“Am I actually hearing you right? Are you trying to tell me that Daphne is a half-breed?” I was in shock.

The doctor bobs his head up and down.

“She doesn’t have a wolf scent. Nor does she show any characteristics of being a wolf. Are you certain?” I ask again, hoping that there must be something else.

“Linc, the doctor has already said yes.” Alpha Colt rests his hands on my shoulders.

“How did you not know about this, you are our King? Isn't this kind of thing supposed to be reported?”

The Alpha shakes his head at me, “I don’t know, maybe a Rogue, maybe someone fell in love with a human. It would have been when we were young. She is the same age as Lilah. If my father was alive, we could have asked him.”
