[Dedicated to @Trinitysanders! thanks for your consistent support!] LEGIONS POV My eyes shot wide awake, a sudden ache starting from my middle all the way up to the side, unfolded from deep inside me as I gasped awake. Hissing at the intruding pain, I soon realized I had been propped on my left side. With one heave, I pushed myself back, regretting the action instantly as the pain tore deeper within me, and I bit down on my lip, stopping the growl threatening to escape, gazing at the dark ceiling as the pain from my abdomen spiked through. Mate. Xeric blurted out My blood run cold as I remembered everything that had happened. Blinking rapidly as the dots started blurring my vision. Where was Kaya? Visions of the strange Azian boy with golden wings standing at the end of the flickering dark haunting hallways flooded my memories, those golden eyes set exclusively on me shimmering in emotio
[Dedicated to @Trinitysanders! thankyou for your support!] LEGIONS POV My eyes shot to my father's, a confused glaze over them, "A dragon?" I repeated, my fists clenching, eyes darting back to my mate. Jaw ticking desperately, I moved to her other side, pushing her sleeve up to get another look at the dragon tattoo, a vicious growl escaping my lips at the confirmation of a scent on her. I became livid. The rage that roared through me was undeniable as I stared at the dragon tattoo. Someone marked my mate? MY MATE? The beast inside me stormed, my pitch dark eyes settling on my father, "WHEN?" Xeric growled so calmly and slowly that I saw a hesitant fear flash through Zerth's eyes. Not caring to understand it, my gaze intensified on him. I felt Xeric on the verge of breaking through and I didn't mind it at all. I was as furious and completely outraged as he was. Whic
[Dedicated to @trinitysanders. Thank you for your support!" AZIANS POV Alpha was here. We all were. The power that circled through my body was unlike any I had ever felt, anything that had ever existed. Like having all this power was an abomination, a forbidden element that only I was allowed to possess, only I could control, even if it felt like an uncontrollable rage within me. Though I was the one in charge of my body at this instant, Alpha's presence was stronger, Omega situated at my beck and call as if we had somehow combined in every form and in every way. Alpha’s aura spread in abundance, and I knew we felt like a suffocating blur of power to every being that was unfortunate enough to be in our vicinity, human or not, even though if anything, Alpha wasn't even trying to dominate at the moment. He was simply existing, finally there, not just an annoying voice in my brain, sho
"Good Morning" Abigail greeted, glancing back at Ena who walked in with her sister, Maria by her side, "how was the couch?" She asked, with a slight giggle despite the heavy air of the situation around them "It was horrible. It was like someone stuck some frickin pins or magical needles in there," Maria huffed, cracking her neck and then stretching her back before she leaned against the island table, looking up at Abigail unimpressed. Ena shrugged, taking a seat, "I don’t know about that but, my couch was alright,” clasping her hands together with a grin. Maria rolled her eyes, "Please,” she grunted, “the only way you got through the night that well, is if you used a comforting spell," she accused. Her sister grinned, "I'm not denying it." Maria gasped, a little disappointed, "oh, and you didn't think maybe, I dunno, your little sister needed one as well? Hello, I have cactus back here,” she groaned trying to stretch again.
AZIANS POV I stared at the startled human before me, not at all surprised. This is where the scent that carried the essence of Kaya had led me, back home and to the human with the most striking resemblance to my mate, from her brown eyes only with only a hint of gold whilst my mate's eyes were adorned in it, to the shape of her face, differing only in age, and of course, the hair which she had cut short, whilst Kaya’s wild and free. This was not the Aunt I knew Kaya had, no- this could only be her mother. I captured her eyes in mine, staring down at her, reading through, confirming it was definitely Kaya’s mom, Alpha growling respectfully at this realization. Her smell was a lot like Kaya, and the hint of gold in her eyes spoke of the mark of Erania. She brought about a calming effect around me, and the rage that I had inside me dwindled into a manageable state. “Sweet heavens above you’re beautiful,” she blurted out, and I
Location: Gard (The Dragon Base). Voices whispered around. echoing through the halls of the makeshift tent. The lit torches swayed in the wind as Peanut downed downing a jug of ale, wiping the remainder off with the back of his sleeve, letting out a satisfied ‘ah,” his twinkling hazel eyes finding that of the ale girl as he called out to her, “Over here darlin’, now don’t be shy!” he called out with a brazen chuckle, raising out his jug as she walked to him with a bright smile. Micheal watched the ale pour from her jug to Peanuts swaying hand, as she turned to him, “Anything for you, witch?” she asked, her tone seductive. “I fear Peanut has drunk enough for the both of us,” he huffed, covering the top of his jug with his large palm, drawing the jug closer to him. “As you wish,” the ale girl nodded, her attention turning back to Peanut, her gaze flirty, “I’ll be back with more, my lord, you need only to call.” “And call I will,” Peanut grinned, winking at her, then watching as her
Realm: The Supe Realm Location: King Alec Diarnov’s Castle. The sound of heavy footsteps echoed down the long hallways, two vampire guards marching behind the heavily cloaked figure who stopped behind the heavy double doors before her. She paused, the sound of a shaky breath being released, straightening her posture, pushing the doors wide open, Stephania paused as she stared into the darkness of the hall before her. Her eyes ventured to the end of the stoned throne room, covered in dark shadows, with only one torch light propped behind the huge iron throne at the end of the hall. A slumped figure in it, caressing what looked like a vase in his lap, hands skimming over the lid. She pursed her lips at the sight of him. His head was bowed low, lips barely moving as if he was mumbling something to himself, or rather whispering something to the vase, his short hair gently swaying in a breeze one would have never thought existed in this windowless throne room. She breathed out, claspi
She always looked beautiful, no matter what she did. Even as she lay, in the deepest slumber, unaware she was in another realm, my mate was the definition of beauty. My hand caressed the side of her face, moving in, gently placing a kiss on her lips. I remained above her, Xeric taking in her scent with a low growl. It was the only thing we could do to keep calm now. The only thing that would not rob us of our sanity. That would keep us from panicking. Panicking in the world we were in. I looked up, finding the courage that had dwindled as I walked toward the palace window, ripping the large curtains open. Finally bringing light to the gloomy room. One I had not slept in for decades. My heart pounded within me as the sun shone through, opening the large glass windows as I walked to the balcony, my eyes set on my Kingdom. The kingdom I had left decades ago. Kesh was beautiful as I remembered it. The air was purer than the poison in the Neut realm. The birds hummed and flew low. I mi
"Curious little wart," Stephania sighed, her fingers slipping through the fine strands of Ally's midnight hair, sprawled about her on the bed. She let go with a sigh, turning around to the other figure in the room with her."The ancient?" Ambrogrio asked his voice monotone, and raised an eyebrow.A muffled grunt from the unconscious finder took both of their attention. They watched the strands of black venom shifting beneath her cocoa skin, her veins visible under it, whilst unconsciously gripping the sheets for a moment.Stephania raised an eyebrow at this. "It seems he is where he should be," she finally responded, glancing back at Ambrogrio, "as planned."The Vampire grunted at this, seemingly uncomfortable for a moment, as his gaze drifted back to the finder."Does it worry you?" Stephania purred, studying his actions in amusement. Her eyes danced in mischief. Ambrogrios cold gaze snapped back to her. "Worry me?" he echoed slowly, his gaze narrowing."That the ancient returns f
[ Ally's POV]I needed to get the hell out of here. For goodness sake, I was trapped in a castle! It had to be a frickin castle or some kind of medieval-styled mansion, I figured. My gaze traveled the length of the high wooden ceiling, frowning when I spotted a spider lurking in the corner with a bunch of cobwebs.Eight-legged creatures gave me the ick. I shivered, shutting my eyes again, trying to calm my nerves. It just had to be spiders.Nope- we weren't going there. I had to be calm. Think this through. First things first. Where the hell was I? Was I still in Torent? Who knew where these supernaturals could have taken us to? They could have portaled us to another world for all I knew. If Abigail could do it, so could Stephanie.Damn it, mom was going to kill me. Perhaps she would forgive me if I told her I was kidnapped by a Lycan? Who the heck was I kidding? There was no way in hell. Mom went along with a lot of my theories but she would call bullshit on this one in a hea
[Khloe’s POV] "LET ME OUT!” I screeched at the top of my lungs for what felt like the millionth time, banging against the door. I stared at my nails, the pink manicure officially undone. I toppled to the floor, groaning as I cradled my aching belly. Everything hurt. This was not how it was supposed to go. I wasn't supposed to end here. He was supposed to end. I frowned remembering the look on my mother's face as she left. A sheet of glassy tears filled my eyes for a second. So useless, useless to think she cared. She shouldn't have left me behind. She was selfish, I’ve always known that but I thought I was her exception. I was her daughter for Pete's sake. I took a breath out, pushing my tears back. Bad bitches don’t cry. I let out another shaky breath, rolling my shoulders. This would not be my end. Father had absolutely no mercy and I shivered at the thought of what he'd do to me. He hadn't come to see me yet and for that I was thankful. It meant I was still needed unless his
[Azian's POV] The four men behind me moved quietly, heads bowed, none daring to speak. I didn't mind the silence, if anything I rather liked it. It had been roughly 14 years since I had been around another of my kind which wasn't Edwin of course. My Dragon felt at ease knowing he was around his kind but I doubted the same could be said for them. They were exuding rather fearful auras. I would imagine without even knowing it, Alpha was exiting his suffocating aura. He huffed at this, not bothering to mend it. It was something about ensuring that they knew who was Alpha. Nevertheless, in the steady quiet, I had taken time to read each and every one of their auras. I knew Tars and the Hydras by heart. Tars dragon, Flame was strong, stronger than any other dragon after mine and my Fathers. The Hydra's came in with their own advantages and added disadvantages. I figured since they found me or rather I found them, they probably had made an attempt to send a mind message back to their
[KAYA’S POV] I stared up at my best friend in complete confusion. “Ally?” What was she doing here? I closed my eyes for a second, trying to relieve the annoying thudding sensation currently ringing in my head, my eyes closing shut yet again. "KAYA! Don't go to sleep, hey, wake up, wake up!" Her voice came out urgently but I couldn't understand why. Why was she being so goddamn loud? My head was aching beyond measure. My brain felt light and fuzzy. I was supposed to be safe, with Azian. Azian. The name taunted me, groaning as I turned my head to the side opening my eyes again, catching the blurry face of my best friend, “Ally?” I echoed once more, “w-where’s Azian?” I mumbled, feeling her arms come up around me, pulling me up to a sitting position. I swayed upright unable to support my own weight. My muscles felt weak like I hadn’t walked in days. I struggled to piece up the words she was rattling on about, taking this time to take in my surrounding, expecting to find something clo
[Ally's POV] Something was burning. My nose twitched, and beneath my closed eyelids my eyes moved, trying to cut off the scent. I slowly opened my heavy eyelids, an immediate pain stretching down every joint of my body. Had I been crushed alive? Is that why my body felt like it had been trampled by a giant and then run over by a big-ass bus? Groaning, I tried to pry my eyelids wider, hoping to clear my vision but no matter how much I tried it remained blurry and hazy. With the exit of another groan, I was able to slowly shift my head to the side roughly making out a blurry figure of a woman, gliding gracefully around the room, holding what seemed to be like a…burning branch. A stick, it was way too small to be a branch A burning stick? Think Ally...what is that? I prodded my head for the origin of that smell. I knew what that was. Sage. Yes…the blurry woman was burning sage. I blinked repeatedly, this time picking a low humming noise that seemed to be coming from the ghost of
[WRITERS POV] Abigail sighed ruffling her dark locks so the ceiling chips could fall out of them. A deep frown across her face as she examined the hole in her roof, “For heaven’s sake, He has to stop doing that! He just can't keep making holes in our roof," she huffed, glaring at the exposed space in the roof, just above Azians bed. She sighed, whispering magical words underneath her breath. Suddenly the ceiling chips began to rise to attach themselves and sealed the hole up till it looked brand new. She laid her hands on her hips, turning around to face the other two in the room, “give a boy a pair of wings, and suddenly you have no roof above your heads,” she huffed. "Any guesses where he went?" Gabrielle asked blinking twice at the now sealed roof. It was the first time she had ever seen Abigail use her magic like this, to such an extent. She couldn’t quite believe it all. All this was still strange to her, and she was trying her best not to lose her mind. Abigail sighed, g
LOCATION: Neut Realm [AZIANS POV] Dark. Cold. The feeling took over my body despite the heat that traveled beneath my skin. Stoned walls. Every detail was appearing and disappearing at an alarming rate and I tried my utter best to focus, my breathing harsh as I struggled to move. I breathed out, trying to see well. Why couldn't I see? I fisted my hands squinting through the darkness, trying to block out the sharp low buzzing ringing in my ears. Alpha growled again. What was he trying to show me? My eyes traced around the blurry dark room, a scent of sage hanging in the air. Bed. I could make out a bed. I tried to walk toward it, but my steps were swayed. Shaking my head and prodding my mind to focus, I was able to take a few shaky steps toward it. The closer I got the more I would see that there was a figure on the bed. My heart began to pound louder. Growing want entrapping me. It was hot now. Not cold. Hair. Curly brown hair. My heart thumped within me and I tried to stop
Realm: Supe Realm Location: Escur Mountain Micheal pushed out from the trees, wiping the leaves and grass stuck to his clothes as he walked before suddenly pausing, eyes trailing upwards to the valley they had descended in, a small smile breaking on his face as the similarity. "12 hours he said. We've been traveling for a day and a half, " Reye grumbled from down below, but Micheal barely cared as he stood frozen at the sight before him. It had been so long since he was last here. The place he had departed with his wife and unborn daughter. Memories of that day drifted into his mind, almost able to see the look on Anna's face when he had confessed that she would have to leave without me. "How much farther Micheal?" Yohan huffed, as he hoisted himself up to where the witch was standing, his gaze focused on him, wiping his dirty palms on his shirt. Micheal grinned turning slightly to the boy, squinting in the setting sun as he pointed forward, "see for yourself." It was then Yoh
