She tore off a business card, wrote her number on half of it, and gave the other half and a pen to the girl in the red dress.

"I have to go home and feed my cat, you go ahead." Parker laughed: "A good day with beautiful scenery and a beautiful woman, tonight is truly wonderful. Nice to meet you."

The girl also wrote down her number and gave it to Parker, then glanced over at Harmony nearby, smiling as if she wasn't really smiling.

After the other person turned and walked away, Parker saw her face blushing in the reflection on the glass door, from her neck up to behind her ears, feeling a bit flustered.

She put the girl's number in her pocket and left the restaurant, looking a little bewildered.

Parker walked along the riverbank path, her mind racing, her heart heavy with many emotions, finally concluding that she didn't want her colleague Harmony to see her personal life.

It threatened her sense of safety.

Parker shook her head, feeling a bit ridiculous.
