At about 2:00 pm, The twins, Clark and Aaron soon arrived at the border of their town, Lunadelephia. Their eyes scoured the vicinity in silence as they proceeded to step down from their car.

“Bob said the body was found in the woods on the left-hand side of the road, when coming from our direction.” Clark said to Aaron, his hand outstretched, pointing towards the dense forest on their left.

With a shared nod, Clark grabbed a bag that contained investigation tools and they both ventured into the woods, their movements swift and purposeful.

Aaron gazed into the woods, where yellow tape cut through the trees, marking off the spot where the body was found. In a deliberate manner, their eyes scanned the gravel, carefully searching for signs of car tracks or other clues that could lead to their discovery.

“I’ve got something!” Aaron called out, his firm tone cutting through the breezy silence, as his eyes settled on the dark brown blood stains etched into the gravel. “It leads into the woo

Few hours to midnight, the restless twins huddled in their first-floor motel room, situated opposite the reception, planning their next move. Clark's face was set in a grim mask as he checked his gun chamber and cocked the gun. “There’s too much fishy stuff going on with this motel,” he began, his voice low and urgent.Aaron nodded in agreement. “The receptionist herself must be hiding something, she too seems fishy.” He concurred, mirroring Clark's actions with his own gun. “It's an old, functional but deserted motel, the first motel in miles and I'm sure there isn't another one for another five miles from here. How is there a motel staff with zero occupant? It doesn't add up.” Aaron added, a hint of skepticism dripping from his tone. “And why hasn't she even closed for the day? There are no guests, or is she waiting for one?”Clark exhaled deeply, his brows furrowing in suspicion. “We searched all 20 rooms, but what if we missed something? What if she showed us only what she want

“I see you found Fiona,” The receptionist spoke coldly, a subtle sly smile escaping her lips as she broke the brief tense silence that shrouded the whole room.Instantly, Clark and Aaron simultaneously raised their guns and pointed them at the woman. “Put your hands where I can see them,” Clark commanded, his tone and expression utterly austere. Meanwhile, Fiona all but shrunk behind Aaron, her panic intensifying as she gripped him by the arm. “It’s her!” She exclaimed softly. “She was the one who drugged me and kept me here, saying I must stay if I ever want to find my sister again.” She added, her voice quivering with dismay.Fiona's utterance amplified Clark's anger. His jaw clenched, teeth grinding in utmost scorn, as his finger tightened around the trigger. With the gun pointed directly at the receptionist’s forehead, he moved a step closer. “Is that true?” He demanded, his tone icy cold and menacing. The receptionist's response was a malicious subtle smirk, as she gazed into Cl

Back at Clark. As he was now left alone with the woman to interrogate and torment, he continued, his expression grave. “So this is how this is gonna go.” He began, his gun still pointed at her face.“I'll ask you three questions at once, and you're going to answer them correctly right after. But if I don't like each answer, I'll have to fire another bullet right through that same hole in your knee. Understood?” He stated, his tone resolute and menacing. The Receptionist, who was already sweating profusely and trembling from the pain in her knee joint, struggled to keep her face impassive and tone steady as she answered. “I'm just the receptionist. I know nothing.” Clark squinted his eyes and gritted his jaw in absolute anger as he aimed his gun at her knee to fire again, when the woman’s voice stopped him. “But I do know one thing," she grunted. "I know you’re not going to kill me.” She stated confidently, yet breathing raggedly. “You’re a Silversmith hunter and you would never hurt

At Nicholas’s utterance, “She's mine.” Aaron's teeth clenched so hard that his veins bulged at his temples. He withdrew his blazing glare from Nicholas, and they turned soft as he gazed down on his unconscious sister, looking pale as she lay in his arms.“You ruined her life, Nicholas.” Aaron began, his tone low and heavy with foreboding dread. As Clark sped down the winding dimly lit road, the twins’ relief at getting Kimberly away from Nicholas was short-lived. Suddenly, the car sputtered and swerved, tires screeching in protest. Clark’s eyes widened as he struggled with the steering wheel to maintain control.“What was that!?” Aaron yelled, bracing himself against the dashboard.“I don't know, but we're losing traction!” Clark exclaimed, his face grim.Suddenly, the car veered off the road, crashing through a makeshift barricade. The twins exchanged stunned glances as they took in the scene: a sabotaged bridge, twisted metals, broken tree branches and concrete blocking their path.Kimberly, who was still lying half asleep on the backseat, had firmly held onto the seat before her, bracing herself against falling from the swerving of the car. Once the car came to rest, she deliberately put down her legs on the car floor and sat erect, her movements unsteady. “What…what's happening?” she asked with a weak voice.Aaron turne
