SORA'S POV:-My heart was thumping so erratically inside my chest. I could hear its drumming in my ears. Or maybe, my ears were ringing with some other sound, I could tell the difference. I turned my gaze toward his, staring blankly in his eyes. “I am sorry! I shouldn't have blamed my misfortune on you. I should have known by now that I was born with that misfortune.” I whispered softly. My tears didn't bother to ask permission before pooling out of my eyes. But at that moment, I didn't care about anything at all.I saw something in his eyes that I couldn't recognize. It only lasted for a moment then his mask was back on his face. He knelt down on the ground in front of me. My breath hitched for a moment as he touched my face with one of his hands.I sucked in a huge amount of oxygen as his fingers disappeared behind my long locks that were hanging freely from the high ponytail. He opened his mouth a few times, as if he might have something to tell me but he couldn't say it out loud.
SORA'S POV:-I started to worry once an hour passed. Loid had still not come back. After walking back and forth in front of the mansion for ten minutes I finally decided to go and check. For some reason, my heart was not at ease at all. I grabbed a silver dagger as I made my way out of the mansion. “Loid! Loid, where are you?” I screamed as I walked toward the forest. “Loid! Can you hear me? If you are wounded, just scream. I will come and get you.” I screamed again. I was hesitant at first. So I tried to sense his scent all over the place. I was disappointed when I couldn't catch his scent anywhere at all. There was nothing else I could do but step into the forest and look for Loid.Taking a deep breath, I made my way into the forest that was off limits for all the people of the pack. I followed his tracks, trying to figure out where he might have gone but I was disappointed again when I couldn't find a single trace of Loid into the forest. He was not even in the cabin. “It's good
SORA'S POV:- I was in the garden of the hospital, sitting on the grass. For some unknown reason, I could neither leave the hospital, nor could I go back on to check up on him. I wanted to get out of there so I could shed all those angry tears that I had been holding at bay. I even tried to force myself to leave. Staying outside the hospital was doing me no good. The burning sensation inside my chest was starting to become unbearable. After a few hours, I watched Alpha Cougar walking in my direction. I quickly stood up and bowed my head in submission. “How did this happen?” Alpha Cougar growled at me angrily. As if it was somehow my fault. It was useless to even think that the whole incident wouldn't be blamed on me considering my situation. I gulped down the forming lump in my throat and took a deep breath to calm my nerves down. The mark Loid had given me was constantly burning. “After completing our duties, we were coming back home. While I got home earlier, Loid didn't come home.
SORA'S POV:-I was well aware of the fact that Yenifer was in love with Loid. And the whole pack thought of them as mates. Everyone believed that Yenifer and Loid would be couples. But then, Loid found his mate and marked her. That was me! His mate. My anger toward the Moon goddess grows more and more whenever I find myself in difficult situations. It had been like this since I could remember.“I am not jealous of anyone. But I don't want to be known as the Pack's slut. You will get your way and in the end, other wolves will only see me as a slut and will try to get their hands on me.” I growled at him, I was honest and he knew I spoke the truth. Yet he had the audacity to growl at me in warning. My breath hitched as he grabbed me by my neck and choked me. “If any man other than me gets his hands on you, I will rip him into shreds. And if you ever thought about any other man in your life but me, I will take your life with my own hands. Am I clear?” He growled into my ear, making me sh
SORA'S POV:-I looked up and found him smirking mischievously at me. As if he had some dirty thoughts about me in his mind as well. He laid down on the bed and opened his arms for me. I became the little spoon as we laid together, snuggling with each other. I turned around in his arms. His eyes were making me weak. Although I had lost all the control that I had on myself before, I still didn't want to end up losing my virginity to him.It was still a mystery how I could feel fireworks in my body whenever he touched me. I often found myself asking, is this the magical feeling of the mate bond? Yet, there was no answers to my question.I was locked in his arms. With one of his hands, he cupped one of my breasts, almost making it impossible for me to breathe. I was constantly reminding myself why I was lying naked in his bed with him. It's to heal him. It's only to heal him. I must endure it. I was still blaming myself for the incident. Although, I just left him alone in that cabin becau
SORA'S POV:-I pulled away from him and looked at myself. I was not naked anymore. I had my shirt on. And my underwear was still in one piece. I pulled away from Loid to look him in the eye. I had so many questions but I didn't want him to make fun of me. “You were shivering so badly. I don't want you to get sick so I covered you in your shirt.” I was stunned how he answered the question I didn't even ask him.I looked out of the window. It was still way too dark outside. It meant that the sun hadn't even started rising. “It was just a nightmare. Try to calm yourself down.” He whispered in my ear as he offered me a glass of water. I accepted the water and downed its content in one go.I didn't even know why I was so thirsty. Once the water helped me calm down, I gave Loid the glass back. He placed it on the bedside table and laid back down on the bed. “Come on! Let's sleep.” He whispered with his arms open for me.For some reason, I knew I would find comfort in his arms. Also, I was i
SORA'S POV:-While Loid was actually enjoying everything that was happening, I was literally dreading my life. He was playing with fire like always and I was counting minutes before I would turn into a rough. “What do you want from me now?” My jaw dropped on the ground as Alpha Cougar asked Loid that question in an annoyed tone as he took his seat on the table. As for Loid, he had a smirk on his face that nagged me with that look that clearly said; “I TOLD YOU SO” “I want you to grant her six months to find out who had marked her. After all, she saved me. She deserves this much. Don't you think, father?” Loid spoke up what he had in mind. I gulped hard as I was not expecting Alpha Cougar to simply agree with Loid so easily.Alpha Cougar turned to look at me then his gaze turned back to Loid who was enjoying his food. Just then I started feeling these dark vibes around me. As if someone was cursing me with just their gazes. When I turned my head, I found my mother and Solana glaring
SORA'S POV:-Lost in the oceans of my thoughts, I was following Loid toward the training field. After the whole morning conversation, we didn't get the chance to talk about everything. In the end, I was waiting for my classes to be over soon so I could go to the training field. But when I reached the training field, a frown appeared on my face the very instant I saw Alex waiting for me in the field instead of Loid.If things couldn't get any weirder. I was in the situation when I was dying to ask Alex where Loid was, but I couldn't ask him because like everyone else, he was also under the impression that I was marked by someone unknown. And I couldn't share the truth with him. Why I was so concerned, because Alex and I went on a date or two before Loid fucked it all up for me.I didn't say anything. I just smiled at Alex awkwardly as I placed my stuff on the bench and got ready for my training laps. I was about to start running when Alex called out from behind: “What are you doing?” H
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-Sora gasped loudly as she sat up. Breathing heavily, Sora looked at her surroundings. She sighed in relief. There weren't any skinwalkers around. Sora knew that the Moon Goddess' seal was back in its place and all the skinwalkers had been sealed away. Her head was spinning and she could hear her blood pumping into her veins. Sora tried to stand up but she fell right back on my butt. Her head was spinning, Sora was dizzy. With all the strength that Sora could master, she stood up on her feet and made her way out of the woods. “Loid! Noah!” Sora called out loud as she made her way out. Sora stepped out on the road, trying to figure out where she was. Sora gasped loudly as she heard a loud honking from behind. She wanted to move away but her body froze. A car was approaching her fast.A few feet away from where Sora was standing, the car turned to the side, dodging her. It stopped a few feet away. Clutching onto her chest, Sora fell on the ground. A woman stepped ou
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-Loid and Sora were staring at Sebastian in utter shock. Noah was also staring at Sebastian but in confusion. “Sebastian! What is all this? Why are you here?” Loid growled at his brother. Loid knew what was happening, yet his brain didn't want to process that piece of information for the sake of his brother's well-being. Loid was surprised more than before when Sebastian started laughing at Loid.Noah stepped forward and took a better look at Sebastian's face. “Aren't you Sebastian Cougar, Loid's twin brother? What are you doing here?” Noah almost repeated the same question as Loid, but Sebastian couldn't stop laughing.“Why the fuck are you laughing, Sebastian? What is wrong with you?” Loud asked, growling at his brother this time. He was getting impatient because he could hear all the warriors screaming and fighting.“What's that, brother? Why is he so interested in you? Did you guys make out or something?” Instead of answering all the questions he was asked, Seb
SORA'S POV:-After clearing my head by walking aimlessly for a few hours, I finally decided to go back to the palace. I was already exhausted. I needed time to deal with everything. I decided not to stop by my father's chambers, as I knew well that he would be trying to convince me to let Noah mark me. I didn't want that. I didn't care about anything, not even that damn kingdom that didn't protect me when I needed protection from them. Why was I supposed to sacrifice when they needed it from me? They didn't do anything for me.I opened the bedroom and as soon as I stepped in, my breath hitched when I found both Noah and Loid sitting in the same bed. They had their pants on but their upper bodies were naked. “What are you both doing?” I growled at them both. I couldn't say if they were under any of Celeste's sick spells. I couldn't see anything, maybe because I was still recovering, I was unable to see it. Either way, I didn't want to even look at them.I was about to turn around and l
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-Several millennia ago, when The Moon goddess was living among all the creatures that lived in this magical realm, a chaos was ignited in between all the creatures. Aphrodite, the Goddess of love, lust and beauty, wanted to seduce the Moon and turn its powers to provide her with more beauty that could never be declined, even by God Zeus. The Moon Goddesses didn't want the Moon to lose its beauty and its powers. Especially when their powers were connected with it. Then came Goddess Selene, who wasn't connected with the moon but the Moon was connected with her powers. The moon was like a child to all the goddesses of the moon. Together, they refused Aphrodite's oblation. Goddess Selene, the Goddess of the Moon and all the shapeshifters, kicked Aphrodite out of her Temple when Aphrodite decided to use force against the Goddesses, to take away the silver light of the moon. She wanted to drink that silver light to become more beautiful than she already was. And Goddess
SORA'S POV:-The next morning, I was called by my father to meet him personally before the official meeting could have started. Nervously, I was staring at my reflection in the mirror. Loid stepped out of the bathroom, a towel wrapped around his waist. I couldn't help but lick my lips as I watched him. I heard him chuckle, that's when my eyes went up to his face. My cheeks turned red without the powdered blush. I had been caught red handed.Loud walked toward me and zipped up the long dark green dress I was wearing. “There is no need for you to feel nervous. I will be there with you. And I will be by your side no matter what happens. And I promise to never ask you anything about those abilities of yours again.” Loid whispered, his promise made me smile.Well, he had learned his lesson. And I was glad. I also helped him get dressed. After that, he grabbed my hand and pulled me outside of our bedroom. Although I was a little hungry, I knew I needed to talk to my father about the matter.
SORA'S POV:-I was excited to spend some alone time with my maye. It felt like ages since we had sat together like that and talked nonsense. And laughed at stupid things that we talked about. Loud helped me down on the ground, then Loid walked away, to look for the fresh red apples, just the way I liked them. My heart was beating so face in excitement. It was finally at ease that we were no longer in trouble. “Hey! Are you lost, little girl? How old are you? Where are your parents?” I frowned in confusion when I heard Loid's voice not from afar.I looked up and my heart almost stopped for a few seconds as I looked at the dark creature that was standing in front of Loid, glaring at him with its eyes filled with blood lust for Loid. Terror gripped my heart and my body was suddenly so cold. As if I had frozen in my place, and was unable to move.“Don't be afraid, sweetie! I will not hurt you. Are you lost? Let me help you find your parents.” Loid tried to talk to that thing in his gentle
SORA'S POV:-I couldn't bear that pain in my chest. I couldn't bear that scene playing again and again in my head. I wanted to get out of there because I felt suffocated in between the walls of the huge palace that belonged to my father. I hated that place. Before we came to the palace, I had everything that I needed. I had my mate who loved me so much. I had a home and a family that I always wanted. But since I became the lost princess of the werewolf kingdom, I became the poorest of all.My heart was burning in flames of rage and jealousy. I was his mate. It was natural. When I didn't even look at another man, I found him kissing his ex. “Sora! Wait!” I heard Loid calling me from behind. I already knew that he was running after me. But I didn't want to respond to him. I didn't even want to see him.“Sora! I said wait!” Loid called again from behind. I wiped my tears as I ran deeper and deeper into the woods. Just then, he grabbed my hand from behind and I gasped loudly when I was pu
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-Loid went for a run after leaving Sora at the Alpha King's Chambers. His mind just couldn't rest. He wanted to know everything about his mate. After all, they were soul mates. There was not supposed to be any secrets between soul mates. After running for miles, then showering and even after having his evening snacks, he couldn't stop thinking about that secret Sora was hiding from him. At last, he decided to go to the library and read some good books that could help him take his mind off of things. To his luck, he found a perfect book to keep his mind off of everything that was bothering him. It was a book about history and warfare. With a warm cup of ginger tea, he sat down on a desk and began reading the book. His mind finally found something else to focus on and his insides were quiet for a while. Loid felt peace that he had lost since he figured out that Sora had been lying to him about her abilities. He was busy flipping pages one after another when a famili
SORA'S POV:-I almost wanted to laugh when I heard my father trying to cover up his bigger curse word with a smaller one. But the discussion we were having was way too serious. I couldn't just laugh while discussing something serious. I might be his daughter and to him I was his lost little girl but in reality, I was a grown woman with a mate and a pack that I was ruling with my mate as their Luna. I had some boundaries that I couldn't cross, like ever.So I took a deep breath and grabbed the cup of tea from the table and took a sip. It wasn't as hot but enough to keep me from laughing out hard in front of my father. “I don't understand. You said she didn't want kids. But then you said that Solana was older than me. I don't understand.” I tried to change the conversation. Of course, I wanted answers. All the questions in my head, I wanted them to stop screaming.I heard my father sigh. “Well, that's what she told me the first night when we were supposed to mate. I was considerate. The
