Chapter 77

Alex POV

When the truck hit my side of the SUV, I knew this was intentional. I saw the two SUV’s ahead of us stop and reverse, then I heard the ones behind us get in battle position. Two of our warriors immediately shifted and jumped into the open windows of the truck, ripping out their throats, but not before our SUV was flipped onto my Luna’s side.

I watched as she slammed her head into the window and went unconscious. I mind linked Isaac that we were hit immediately on impact, so he should be on his way here. I was trying to stay in the vehicle to protect Zariah until he got there with our ambulance and more warriors.

A dark witch approached us and suddenly I felt the SUV floating. I had to grab onto Zariah to prevent her from falling out of the broken window.
