Chapter 3 Presh's POV

I got home and went straight to my room and lay down to take a nap before evening. I slept for about three to four hours and there came a knock on my door. I woke up and checked the time and found out that it's a few minutes to eight and the welcoming ceremony will start by eight, that's when I woke up fully and another knock came to my door, followed by favours voice.

" Precious, open the door,it's time already".

" Am coming". I said and walked towards the door. I opened the door and favour and flourish walked in looking stunning.

" Oh my gosh,what's wrong with this girl?" Favour asked.

" She is not even ready yet" she added.

" Sorry girls,I was sleeping and lost track of time". I apologized.

" Let me go and take a shower,I will be right before you know it" I said as I walked towards the bathroom.

I took a shower and dressed up.

" Now sit down for your make up" flourish said picking up the makeup she selected.

" I don't need that" I said.

" U do need it, even if you are beautiful, this will be the finishing finale to boost your beauty" Favour supported. I compromised and sat down.

" Please where is Micheal?, I haven't seen him the whole day". I asked.

" He's waiting for us at the gathering". Favour answered.

" And Donald?". I asked 

" He's downstairs". Flourish answered while purring the finishing touches to my makeup.

" And am done with the makeup". Flourish said.

" And it's my turn to style you hair" Favour said unpacking my hair.

After she's done with that, we went out of my room and went downstairs. When we got downstairs Donald was waiting in the living room.

" Evening Donald"I greeted him immediately I spotted him in the living room.

" What took you so long?, I have been waiting here for almost an hour,it's almost and it's eight thirty already". He said as he raised up his face from his phone to look at me.

" Sorry I slept off,let's go"I explained looking at him to take the next move. He didn't do,say anything or answered me. He was looking at me with eyes wide open, in a surprised look, anyway he should be. Am not surprised by his reaction.

" Hello Mister,your mate is still in front of you, stop drolling over your cousin"I teased bringing him back to reality.

" Wow princess, you very beautiful,you should wear more of dresses". He said as he hugged and kissed his mate.

" Thank you"I said.

" Your hug and kisses won't bribe me because of the way you are looking at her". Flourish insisted.

" Sorry mate, I was just surprised that dresses fitted her this much,but she always wear trousers, I prefer her wearing more of dresses, if her mate sees her,he can't be able to control himself". He explained.

" Are you saying that am not beautiful".

" How will I say such a thing?, You are my one and only, and you are very beautiful, I can't even resist you". He said as he started kissing her, not minding our presence.

" Oh my goodness, this two werewolves are shameless,they didn't mind us being here and they are already making out" Favour complained.

" Please go and get a room me and favour are leaving" I said as I drag favour outside.

" Alright, alright, let's go". Flourish and pushing Donald aside and following right behind us.

We got into the car and drove off to the gathering. We got to the gathering packed our car in a safe distance from the gathering and their are vehicles everywhere and the gathering is filled with werewolves.

Lala,my wolf suddenly got excited as if she's acknowledging the presence of her master. I was surprised because she have never been this happy. I was amazed, thinking that it was because of the gathering but I have been to alot of gathering over the years. I tried not to think too much about it. But every single step I took closer increases her happiness. 

"what is making you this happy" I couldn't help but ask curiously.

" You will see" was all that lala told me, overly happy. I tried persuading her,but she refused to tell me anything.

" Presh, come over here, I want to introduce you to someone" Favour said dragging me along with her. I brushed off the thought I have and went along with her.

" Aunt Stephanie" favour greeted.

" Hi favour,how are you doing?" The lady Stephanie greeted.

" Am good, aunt, this is my friend, precious and presh this is my aunt, the doctor I have been telling you about". She said introducing us.

" Hi my dear,you can call me Stephanie,no need to be so formal" she suggested.

" Ok"I responded.

" Hi presh" I turned my back and saw Goodness.my course mate. Standing a few distance from me.

" Hi goodness"I greeted.

" Have you seen David?" She asked.

" No I haven't, I just arrived". I answered.

" Ok,am going to look for him" she said as she left to look for my cousin,she had a crush on Dave, since childhood.

"Favour,where is Micheal?, I haven't seen him"I asked favour.

" Alright, let me show you to our table?" She said as she excused herself and showed me to our table.

Halfway to our table, I felt the presence of my mate. I don't know where he is , I was looking around as favour is dragging me to our table. I didn't dare try sniffing in his scent because theirs alot of werewolves here and I might snif in their scent without dictating my mates scent.

That's when favour stopped at our table and Micheal immediately stood up and couldn't take his eyes off me, I looked at him and I knew that he can't be my mate, because I have seen him since I turned eighteen and he is also my childhood friend, am supposed to sence him as my mate since I turned eighteen but no,so I know that's not him, but where is this feeling coming from?. I asked myself.

He was standing there looking at me not knowing what to say.

" Hey Micheal are you going to stand up there and be looking at presh like that?, Can't you say anything?. Donald asked him and that's when he came back to his sences .

" Wow,presh you look stunning" he managed to say still looking at me.

" Thanks Michael". ' how am I supposed to find out if he's my mate or not?' I thought.

" Can I at least get a hug?" he asked. 

'That it, I will hug him and that's how I will know if he's my mate or because if I hug him,I will feel a sensation in my heart and I won't if he's not' I thought and moved towards him and hugged him.

I didn't feel anything,which means that he's not my mate.' then who is it's' I thought.

" You look very beautiful this evening,wear more of dresses from now onwards and stop covering your beauty" he said still hugging me.

" Alright Michael"I answered I stepping back and him still holding my waist to drag out a chair for me. 

That's when we heard a loud roar that made all the werewolves go down on their knees except me, I was surprised that the roar didn't make my wolf to submit because it's an Alpha's roar,that's when I turned my back and faced the stage,that's when I saw where the growl was coming from. It was the alpha's son. My mate.

There was anger in this eyes.

" Mate,mate,my mate". My wolf jumped in joy.

Now I see the reason why my wolf was happy since she senced the atmosphere and why the roar didn't compel me to bow down. He strode towards me in large,took my hand and left the atmosphere everyone was still kneeling down and quiet with their heads facing the ground. He dragged me to the bush where no one is, I can't even stop myself from following him, because I was very surprised that I can't even say what's going on and what's happening to me.

My wolf was just jumping around happily.
