Finally, after being in the hospital for about a week I was able to go home. I was never so glad to get to leave the hospital as I was that day. The guys gathered all of my stuff and took it to the car. When they returned, a nurse was just coming in with the discharge papers for me to sign. After I signed them she brought a wheelchair in and Hunter picked me up and put me in it.
I had already changed into a pair of the guys' sweatpants and a baggy shit to go home in. I was so ready to get home. The guys had all been sweet this week with staying with me but they need a good night's sleep and to get back to work. Their bosses let them all take the week off because of what happened but now it was time for them to return.
