Sia heaved a sigh of relief when R moved ahead without even throwing a glance at the rock. The pill had worked.
But, she felt like her heart was being crushed between massive boulders. Today, she was going to kill him with her own hands.
With that, her soul would be sucked out of her too. She was going to choose the path of thorny nettles, blazing cinders, an eternity of suffering.
When she saw the next group of Viridains, she got out from behind the rocks and bumped into them. She didn’t want to delay it any longer. It would weaken her resolve.
