"It's not your fault." My wolf whispered in my head. "Explain things to her well and she will understand."

I nodded my head in understanding, as though he could see me, and I shut my eyes close, my nose taking in a little fresh air before I let it out.

"Yes, kinda." I muttered, my eyes meeting hers briefly before landing on Dad. He gave me an angry look and a warning I understood quite well. I'd be a fool to lose my mate over a small misunderstanding. I am sure she will understand if I explain well to her and that's what I am going to do right now.

I looked back at her to find her rolling her eyes at me.
