"Why doesn't Abi want to lend you the money?"

Some money had been taken out in cash and the man asked as he counted out a few bills that were classified as such. Barbara folded her arms across her chest as she observed Samuel's every action before her.

She chuckled as she considered her answer, and indeed there was a serious admission that could not be hidden. "Abi has big expenses per year, it makes him more careful when taking action. He's realistic enough to know that the loan won't be paid back anytime soon. I certainly can't avoid the decisions Abi makes. He knew I would be angry, but he didn't care. Instead, the money was used to silence me."

At least, that's what Barbara thought these days. She understood that her husband had substantial value, inviolable. Any method of negotiation would not be able to persuade any kind of understanding that the man had decided on. There was no hope if Samuel was still overwhelmed
