‘Yes, take me against this door.’

“Get inside, Brianna, before I do something we’ll both regret.” Bree opened her eyes, confused, as Grayson ground the words from between clenched teeth, his eyes shut close.

‘Shit!’ Bree scrambled with the key to her room in embarrassment. She dared not look back for fear of seeing the disgust on Grayson’s face. Thankfully, one of them was thinking clearly, and Grayson stopped before she begged him to fuck her.

Bree’s chest heaved in and out, unable to catch enough air. She questioned her sanity about what occurred outside her door. She had never been promiscuous before, never even exhibited any strong feelings for anyone, but every time Grayson came around, she could not help herself from throwing herself at his feet.

‘Get your head out of the gutter, Brianna. Focus on Brandon.’

Brandon. She came to town to find him and not get entangled with a certain hot, muscular sheriff.

If only she could get the memories of kissing Grayson out of her head. Eac

“Give me the phone,” Grayson’s gruff voice came closer and Bree could hear shuffling on the other line, so she expelled a sigh of relief. After their encounter last night, Bree expected him to avoid talking to her at all costs. She was hazy about the details. All she knew was that she kissed Grayson, and minutes later, he left like his ass was on fire.So much for using her charms to get what she wanted.“Sheriff Walker, how can I help you, Ms. Stone?” The mere sound of his voice made her skin tingly all over. Bree felt like he was right there, whispering in her ear that it raised the hair on her neck. In order to have a proper conversation with the Sherriff Bree had to take a deep breath to steady her nerves. “Oh, good.” She swallowed. “You already know it’s me, so I—”“There’s only one tourist in town right now calling the office every day, so I assumed it was you. How can I help you?”“Remember last night—”“It’s something you should forget.” He cut her off sternly.“No! I won’t!

There would be more hiking for the days to come, and she had to conserve energy since she had no clue when the search would end. The plan was to hit the popular camping and hiking areas while they were busy, hoping someone had seen or encountered Brandon. When the image of Bran and the connection she felt disappeared, Brianna poked around the campgrounds. She could see remnants of fire pits people used for camping, but the ashes were too dry to say if they had been lit recently. It was a popular spot, so she expected to run into someone at the site, but it was empty.Surely, she thought, they wouldn’t have heard about the animal attacks unless someone from town warned them. It made her wonder if the forest service even visited the sites to check on the campers. Sooner or later, she hoped to bump into one of them to ask about Brandon. The fatigue of the first day and the headache throbbing in her head made Bree re-think about her plans for the day. Not having the energy to move forward after having a meal, she took a quick power nap to get her strength back before heading to the next campsite. It was twilight by the time she awoke and Brianna cursed herself for sleeping too long. It would be ridiculous to walk in the dark, so she opted

She moaned at the familiar feeling, then shifted her legs open as she experienced callused hands squeeze her breast.A knee wedged between her knees and she could feel the hardness manifesting from her fantasy. The dream guy nipped at her lips, giving Bree a taste of the strawberry dessert she made earlier. Their tongues dueled as he nibbled on her lower lip, making the sensation more real. “Gray...” Bree moaned his name, her eyes fluttering slowly as she realized the object of her sexual dream had materialized on top of her.The weight of his heavily muscled chest pinning her down was real, and though shock registered i

He also cared for every werewolf that needed attention, orphans, and strays, especially. She still remembers what he said when her parents passed. ‘Don’t worry Marina, you will never be alone. I will always care for you.’ And she held him to that promise ever since. The only reason she knew Grayson was attracted to Brianna was because he saw her naked in the forest, and Marina thought she would do the same. She pinched her face to add color to her cheeks and rolled her nipples between her thumb and forefinger to perk them up. It was time to entice Grayson to establish their bond.He had just

It was not unheard of but rarely witnessed, so the people who helped search for Brianna in the forest felt lucky to have witnessed such a union.Marina tried to be on her best behavior, bringing Grayson flowers as a sign of acceptance. True mates should immediately feel the pull of their bond.”“What if I don’t want it?”“There is no resisting the call. It is how you know you are compatible with each other. Fate has chosen your partner for you.”“But that takes the fun out of dating and getting to know each other.”“How? Gauging if the person likes you or not is the most awkward part of dating and I would gladly skip that part any time. It would have been perfect if you and I were paired up, but fate has spoken.”Bree shook her head.“But if you do not want my brother, I’ll be here. Bree smirked. “It’s okay, I’m comfortable being naked. My boobs are perky enough I don’t need a bra, but it seems like you need them for extra padding.”She was used to taking digs from popular girls at school and had become somewhat of an expert when it came to clap backs and putting mean girls in their place.“Ugh! Brianna lifted her eyes with suspicion. They both knew Grayson took the diary because he wanted to read what was inside, but since he said nothing untruthful, there was no lie in his statement.“Are you the one my brother spoke of on the last page? Were your pack members hunting him down because we did not belong to any pack?”“I saw that entry, and I asked everyone, but no one had been in the forest the last few weeks.”Brianna held his gaze. So she was correct that he wanted to read the diary.“Aside from the abandoned car they found a few miles from the forest entrance a few days ago when you disappeared, there was no record of wolves visiting from other packs, either. But then again, it’s a big forest and several trails connect from Mexico to Canada, so they could have come from anywhere.”Brianna nodded. “I see.”“Did you like the bedroom? Were you comfortable enough?” He asked, changing the topic.“I haven’t seen much, but it’s lovely. Thanks for letting taking me in. I want to
