71: Unconditional Love

Months went by.

One month before Sherry gave birth to her twins, her bulging tummy was getting heavier. She seldom leaves the room, and if she wants to go downstairs, Mae has to accompany her because she is scared of descending the staircase alone, fearing that she might fall face down due to the heavy weight she is carrying in her tummy.

Her back hurts, and sometimes, getting out of bed is a struggle.

That night, Sherry was Facetiming with Russell.

"Sweetie, you are looking like a whale now. Your face and belly are bigger than the whale," Russell joked.

Sherry pouted. "You don't like me anymore?" she asked sadly.

"I'm just joking, sweetie. No matter if you look like a whale now, I still love you. My love for you is as wide as the galaxy and as deep as the Atlantic Ocean. My love for you will never change," he replied thoughtfully.

Sherry smiled happily. "Thank you so much for loving me, sweetie. Despite I'm ugly now, you still love me. I'm grateful for your love," she said, teary-eye
