Chad's POV

I entered Bella's room and found her sleeping peacefully. Even when every time she ends up being hurt one way or another, she keeps going on with her head held up high. Her resilience floors me. I look at my clothes covered in blood. I spent all night interrogating the Natbian prisoners. I had lost it with a few and might have gone too far.

My head hurts as flashes of the shit show from earlier replay in my mind. I go to my room using the door that connects our rooms, trying not to make noise. Thanks to my abilities, I can often pass inconspicuous. I shower meticulously, washing all the blood and filth left on my body. I was not about to touch Bella with filthy hands, and tonight, I will touch her. Oh yeah. My cock throbs just thinking about her full curves and tiny waist.

I go back to her room, completely naked and still drying my hair with a towel. The blankets were hanging low on her body, barely covering her. I bite my bottom lip as my eyes cloud with desire, not

Bella's POV As the days passed by, I immersed myself in preparing for the full moon's ritual that would break the curse. Hendrick and I haven't told Chad. He would never agree to it if he knew what the ritual would involve. Even Hendrick does not know the whole truth. Hendrick paces back and forth inside his cage like room. As the full moon gets closer, his mind gets clearer, and he stops hearing voices that urge him to kill. It's impressive to see his normal self, so confident and exuding power. "Are you sure this is the only way, Bella?" He asks once again as if giving me the opportunity to rethink it and retract. Impossible, I need to free them once and for all. My heart raced just thinking about the years of suffering their parents must have endured watching their sons succumbing to the curse. "There is no other way, Hendrick. It took me weeks to figure it out. I couldn't even risk asking Camille for help. She is too close to my grandmother. I am afraid she'd sabotage my in

Bella's POV Chad woke up in the middle of the night. His low growls startled me, waking me up as well. He was sitting at the edge of the bed. His breathing was labored. For the first time since I met him, a flicker of fear ran through my body. "Chad, are you alright?" I put my hand on his back, and he stiffened, but his breathing regulated again. I felt the sparks emanating from his body and sipping through my veins. "I need to go to my chamber now!" His voice was guttural, almost macabre. More animal than human. I shuddered. He looked at me, and his eyes flashed. "It has begun." He got up and went through the secret door toward his chamber. He had mindlinked Hendrick and Dr. Strauss because they were waiting for him at the end of the hallway with various guards. "Bella, go back to your room!" Hendrick ordered. I went back even though all I wanted was to follow Chad and never leave his side. He couldn't see me like this, though. I leaned on the wall, feeling my knees buckle.

Chad's POV The murderous rage I feel is driving me crazy. The desperate need to get free and rip apart everything in my vicinity is overwhelming and torturous. Cobalt senses Bella's presence somewhere nearby and the need to go to her clouds every other thought. I can't control Cobalt, not in a full moon. I feel a woman painting some symbols on my arms and chest. Cobalt trashes even more growling. dying to sink his claws on her. "Chad, try to control Cobalt!!" Who's that? His voice sounds distorted, and even their faces are disfigured. I can not make who's who. "I must kill them all!!" I snarl. The painful sting of the wolfsbane around my arms and legs makes me howl in pain. Just then, the most wonderful smell reaches my nostrils. Is mouth watering, peaches, and cream... and something else that I can't describe. Cobalt starts trashing uncontrollably. When the door is thrown open, the delicious smell invades my senses. My eyes can see clearly now, and I see her. A creature descen

Bella's POV The following days were a blur of activity. Chad wanted us to get married immediately. He wanted to announce to the world that I was his fated mate. He has arranged a meeting with the elders to give them the good news. We are supposed to meet with them today at their headquarters. "Bella, your wedding dress is exquisite. You are so incredibly talented." Elise beamed as she holds the dress in her hands. "I need to look the part. Chad wants to crown me as queen the day of the wedding, and I get to mark him as well." I said with a grin that has not left my face all day. I feel like I'm floating with happiness. "That will be memorable. Did you know that only the fated mate of the Lycan King could mark him. If any other than his fated mated try to mark him, it won't work, but he could mark a chosen one." Elise remarked. "Your mark, though, is undeniable. Anyone could see that this is the mark of a royal fated mate." I touched my marck with my left hand absentmindedl

Hendrick's POV I left the place before I ended up punching Chad. His possessive and arrogant display of ownership towards Bella made me sick with jealousy. I got on my bike and rode to Main Street. All the most luxurious stores and restaurants are there. I parked next to Lynne Wayne Inc. The mannequins in the display windows are dressed with the season's latest designs. I had seen Bella sketch those designs one afternoon. She is incredibly talented. A while later, Chad's car pulls around the corner, and I see Bella getting out of the car. She goes inside the store, and two guards follow her inside. Chad and Dane leave. How can they leave her alone? My blood ran hot with anger. Right on cue, Jasper Holloway appeared out of nowhere, entering the store. I drop the cigarette. I was smoking and stepped on it. It's time to break some bones. "We have nothing to talk about, Jasper. Please leave!" Bella hisses. Where are her fucking guards? "Bella, you're not as saint as you pretend to

Chad's POV Dane and I got to the hospital in record time. The first person we saw was Dr. Grace, Fort's mate. She lunged herself into my arms. Luckily, we had werewolf Drs here at the human hospital for situations like this. I pat the shaken woman on her back. Dane passed her a handkerchief, and she cleaned her tears. "I'm sorry, King Chad." She says with trembling lips as she steps back. "What happened?" I asked. "He was found in a dark alley bitten up and barely alive. He had my contact number on him, and the police called me." She says, and more tears run down her grey eyes. Her black hair was pulled up in a messy bun. She looked so young and frail. Just then, I heard an extra heartbeat. "Grace, are you pregnant?" I asked cautiously. She nods. We all knew how terrified Fort was of her getting pregnant. He was afraid she would end up like Dane's first mate. She was human. A few minutes after a Dr. came out. "My king!" He bowed low. "You can see him now. His wolf has

Chad's POV As I look at Bella sleeping peacefully in the hospital bed, all the recent events replay in my mind. Hudson has grown bolder. He almost killed one of my most trusted men, and now he has attempted to kidnap Bella. I brush a strand of hair off of her face, making her pout in her sleep. Fuck, she's my life. I'll be damned if I let Hudson take her. I study her intently. That display of power in the common room was impressive. She must be part witch. I will not press her for answers. She will tell me when she's ready. I kiss her hand as guilt gnaw at my insides. I lost control. Hendrick just saved her, and I attacked him like a lunatic. I couldn't help it, though. Cobalt had been on edge about him. He is always near Bella, like a lost puppy seeking attention. This beating was long overdue. He fucking needs to find his own mate, now that the curse is broken he can move freely and look for his mate. Bella's eyes fluttered open. Her baby blues looked at me tenderly. "You're

Bella's POV I dig my nails into Chad's back as he pounds inside me. Out tongues tangle in a fervent kiss that sends jolts of pleasure directly to my loins. His deep and fast thrusts have me moaning silently as each moan was muffled by Chad's burning kisses. Only the wet noises of skin to skin contact interrupted the silence of the night. "So wet for me, Mon Amour." Chad whispered in my ear, but he plunged his tongue in my mouth once again in a devouring kiss. He lifted my legs with his forearms, and I felt his thrust going even deeper. "It's so good, Chad!" I moaned against his lips. I felt his hips going faster. An impending orgasm hit me for the 5th time this night. Chad's thrusts became faster and sharper. He trapped my mouth once again with a kiss, adding to the consuming pleasure that shattered my body. His grunts were followed by his release, which made me orgasm once again. Chad rested his forehead against mine as he finished releasing inside me. He kissed my forehea

Hudson's POV Arona flinches as I throw another crystal vase against the wall. Since my return, she has not been any help. I can see her struggling to hold back the urge to say, "I told you so," but she knows better than to provoke me when I'm in this fucking mood. Camilla glances at me and sighs. Ever since I arrived, I have been berating everyone nonstop. A warrior enters the living room, fear clearly visible on his face. “A... Alpha King. None of the men made it back to North Natbia.” I snarled and grabbed him by the collar, throwing him against the wall. He landed on top of the shattered glass. Arona snickered from behind. I turned around, pinning her with a menacing stare. The warrior scrambles to his feet and flees the scene. I was still seething. I had to flee Kaladia like a coward. My warriors stood no chance against Bella, and my useless mother was unwilling to confront her. Therefore, I had to leave Bella and everything else behind. “What kind of witches are you two?

Hendrick's POV I entered the room as soon as Chad left. The air still reeked of sex, and I felt a sharp sting of jealousy. Lycans have a much stronger sense of smell than wolves. I felt Bella's scent as I approached the bed—she smells exquisite. That natural aroma of hers calms both me and Chaos. I sat on the chair to gaze at her like a fucking stalker. She stirred in her sleep. Her wolf could sense me, but she did not feel threatened by me. She sleeps peacefully. I resisted the urge to brush the silky strands of hair away from her face. Her pillowy lips are slightly parted as she breathes softly. The palace is bustling with activity, all in preparation for her wedding to Chadwick. My jaw tightens. This infatuation has had to go. She's my brother's mate. The one and only, not a second chance mate, but the one the Goddess intended for him. Holloway signed his death sentence with what he did. I know my brother. He does not forgive easily, especially when it comes to her. Hence, m

**Bella's POV** After Dane shared the great news, I got up from Chad's lap and placed the plate of food on the table. I had been so hungry earlier. Although I usually don’t eat much meat, I felt like I could eat everything on the table. Chad had been feeding me tiny bites when Dane walked in, and I noticed the amused glint in his eyes at the sight of us. Everyone at the palace saw Chad as the big bad wolf, but he was so sweet to me. "So, he's gone!" I exclaimed with excitement. "It seems so," Chad replied, leaning back on the couch and crossing his legs in a figure-four position. "We won't let our guard down, though. Don't forget that he is working with a witch." He focused his gaze on me, and I felt my cheeks flush as I averted my eyes. I grabbed the glass of wine Rose had served earlier and welcomed the bittersweet taste. "I will reinforce the security around the palace. People from neighboring packs have started to arrive for your wedding," Dane said before excusing himself

Chad's POV I witnessed everything in those fleeting seconds from a distance. The chaos that unfolded was overwhelming. Her power was immeasurable; she tore through the magic barriers fiercely. My warriors stood helplessly. There was nothing else to do. She eliminated the threat singlehandedly. Now, I cradle her in my arms inside the car as she sleeps like an angel, not as the terrifying witch who just obliterated an army of warriors. The small lashes on her supple skin finally heal, and I clench my jaw at seeing them. The dried blood that smeared her skin had already begun to flake away. Hendrick speeds past on his motorcycle. He knows what Bella is capable of, so he had no doubts when he took her to that place. I can't help but feel jealous of their closeness. Why does she trust him with her secret and not me? Dane pulls through the castle gates, and I leave the car carrying Bella. As we pass by the common room, the women gasp and look in horror as they see Bella covered in bl

Bella's POV As we approach the crumbling, abandoned building, my heart races like a wild drum in my chest. The eerie silhouette of the structure looms before us, its broken windows resembling dark, unblinking eyes. Despite the unsettling ambiance, my real fear lies not in what might be lurking within those walls but in the possibility of Chad discovering my location. Tonight, I plan to unravel all my secrets to him, a daunting task that sends a flutter of anxiety through me. I rub my palms together, feeling the cool air against my skin, a stark contrast to the warmth of my apprehension. Hendrick catches my gaze, a playful smirk dancing on his lips. “Don’t tell me you’re getting scared? Bella, you single-handedly subdued the four men who tried to kidnap you in Royal City,” he teases, his confidence radiating like a beacon. Though my stomach twists slightly, I can't help but quirk my lips at his words. “Well, I didn’t mean to kill them. I was just learning to harness my newfound p

Chad's POV I scrubbed my hands under the harsh stream of water, watching the crimson droplets swirl down the drain, remnants of a tense interrogation fading into nothingness. The North Natbians were attempting to breach our borders, and one of their spies had finally divulged unsettling information. They were on a mission to capture Bella, to deliver her to their king, and every one of them carried her picture, a haunting reminder of the stakes at play. Frustration boiled within me, and I slammed my fist against the wall, the sound echoing like thunder in the sterile room. The realization that he could hold Bella hostage, forcing my hand and sealing Kaladia's fate, ignited a fire of desperation in my chest. “Chad, I know you’re trying to protect Bella, but she needs to understand the peril she’s in,” Dane insisted, his expression taut with concern. "I will talk to her," I snapped, my voice rough with guilt. I hated the thought of burdening her with fear. I felt like I was failing

**Bella's POV** I rummage through the drawer for the fourth time, knowing I left Jasper's letter inside. However, the envelope containing my son’s sonogram is nowhere to be found. I hear Rose’s footsteps approaching, and I turn to face her. "Queen Luna, the team from Lynne Wayne has arrived for your final dress fitting!" Rose announces with enthusiasm. I glance at my Audemars Piguet Royal watch, a recent gift from Chad, and I remind myself that I am finally marrying him and claiming him as my own. Butterflies flutter in my stomach at the thought. "Thank you, Rose. I’ll be there in a few minutes. Make sure to inform the Lunas as well," I instruct firmly. Rose nods and exits. When I step into the spacious fitting room, my friends eagerly await me. "Bella, your dress is absolutely stunning! You definitely have to design my dress too!" Elise declares. “Of course I will,” I reply confidently as the assistant zips up my dress. The skirt sparkles with tiny diamonds, my shoulders bar

Chad's POV It had been weeks since I forced Jasper Holloway to go back to Riverbank's Pack with his mate and daughter. Bella stopped me from killing Jasper, just like I had been itching to do for a long time. Only Bella's intervention and the fact that he has a pup now saved him. Bella did not want a fatherless pup in her conscience. It had been the first time we had fought. I hated every minute of it. I stormed out of my office when Dane mindlinked me. Jasper Holloway had intercepted Bella outside the maternity hospital. She had accompanied Elise for her prenatal checkup. When Dane met them outside, Holloway was practically dragging Bella by the arm. I had given the order to throw him out of the city, and he dared to think he could take Bella away with him. I lost it when I got to the scene. "Get your filthy hands off of my mate!!" I snarled as I lunged at him, claws out and elongated teeth. Cobalt demanded blood, and I was going to deliver. I will paint the Palace's grounds wi

**Camilla's POV** I watched from the shadows as the Lycan roared furiously. That she-wolf, Sadie, had slapped the Princess. Sadie had played a key role in my plan, but I no longer needed her. I made sure her pup never made it out of the ICU. She had to pay for gloating when the Princess lost that wolf's spawn. That pup was born weak anyway, and it was her mother’s fault. She gave me her pup's blood from the womb to create the potion that killed the Princess's pup. It's a shame that the Princess, being too soft-hearted, cured the pup already. She will soon learn that kindness is futile. "Who hurt you?!" the Lycan asked her again, kissing her reddened cheek softly. Even though he touched her with care, I could sense his aura darkening. He was clearly furious yet treated her as if she were made of crystal. "I had a confrontation with Sadie..." The Lycan spun around and moved toward the exit, but the Princess held him back. "Chad is okay, really. I slapped her back." The Lycan seemed t
