Chapter 6

Three days passed and Mona had finally fully recovered, she immediately cleaned up. Planning to go to school tomorrow, but today she had to do household chores first. Arranging the food on the table, and making coffee as usual. After seeing that everything was in order, she stepped into Arka's room to tell her it was time for breakfast.

"Brother-in-law, it's time for breakfast," Mona called, knocking on the door.

"Have you recovered?" asked Arka as she opened the door, surprising Mona and stroking her chest.

"I'm fine, let's have breakfast, I've made coffee," Mona explained, only to be greeted by Arka's dejection.

The man sat down and began to enjoy his breakfast, he looked at Mona who after eating immediately cleaned up again making him raise an eyebrow. "Are you absent from school?" asked Arka without preamble, making Mona stop her work and turn her head to return Arka's sharp gaze.

"No, Brother-in-Law. Mona wants to go to school tomorrow, now I want to clean up first," Mona replied only with Arka's nod, and then the man went to work.

A week passed and Mona was at school, there was no class today. They went home early, the girl was still gathered around chatting to do group work. Mona sat next to Raka, he hadn't let go of her hand since the bell rang.

"How about it, who's house are we working in?" asked Mirna as she sipped a strawberry-flavored pop ice.

"I can't go anywhere," Mona said, making all her friends look at her.

"Well, let's do it at your house," suggested Raka, making everyone glare.

"No, I'm afraid of his uncle, he has a very scary energy," Dimas refused while shivering in horror.

"But he's handsome, Dim." Mirna while imagining Arka's handsome face.

"Alright, but I'll take your permission first," Mona said with nods from everyone.

Mona reached for the cell phone in her pocket. She typed each letter into a word. Then sent it to her brother-in-law.

Mona was still staring at the phone screen, waiting for her brother-in-law's reply. She did not dare to invite her friends before the owner of the residence allowed it. She nervously waited for an answer, when an incoming message sounded Mona quickly checked.

Mona smiled happily when allowed by his Brother-in-law, and she immediately showed her friends. Mirna cheered happily, she quickly took them to the convenience store first to buy snacks. After shopping, everyone quickly headed to Arka's house.

"Is your uncle home?" asked Dimas as they boarded their respective motorcycles.

"Don't forget to use the halm," said Raka, handing Mona the halm.

"Arka's brother is working. Okay, I'll use the halm, let's get the job done quickly," said Mona as she got on Raka's bike.

"What's the hurry, Mon?" asked Raka as he started to move the bike.

"I have to clean up Brother, I have to know how to stay at my brother-in-law's house," Mona replied with a nod from Raka.

"Didn't you used to always be accompanied by Uncle, you? How come now it's not?" asked Mirna because the motorbike was traveling parallel to Raka.

"Maybe Brother Arka is busy again, Mir. So he didn't get to drive me," Mona said and looked at the road ahead.

"That's because Sister Dinda betrayed me," Mona growled to herself without realizing her hands were clenched into fists.

After arriving at Arka's house, they immediately parked the Energy. Meanwhile, Mona quickly opened the door and invited Mirna to help prepare drinks and snacks. Mirna looked at the minimalist kitchen with sparkling eyes.

"If your uncle was still single, I'd want to be his wife," Mirna said, making Mona turn to look at her best friend.
