99| Escape Without Jace

Rain thrashed and kicked empty air. She was trying to get away from anyone who wanted to attack her. She thought it was on the roof. It was just another room with a massive hole in the wall. The wind that brought cold air rushed through the gaping hole with great force.

"Hey, calm down, it's me! Rain, calm down. It's me, Benjamin."

Upon hearing Ben's voice, the girl suddenly relaxed and turned around. It's not imaginary. Benjamin was indeed there and had returned to his standard human form.

Rain was very relieved. She reached out and touched Benjamin's cheek. Rain also checked every part of Benjamin's body. She had to make sure there wasn't even an inch of Ben's body that didn't return to normal.

"You're back as before? Your feathers are gone! Look, your long muzzle isn't there either!" Rain squealed with joy like a child getting a surprise. Rain could not think because she was so excited.
