PRECIOUS

We sat in the living room, all six of us huddled together. I couldn't believe that we almost lost Nate. It was just too close and if not because he got lucky he probably wouldn't be sitting here with us today. That was what the doctor said. I couldn't believe he kept something as important as these from all of us.

If he didn't want to tell me at least what about his brothers or even his father? I felt hurt that all these while we were together, that he didn't even think of talking to me about it. I am his mate and so I had the right to know what was wrong with him. To think that we promised that we won't keep secrets from each other still, he still hid something from me, from all of us.

And to add salt to the matter, the situation doesn't need to be kept secret. Didn't he even care about dying? About leaving me here alone with his brothers? I know they care about me too but I won't be happy losing one of my mates. I love them all and they have become very important to me
