CHAPTER 102

Morning came but no pleasure came to me. Hades did not come after me nor did he send someone to check upon me.

It was 5 am. I wanted to get cold this time. It has been ages since I had gone for a morning walk and even got the chance to be outside at this hour.

I know there is a large garden outside. I grabbed the first shawl my eyes landed onto and went towards the exit.

Security was there this time also but I found a place where no one could see me. I want to feel something different than hate and sorrow.

I want nature to soothe me this time.

Dew drops had already fallen and now they gave the green grass a fresh look.

I closed my eyes and let the memories resurface. In my childhood many a time I had woken up and accompanied my father on a morning walk to the park.

He would greet the neighbors that had also left the home with the same intentions. He would then start a short tread and when I was unable to put up with him, I would always cry for him to slow down.
