Chapter 7 The Move to Safety
"Thor show me what I need to do to pilot the ship," Niklaus and I observed, following him as he moved around.
"My queen, place your hand here", he pointed to the Throne seat, and next to it was a scanner pad, curved to match my hand, Like a throttle stick. "What's this for?" I asked "Warp drive, my queen" I quickly removed my hand in a panic, my heart skipped a beat. Niklaus found it amusing and chuckled. "Thor, why do you call me your Queen?"I asked as I sat on the throne seat. Thor's expression turned serious, "Your DNA holds the markers of the ancient ones, the rulers of the planet Xanthea. You are the last living female heir of the royal family onboard." "And who are the others in the chambers?" "They are the ship's crew and staff and one grandchild of the late Queen, Prince David." "But isn't David the next in line for the crown?" "No My Queen, he is male." he looked at me with a puzzled look and continued, "Only females can rule over their harem and ship, what you call a city." "We must hurry My Queen, The ship's controls are linked to the pilot's thoughts," Thor explained, his hands moving across the console. "Concentrate on the navigation charts, and the ship will follow your commands." I closed my eyes and focused on the charts, and suddenly, the ship's systems roared to life... "Forward View on-screen!" I said, now we can see outside, I smiled. Niklaus sat in the chair next to mine and Thor announced "First Mate!" as he registered Niklaus as my First mate. Niklaus had a huge grin, "Yep, I was her First mate!" We all busted out laughing, Thor looked puzzled but that's ok, inside joke.I accessed the ship's intercom system and announced, "I am attempting to move the ship just off our shores," I informed them through the intercom system. "It needs solar power to recharge. We need to let it recharge, so we can safely open their hibernation chambers. Hold tight, this may be a bumpy ride!" I had never flown anything before, but their lives depended on me. I had to try.
*I'm coming, I can help,* Sam, a seasoned pilot with a wealth of experience in helicopter warfare, rushed to my side. "Wow, mind control? That's incredible!" he exclaimed, his eyes wide with amazement. I couldn't help but laugh at his enthusiasm. Thor, sensing my need for assistance, chimed in, "Just provide the coordinates, and the ship will chart a course. Then, simply command it to 'rise' or 'dive' to control its altitude." "Thor, can Sam pilot the ship?" I questioned him, "Sam is your Chief Navigator, my Queen?" Thor asked, and I winked at Sam, who grinned. "He is!" I confirmed. "Entering him into the system now, your handprint please, Sir!" he held out his pad, and Sam placed his hand on it, looking both nervous and thrilled. "Now it's all up to you, Sam!" I teased, chuckling. "You did ask Kie about a new high-tech ride, a year ago!" We both laughed, and Sam's smile grew wider, like a kid on Christmas morning. Thor showed Sam his place on the Bridge and he quickly got to work "Here we go!" Sam said with a chuckle, his hands moving with precision over the controls. The ship glided smoothly through the waters, its massive form casting a shadow on the ocean floor. As we approached the coast. "Neptune, raise our Island shields, set it to camouflage, but let in the UV rays. Sam is bringing Atlantis up just off of our shores we are almost there." I said as Sam maneuvered us in place, "Ok, now Neptune!" "Shield is in place!" Neptune replied. I could see the sun glinting off the water just above us, a perfect day for harnessing solar energy. "Alright, rise to just above the waves and lock in position," I said, my eyes fixed on the ship's observation windows. The vessel obeyed, floating steadily on the waves. Thor nodded in approval. "Now, let's get her charging. We'll have her fully powered up in no time." With a hum, the ship's solar panels extended, drinking in the sun's rays as we basked in the warm glow of our successful mission. I high-fived Sam "Good job, Chief Navigator!" I said smiling. "I could get used to that Title!" he said giving me a huge hug, "We did it!" We could see our kingdom's islanders on the beach watching with wonder at this magnificent ship.We had decided to bring her up just off of our shores so we could have quick access to her but keep her camouflaged from view, keeping all world satellites from spotting her.
Then I remembered, "David," "Thor, bring me to to him now!" Niklaus, Sam, and I, quickly followed him we entered what appeared to be an elevator but it also moved sideways. *Abatrose, where are you?" I asked almost running, *It won't let me in my Handprint won't work* he sounded frustrated. * I'm on my way now* It was two floors down and on the front wing and then I saw him trying his best to enter, "Here let me try!" The door opened immediately. "The late Queen's grandson is in here somewhere, Thor, I give you permission to enter!" He went straight to the console and started pushing symbols and all of the chambers started to move about, one was brought forth, "This is Prince David." he said as he stepped aside for me to see him. I wiped the dusty glass so I could see him. Then I saw his sweet face, He was young and looked to be in his early twenties, he was beautiful. "What do I do?" I asked still staring at him, I felt Abatrose's hand on mine as he led it to the pad. I hesitated. I looked at him with tears in my eyes, "He's gonna wake up to find out that most everyone he knew has passed on." I gazed at him with sorrow. "Abatrose He's gonna need you! You share the knowledge of his people." He nodded still staring at David. waiting...Chapter 8 The Awakening "Neptune recommended upgrading Atlantis's computer system before reviving Prince David and the others, giving us full control over the ship's systems. With the upgrades complete, Neptune ensures a smoother and more controlled awakening process for the crew." I have mixed emotions, sad for the ones in stasis, but excited to meet them as the sun sets with the computer system upgrade complete. Neptune, having successfully infiltrated Atlantis's computer system, activated the revival sequence. The ship's medical bay came back online, as the cryosleep pods began to thaw, gradually reviving the living occupants. "This will take hours," Thor remarked, after expressing gratitude to Neptune for the upgrades."You're most welcome, Thor." Neptune smiled. "Welcome to the 23rd century!" I exclaimed. We left him to oversee the Atlantians while we swam back to shore, famished, we gathered around the dinner table. The staff hastened to serve us, as we engaged in a lively di
Chapter 9 Goodnight The realization hit me like a ton of bricks! Despite his youthful appearance, I knew he must be thousands of years old, older than all of us. As an Atlantian, he was an Immortal, just like we were. He whispered in my ear, "You're my mate!" I nodded, my mind racing. I reached out to him through our private mindlink, *We need to talk, I have two other mates.* He responded, *I know, my Queen. This is our way. I am third in the hierarchy.* He sent a shiver down my spine as he kissed my neck. *You will retain your title as Prince David. We'll talk later* I replied, my mind still reeling from this new development. The world he once knew was gone, and all he had left was me and Atlantis! I felt my heart reaching out to him in a gentle caress. I touched my bracelet to see what our future held, it showed me all of us together smiling as one big happy family, this put my mind at ease.Niklaus smiled as he approached, his eyes shining with knowing. "Hello, Prince David,"
Chapter 10 Siren Song As we gathered around the breakfast table, a familiar scene unfolded. Abatrose entered with his companions, his eyes locking onto mine. He approached me with a gentle smile, his lips brushing against mine in a tender morning kiss. I cherished these intimate moments, and my heart skipped a beat as he whispered in my ear, 'I'm okay with it, but he can't mate with you before I do.' His words sent a flutter through me, as he took his seat to my right, leaving me blushing. I caught Niklaus's knowing grin, and I sensed that the two of them had shared a conversation about this the night before. Their subtle exchange was telling, I already had a deep understanding of their unspoken dynamics. "Just as I was about to begin my morning address, Prince David made a surprise entrance, his smile radiating warmth. He strode over to me, his lips grazing mine in a gentle kiss that left the room abuzz. Niklaus and Abatrose, however, seemed unfazed, suggesting they had prior knowle
Chapter 11 My Time with AbatroseDavid's eyes blazed with a fierce intensity as he struggled against Abatrose's unyielding grasp. "You're not even tempted?" he spat, his voice laced with disbelief. "She's a queen, a goddess! How can you resist her charms?"Abatrose's expression remained impassive, his voice low and steady. "My duty is to serve, not to succumb to desire. Besides, David, you know as well as I that King Niklaus will not be pleased if we interrupt their...mating"David snarled, his face twisting in anguish. "You're enjoying this, aren't you? Watching me squirm, seeing me burn with desire for her!"Abatrose's gaze remained unyielding, his eyes glinting like ice in the sunlight. "I am merely doing my duty, David. Nothing more, nothing less." The two men stood locked in a silent struggle, their eyes fixed on each other. David's voice was low and husky, his words dripping with frustration. "What's stopping you, Abatrose? Why do you deny yourself?" Abatrose's response was calm
Chapter 12 Ocean Mating Dance With the delicious meal savored and the twins fed, Aunt Aurora was now gently rocking Abigail and Oliver to sleep with a soothing bedtime story. Abatrose and I decided to take a leisurely stroll along the moonlit beach, the sound of the waves caressing the shore. As we walked hand in hand, Abatrose's eyes gleamed with desire and affection. "I have dreamed of this moment for so long," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion. "Our first time together, finally here. I have imagined every detail, every touch, every kiss." His words sent shivers down my spine, and I knew that this night would be treasured forever."Tell me," I whispered, my voice barely audible over the sound of the waves.Abatrose's gaze intensified, his eyes burning with passion. "I dreamed of taking my time, of savoring every moment," he whispered back, his lips inches from mine. "I dreamed of feeling your skin beneath my fingers, of tasting the sweetness of your lips. I dreamed of mak

He settled in, his eyes locking onto mine befo
Chapter 14 The Interrogation In the Interrogation room, Sam begins.. "You know Niklaus will kill you for what you have done, You put his Family at risk! That's a guaranteed death wish. "Who's your informant? You weren't here when we found Atlantis someone had to tell you, who was it? Have you noticed that I don't care if you know that we found it, it's because you are not leaving here alive. Now we do have an alternative offer. You tell us who informed you and we will wipe your mind of all of us, leaving you before you even met Kie, that way you might be able to get your son back." That's when she looked up with tears in her eyes. "D-Do you know where they are keeping him? Is he ok?" she begged with tears in her eyes. Sam smiled, "We are not the monsters you think we are. Your son is as good as can be expected, of course, he wants you. but he hasn't been harmed." Sam said. "D-Do you have him?" she asked. "No, we don't kidnap kids!" Sam said defensively "But I do know who has
Chapter 15 We Got Him! They've settled Nadia in, and given her a new name, 'Beth', I said to myself, still trying to process the turn of events, and with the DNA fusion, she's now one of us. Niklaus, Sam, and our security team were preparing to leave on a mission to rescue Beth's son, William, who everyone had been compelled to believe that he was at summer camp. "Stay safe!" I called out as they dove into the ocean they would wait just offshore watching until the time was right, 'The Order' was a very powerful organization their security was low. No one in their right mind would try to break into their organization. I giggled. but they didn't know us, did they? With the excitement of the morning fading, I headed to our second island to begin planting. Brent was already there, helping me build a barn for our new animals. "It's going to be a busy day," I said to him, smiling.Just then, David showed up to lend a hand. "Hey, I brought some exotic plants that produce delicious fruit," h
