Chapter 3 The Kiss
"Neptune, can you tap into their underwater body cameras ?" I asked as Niklaus and I watched her screen flicker and then we saw all four cameras on Neptune's monitor. We could see Abatrose, his men, and Teianna swimming ahead of them, the power in their strokes was impressive their speed was incredibly fast. I mindlinked with them *How's it going* I asked. Kie was the first to answer, *It's cold at these depths, but Abatrose says we're almost there* We waited with bated breath and then we saw her! She was majestic and beautiful in her glory. We watched in awe as they swam up to her, Abatrose was right she was massive! But beautiful! *Abatrose what is that color?" What is the ship made of?" *It's of extraterrestrial origin, my Queen,* Abatrose replied, his voice filled with wonder. *The color adapts to its surroundings, allowing it to blend in. We only discovered it by chance, as it was fully camouflaged initially. Now, its cloaking ability is faltering.**We're not sure why* he explained. there was some flickering on the screen. *Why are the cameras acting up?* I asked, growing concerned for their safety.
*It's interference from the ship's protective barrier.* he said. I issued a swift command. *Get a clear shot of the door and hand lock, then return immediately, I don't like this* We saw the door come into view, we were struck by its size as if designed for a giant. Yet, the hand lock seemed surprisingly normal, proportioned for our own size. The screen flickered wildly, and I turned to Neptune. "Can you filter out the video noise?" I asked."I'll try," Neptune responded, her processors humming. "I have access to off-world data storage, which might aid in our analysis. I'll attempt to retrieve relevant information on the locking device."
My eyes widened in surprise at Neptune's revelation, and I leaned in, eager to learn more. "Go ahead, Neptune. See what you can uncover."Neptune's processors hummed as she delved deeper into the data. "It appears this locking device is widely used throughout the Orion Galaxy." Somehow this information didn't surprise me. I had always suspected that our planet's ancient cultures had been influenced by Orion's civilizations.
"Do you think Atlantis was from that galaxy?" I asked, my curiosity piqued.
Neptune's response was measured. "I'm not convinced of that. They may have acquired the locking device through trade or other means. The cloaking ability, however, suggests a different origin altogether." Her words only added to the mystery, and I felt myself drawn deeper into the enigma of the ancient ship.
I noticed that Niklaus was not with me "Neptune, locate Niklaus" "He is sleeping next to the twin's bassinet," she replied. I walked upstairs to check on them and they were indeed fast asleep. With nothing else to do, I decided to take a stroll to the shoreline to greet the others as they returned. As I walked, I saw Kie and Leilani emerge from the water first, laughing and chatting. Then Brent and Naki followed, their faces beaming with excitement. Finally, Abatrose emerged from the waves, his piercing jade-green eyes with gold flecks fixed intently on me. His powerful physique and massive muscles were evident even from a distance. Standing at 6'5" with a commanding stride, he exuded authority and power. His full lips seemed to beckon me to kiss them, and his long, dirty blonde hair flowed down his back like a golden mane.
As the others bid us goodnight and headed home, Abatrose joined me on my walk, his smile warm and endearing. "You look stunning tonight, my Queen," he said, his eyes shining with sincerity.I smiled, feeling a flutter in my chest. "Thanks," I replied, our footsteps synchronizing as we strolled.
"I'm glad we have a chance to talk," he said, "there's something I've been meaning to discuss with you."
We entered the cabana, and I settled into the familiar comfort of my old front porch swing from Nola. The gentle sway and the ocean breeze carrying the sweet scent of tropical flowers created a serene ambiance.
As we sat together, the swing creaking softly, I turned to Abatrose and asked, "What's on your mind?"
I asked in a whisper, unaware that I was tapping into my siren voice. Abatrose's eyes shifted colors as he leaned in, his whisper sending shivers down my spine. "I love you, Raven."I watched, entranced, as his lips formed the words. Before I knew it, I was savoring their taste, sweet and delicious. He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into his lap, and that's when it happened – the mate bond kicked in it was like a power rush of pure love that hits you hard.
I whispered, "Mate!" Abatrose echoed my words, his voice barely audible. "Mate!" In that moment, our connection was sealed, our love binding us together with an unbreakable bond. I pulled away, my thoughts racing to Niklaus. "I can't do this right now," I said, a hint of panic in my voice. "I need to talk to him."Abatrose's smile was reassuring. "It's going to be okay, love. Niklaus isn't a jealous man. He understands what it means to have a Siren as a wife. I've seen our future, and we're all happy and content together. I would never come between you and your King, my love."
His words soothed my heart, but I needed to confirm it with Niklaus, my King and the love of my life. I needed to hear it from his lips, to ensure that our bond was secure and that he was willing to accept this new aspect of our relationship.
"I understand my Queen," Abatrose said, his voice gentle as he placed me back on the swing. He stood up, bowed to me, and smiled, "Thank you for the kiss I will have something to dream about tonight" his eyes shined. His smile, alluring. He lingered for a short time, then turned and walked away. I watched, entranced, as he dove into the ocean, his powerful physique disappearing into the waves. The moonlight danced across the waves rushing to our shores. . I could still taste his kiss on my lips, and my thoughts wondered....Chapter 4 Love Knows No Boundaries I entered our home, my heart and mind still reeling from my encounter with Abatrose. The connection we shared was undeniable, and I couldn't help but wonder what the future held for us. I sat down on the edge of our bed, my thoughts a jumbled mix of emotions. Niklaus watched me closely, his eyes filled with understanding. "Is this about Abatrose?" he asked, his voice gentle. He knew me too well, and I nodded slowly, still searching for the right words to begin. Niklaus pulled me into bed, holding me close as we snuggled together. He kissed me tenderly, his words filled with devotion. "I love you, and I will forever love you, you are my mate and my Queen!" Tears streamed down my face as he spoke, his understanding and acceptance overwhelming me."It's okay, love," he continued, his voice gentle. "I don't expect you to be something you're not. You're a Siren, and sirens engage in polyamorous relationships. It doesn't mean you'll love me any less, it j
Chapter 5 100 PercentTaianna had arrived early to have breakfast with us. She loved my cinnamon pancakes. I drank my coffee watching her. "So daddy says we are family now, like a real family." I shook my head 'yes' still sipping and smiling at her I knew where this was going.. "So, is it ok to call you Mom now?" she asked. I was on the brink of tears. I went to her and held her tight, "Yes sweetheart you may call me Mom!" "I knew this would happen, the first time I saw you, my bracelet showed me, the night of the Hurricane, when I was trapped in your shield. I tried to tell Daddy but he wouldn't listen," she giggled. "He listens now!" The look on her face made me smile. "Yes, I remember" he made us submerge our Island thinking he was coming for war!" we both giggled.I heard Lucas come in for his coffee and our first Chamber procedures of the day, Taianna wanted to watch she wanted to try it also. As Lucas finished his coffee, he stepped onto the platform. Neptune activated the d
Chapter 6 Powered Up with a New Queen in Place As the doors slid open, a rush of stale air hit us. We were all masked up, but even just cracking the door seemed to bring the entire ship online. "Neptune, are you seeing this?" I asked."Affirmative," Neptune responded. "I'm running an air analysis now... and it's coming back safe. You may remove your masks." We hesitated for a moment, then pulled them off, our eyes widening as we peered inside. The sight took our breath away. Abatrose attempted to step forward, but I held him back. "Not yet, love," I cautioned. "Neptune, scan for life signs.""There are two thousand life forms on board, out of those only twenty-five are still alive," we all stare at each other in shock. "Neptune, locate the living Life forms, please," I said with a shaky voice. "They are all in hibernation chambers in the medical wing of the ship," she informed me. "Can you access the ship's computers?" I asked hopeful. "'I can not access the computers without au
Chapter 7 The Move to Safety"Thor show me what I need to do to pilot the ship," Niklaus and I observed, following him as he moved around. "My queen, place your hand here", he pointed to the Throne seat, and next to it was a scanner pad, curved to match my hand, Like a throttle stick. "What's this for?" I asked "Warp drive, my queen" I quickly removed my hand in a panic, my heart skipped a beat. Niklaus found it amusing and chuckled. "Thor, why do you call me your Queen?"I asked as I sat on the throne seat. Thor's expression turned serious, "Your DNA holds the markers of the ancient ones, the rulers of the planet Xanthea. You are the last living female heir of the royal family onboard." "And who are the others in the chambers?" "They are the ship's crew and staff and one grandchild of the late Queen, Prince David." "But isn't David the next in line for the crown?" "No My Queen, he is male." he looked at me with a puzzled look and continued, "Only females can rule over their
Chapter 8 The Awakening "Neptune recommended upgrading Atlantis's computer system before reviving Prince David and the others, giving us full control over the ship's systems. With the upgrades complete, Neptune ensures a smoother and more controlled awakening process for the crew." I have mixed emotions, sad for the ones in stasis, but excited to meet them as the sun sets with the computer system upgrade complete. Neptune, having successfully infiltrated Atlantis's computer system, activated the revival sequence. The ship's medical bay came back online, as the cryosleep pods began to thaw, gradually reviving the living occupants. "This will take hours," Thor remarked, after expressing gratitude to Neptune for the upgrades."You're most welcome, Thor." Neptune smiled. "Welcome to the 23rd century!" I exclaimed. We left him to oversee the Atlantians while we swam back to shore, famished, we gathered around the dinner table. The staff hastened to serve us, as we engaged in a lively di
Chapter 9 Goodnight The realization hit me like a ton of bricks! Despite his youthful appearance, I knew he must be thousands of years old, older than all of us. As an Atlantian, he was an Immortal, just like we were. He whispered in my ear, "You're my mate!" I nodded, my mind racing. I reached out to him through our private mindlink, *We need to talk, I have two other mates.* He responded, *I know, my Queen. This is our way. I am third in the hierarchy.* He sent a shiver down my spine as he kissed my neck. *You will retain your title as Prince David. We'll talk later* I replied, my mind still reeling from this new development. The world he once knew was gone, and all he had left was me and Atlantis! I felt my heart reaching out to him in a gentle caress. I touched my bracelet to see what our future held, it showed me all of us together smiling as one big happy family, this put my mind at ease.Niklaus smiled as he approached, his eyes shining with knowing. "Hello, Prince David,"
Chapter 10 Siren Song As we gathered around the breakfast table, a familiar scene unfolded. Abatrose entered with his companions, his eyes locking onto mine. He approached me with a gentle smile, his lips brushing against mine in a tender morning kiss. I cherished these intimate moments, and my heart skipped a beat as he whispered in my ear, 'I'm okay with it, but he can't mate with you before I do.' His words sent a flutter through me, as he took his seat to my right, leaving me blushing. I caught Niklaus's knowing grin, and I sensed that the two of them had shared a conversation about this the night before. Their subtle exchange was telling, I already had a deep understanding of their unspoken dynamics. "Just as I was about to begin my morning address, Prince David made a surprise entrance, his smile radiating warmth. He strode over to me, his lips grazing mine in a gentle kiss that left the room abuzz. Niklaus and Abatrose, however, seemed unfazed, suggesting they had prior knowle
Chapter 11 My Time with AbatroseDavid's eyes blazed with a fierce intensity as he struggled against Abatrose's unyielding grasp. "You're not even tempted?" he spat, his voice laced with disbelief. "She's a queen, a goddess! How can you resist her charms?"Abatrose's expression remained impassive, his voice low and steady. "My duty is to serve, not to succumb to desire. Besides, David, you know as well as I that King Niklaus will not be pleased if we interrupt their...mating"David snarled, his face twisting in anguish. "You're enjoying this, aren't you? Watching me squirm, seeing me burn with desire for her!"Abatrose's gaze remained unyielding, his eyes glinting like ice in the sunlight. "I am merely doing my duty, David. Nothing more, nothing less." The two men stood locked in a silent struggle, their eyes fixed on each other. David's voice was low and husky, his words dripping with frustration. "What's stopping you, Abatrose? Why do you deny yourself?" Abatrose's response was calm
