Chapter Eighty Six
Millie’s Point of View
I stayed quiet as Cole drove the car through town. It’s so upsetting that an amazingly special day like today, the day we bring our baby boy home, is almost ruined by what happened last night. I can’t believe that Cole was keeping something like this a secret from me.
A fucking Serial killer!? Really?
I looked over at my Fiance in the driver's seat. He was focused on the road, but I could tell he was trying to get into my mind and find out what I was thinking about.
‘Stay out of my mind’. I warned him bluntly.
‘Sorry, I just wanna make sure you’re ok’. I took a deep breath, I really didn’t want this day
Chapter Eighty Seven When we pulled up at the house, I was so glad to see everyone’s cars and no one waiting outside for us. Getting out, Cole went straight to the backseat and unlocked the baby. I watched him and then we headed into the house together. It was strangely quiet. Walking down to the living room, Everyone was in there, Cole’s mum, Mum, Dad, Chris, His Husband, Constantine and Kenna and Maggie, They were talking among themselves, not realising I had come into the room. I cleared my throat, trying to get everyone's attention. It worked. They all turned to look at me, Waiting for what the big surprise was. ‘Thanks for coming everyone’.
Chapter Eighty Eight *** A couple of Weeks Later*** I came bouncing down the stairs and headed towards Cole’s study. I knew he would be there, working. My parents had decided to take the children for a couple of days, to give me and Cole some alone time and to bond with Orian and to spoil Maggie. She wasn’t getting upset, but you could just tell that she was a little down sometimes when people would pay lots of attention to the baby and maybe not as much as we should to her. She understands that a baby NEEDS extra attention, but we really need to remember that it’s probably hard for her, going from being the only child for hundreds of years to suddenly having a baby brother. She adores him,
Chapter Eighty Nine Ginny’s Point of View Maggie was up in her room, I wasn’t sure what she was doing, but she was being good and quiet, so, I can’t really complain. I had to remember sometimes that she’s NOT a child and therefore could be trusted to be left alone without needing to worry. Kane was currently having cuddles with Orian in the garden and I was making him a bottle. I remember making these for Millie back when she was a baby, A human baby. Of course, she could eat normal things or drink blood. Screwing the lid on the bottle, I walked out the back doors and into the sunshine where my husband and grandson were sitting. Grandson. That's so strange.
Chapter Ninety ***A Few Months Later*** The house was full of family members and friends. Thank god we lived in a mansion and were able to make it possible. Sure, Everyone lived quite close to us, but Cole and I wanted everyone important with us the night before our wedding, and they were. It also gives people the last chance to discuss things before they are put to bed completely, just in time for me and Cole to say ‘’I Do’’ and be together forever. ...and forever is a bigger commitment when you’re immortal. I sat down in the dining room and watched some of the family just fuss around. Anyone would think it’s Cole’s mothers wedding with all the panicking she’s doing.
Chapter Ninety One Unknown Female’s Point of View I sat in my room, Staring out of the window into the night. It was so quiet. The silence was enough to drive anyone insane. Tomorrow was the day. The day I was going to put my plan into action and get my family back. I am going to ruin all of their lives, just like they ruined mine. They took me from my home, they took away my innocence… HE took away my life and made me this monster. He took away everything I loved and cared about... And now I’m going to return the favour. Cole Patrova Kane
Chapter Ninety TwoCole’s Point of ViewIt’s only a few hours until the wedding and my nerves hadn’t subsided, I was still shitting myself! Melissa was off somewhere else in the Castle getting ready with her girls, and I was here with my brothers.Millie wanted to get married somewhere special, so we decided to book the place where Kane and Ginny got married. It wasn’t exactly special to me, but it was to her and that’s all that matters.‘How are you feeling?’ I looked up at my brothers and smiled.‘I’m ok’. I really was, but I was ‘’ok’’ mixed with nerves, but I think they knew that. ‘Not long to go’.
Chapter Ninety ThreeCole’s Point of ViewHere I was again, It seems like only yesterday I was standing at the end of an Aisle, Waiting for a bride. Of course, the difference was that that bride was for my brother and now, I was waiting for MINE. My beautiful future was about to walk down in front of me, and I couldn’t wait.Like before, I found myself looking around the room, Chris was sitting on the front row next to My mother and Kenna. Of course, Ginny was walking down before Millie, She was maid of honour, and Kane, being her father, was walking her down the aisle. It was decided that it was better to be Kane than Chris, and Chris didn’t want to make waves. To make up for it, both are going to have a special dance with her at th
Chapter Ninety FourUnknown P.O.VI stood in the shadows watching the pair of newlyweds dance together, In front of all their family and friends. My hatred for them spiked, even more, when I saw Chris standing with a baby in his arms.An actually fucking baby?!In the arms of that monster!?!Who’s was it?I watched a little more, like a predator, stalking its prey. Little do any of them know how vulnerable they are right now, I could go in there and kill them all one-by-one.I didn’t care if I died myself, Nothing will get between me and my prize.
Chapter One Hundred and EightCole’s Point of View‘Right, are we ready?’ I whispered. At the moment, all of us were hidden in the bushes outside, getting ready to attack. ‘3….2….1...go, go, go!’Jumping up, Me, Chris and his brothers decided to tackle the guards while the others made it inside. As soon as we were seen, it was like things went from 0 to 100 in a second, There were many more guards than we first thought, but we were ready.Throwing my first punch, I noticed the others got inside.Thank god!Ginny’s P
Chapter One Hundred and SevenCole’s Point of ViewEveryone was talking among themselves and I decided to take a minute. I wandered over to Chris and asked if I could talk to him for a moment. As soon as we were away from everyone and their ears, I turned and looked at him.‘How are you feeling?’ He nodded.‘I’m good, Don’t worry’.‘Good, I’m glad. Listen... I told Millie about our night together’. His eyes popped open wide. I could already sense his concern. ‘Don’t worry, she’s not going to tell Nick and we worked through it. She’s not going to cause any problems, OK?’
Chapter One Hundred and Six***A Few Days Later***I couldn’t believe it. I mean, Obviously, my ex-wife was alive, I’ve spoken to her, but, I’d only just sort of, Wrapped my head around it and now here we were, sitting opposite each other in a coffee shop.I got here first and waited for her and I can honestly say, The second she walked through the door, I almost SHAT myself. Part of me thought this was all just a complete wind-up and she wasn’t really Corinee, but there she was. Here she was sitting.It. Was. Corinee.‘So, Are you going to speak? You were the one who wanted to meet me’. She spoke first, her voice tugged on old heartstrings, but that
Chapter One Hundred and FiveI dropped Chris off at my house so that he can relax and get a bit better before I take him home to Nick. Nick was still pretty poorly himself, I didn’t want him to have to worry or deal with Chris when he should be focusing on his own health. I text Nick to say that Chris would be home that evening or the next morning.Sighing, I got back into my car and headed towards Kane and Ginny’s House. I need to try and save my marriage now everything is going back on track.I need my baby girl and son home with me.Something I realised on the way over to my brother's house to see my wife is that Orian was going to be one In less than 3 months. I’ve missed so much of his first year already, I didn’t want to
Chapter One Hundred and Four‘Wow, You actually remembered my name, I’m shocked’. I just couldn’t believe this. Was this actually.. Seriously happening? She was dead… She died. I know she did. I sold her and her new master worked her to death. I was told this.. I-I knew this. ‘Are you actually stuck for words?’It was strange to hear so much hate in her voice, she was always such a sweet, happy girl... Now venom dripped from every word she spoke.I looked up at Ginny, She was just as shocked and confused as I was.‘I’ll leave you to it’. She mouthed. I nodded and she vanished into the night.‘Cole?’
Chapter One Hundred and ThreeCole’s Point of View‘Seriously… you’re this amazing Vampire-Killer. You?!’ He just grinned and he continued to walk towards me...‘Surprised?’ He asked‘Well... You don’t exactly look like a Killer’.‘Don’t underestimate me. Your pathetic side-piece did’. I was confused by that. What did he mean, ‘’My Side-piece’’? Sensing my confusion, he grinned again. ‘Christopher Knight’.‘Chris?’ Anger boiled up inside me. ‘What the fuck have you done to him?, He hasn’t done anything to you!’ Throwing his
Chapter One Hundred and TwoMillie’s Point of ViewIt had been months since I’d actually seen Cole. I wasn’t lying when I said I was done. He sees Orian a couple of times a week, but it's my parents who take him over and pick him back up again. He’s made no attempt to contact me, and I haven’t tried to contact him either.Rumour has it, He’s seeing someone else now anyway, I guess he never loved me as much as he says. I haven’t been wallowing in self-pity though, I have a baby boy who relies on me staying strong and I do...I stay strong for him.Mum and dad constantly give me updates about what's going on. To be honest, it's nice, but it just makes me f
Chapter One Hundred and OneDays turned into weeks and weeks turned into months and still no sign of my daughter. I feel like I'm the only one who cares about trying to find her, I don’t even have my best friend now. Since the night me and Chris cheated on our partners, we haven’t seen or spoken to each other. I understand why, I’m his daughter's husband, his husband only just came out of the hospital, but sex-aside, he was my best friend.I’m living apart from my wife and son. My daughters missing and now I don’t even have my best friend to confide in.Life truly fucking sucks right now.I have ‘’gone off the rails’’ recently. I figured, If t
Chapter One Hundred!!!!Melissa’s Point of View*** A few Weeks Later***I wandered through the house with Orian in my arms. As he’s getting older and older with each passing day, I’m really noticing changes in him. It melted my heart.Days passed… and then weeks and there was still no sign of Maggie.Cole was killing himself looking for her, So were the rest of the family and now even the police, but no one has had any luck.
