Dahlia's POV Continued

Screaming was all I could hear. It pierced through my head blinding my vision as my body felt white hot.

My skin felt as if it was on fire outside the dull rush of sparks hitting through the pain helping me stay grounded.

Before I knew it darkness took hold of me after I felt as if I couldn't breathe. Alanah was trembling inside of me before her tail whipped as her head rose.

It was as if I was in a dark room with her all alone. Face to face as she raised, unsteady I might add, to walk over to me.

It felt surreal to see her like this. I never truly see how we look when we are shifted, not like I ever had the chance to stand in front of a mirror to look at just how beautiful she really is.

The size of her was massive, bigger than I realized as she steps closer. We stand there, face to face, showing how tall she stands. Her silk black fur shimmers even without light being here, her eyes glow so magnanimous that it's almost hypnotic.
