know where they are keeping him? Is he ok?" she begged with tears in her eyes. Sam smiled, "We are not the monsters you think we are. Your son is as good as can be expected, of course, he wants you. but he hasn't been harmed." Sam said. "D-Do you have him?" she asked. "No, we don't kidnap kids!" Sam said defensively "But I do know who has
Chapter 15 We Got Him! They've settled Nadia in, and given her a new name, 'Beth', I said to myself, still trying to process the turn of events, and with the DNA fusion, she's now one of us. Niklaus, Sam, and our security team were preparing to leave on a mission to rescue Beth's son, William, who everyone had been compelled to believe that he was at summer camp. "Stay safe!" I called out as they dove into the ocean they would wait just offshore watching until the time was right, 'The Order' was a very powerful organization their security was low. No one in their right mind would try to break into their organization. I giggled. but they didn't know us, did they? With the excitement of the morning fading, I headed to our second island to begin planting. Brent was already there, helping me build a barn for our new animals. "It's going to be a busy day," I said to him, smiling.Just then, David showed up to lend a hand. "Hey, I brought some exotic plants that produce delicious fruit," h
Chapter 16 Transformation of Atlantis As I guided Beth to her new home, a charming cottage overflowing with warmth and generosity, her eyes widened with gratitude. The island community had come together to create a haven for her and William, furnishing the cozy abode with an array of thoughtful donations: soft blankets, crisp linens, and essential kitchenware. Every detail, from the vibrant flowers on the table to the plush toys scattered about, whispered a sense of belonging. As she embraced William tightly, I smiled, my heart full of joy. "We gather at the Palace for our evening meal," I said, "Our time to weave our stories together, and strengthen the bonds of our community." With my gentle compulsion, Beth and William believed they had lived on our island all their lives, their memories seamlessly woven into the fabric of our community. As they settled into their new home, I couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and belonging. Our island was more than just a refuge – it was a fam
