PRECIOUS

I heard a thud in the pool and I glanced briefly at Tiger before I looked at where his brothers were. I was about heaving a sigh of relief when my breathing hitched again when I counted only three out of five of them.

Richmond, Duke and Damon were there except for Nate. What happened to him? Where is he? Don't tell me that it's the sound I just heard? My heart thudded rapidly and I felt like my lungs were going to break out of my ribcage due to the depletion of air I was having.

I felt my strength sap out of me, my breathing shallow and my legs wobbled in the water.

"Nate!" Richmond screamed, confirming my thoughts. Like a flash, Tigger disappeared from my side and he ran towards his brothers and as though their eyes suddenly opened they joined him in jumping into the pool, their bodies moving energetically in the water.
