Chapter 5 Alpha Kelvin's POV

2024-10-29 19:42:56She let out a pleasant purr,which pleased my wolf to the extreme,he seems to be taking his time to explore her body.
" Mayor,if you mark her without her permission,did you believe me that she's going to hate you for life"I asked him drawing his attention. And what I said made him to rethink and he stopped abruptly.
" Ok fine, I accept" he agreed.
" But I want to stay with her like this for a while and take in all her scent" He said as he held her in his arms and hugged her for a while.
," Fine,it's ok"I answered growing inpatient.
"Alright". He said as he moved backward and gave the control back to me, I looked at her face that's when I saw the reason why my wolf didn't want to give the control back to me.
Standing before me is the most beautiful being I have ever seen, even more beautiful than Patricia,but still I don't want a mate. Her eyes as bright and blue as the sea seems to be looking directly into my soul,her lips as red as plum and her scent is the scent of a blooming red rose flower mixed with strawberry. I almost lost my cool.
" Beautiful, isn't she?". My wolf asked with a hidden smirk in his lips, I just want to wipe that smirk off his lips but I can't deny that fact.
"Yes, very beautiful". I answered my wolf. She cutted the eye contact and I came back to my senses.
" Errm...." That's when I found out that I don't know what to say.
" Please make sure she didn't hate me" my wolf pleaded.
" Oh please ......., I don't have time for that, it's not like the fault is from you or me, she's the one flirting with a guy"I replied.
" What were you thinking" I asked getting angry again.she looked at me confused.
" Why were you flirting with a guy and also hugging him". I asked getting angry because of her silence.
" Are you dumb can't you say anything"I asked getting more angry because she seems to be ignoring me. Am going to not only not make her my mate but also torture her. There is no insult bigger than being snubbed. She was just looking at me as if am a beast with two heads. She didn't say anything and by the look in her face I can see that she is getting angry. But why is she getting angry it's not like am the one that was flirting with a guy.
" Now let me make this clear to you, I don't want a mate and secondly, am not going to reject you.
" And why is that?" She asked. Just by the sound of her voice, I wanted to take back every single word I said to her.
" Because I don't want to be weak, being with a mate will make you weak and rejecting or her dieing is the worst and I don't want that" I explained looking into her eyes. All I could see is sadness, disappointment and rejection. All I want to do was to take her into my arms and take all her sorrows away but by doing that am giving in to the mate bound and if am fully attached to her I can't go back..
My wolf is restless and doesn't want to lose his mate and he was purring in pain.
Presh's POV
After taking me further away from the gathering,he let my hand go and that's when I looked into his eyes and found out that it was his wolf that was controlling him die to the color of his eyes. It is the color of every wolf when they get angry..
After confirming that it was his wolf and not him I took a step back.because I don't know who his anger is directed to,and as I took a step back he took a step forward, closing the distance, I took and step back and he closed the distance. Untill he corned me in a tree and bent over my neck. I took in his scent which is the scent of chocolate icing. He kissed my neck and a purr escaped my lip.
He did that for a few minutes and stepped back, that's when he came back to his normal self. And i took my time to explore him.
He has a wavy green hair that matched the color of his eyes. His abs is the one any woman could kill for, even with his clothes on. I was drolling over him. And I looked away not to loose control over my body.
" Errm.... " He said coming back to his senses.
" Please hug him please" my wolf said almost getting wet.
" Please stay quiet it's not like you know what he's thinking,he might even reject us"I answered.
"Oh please, it's our mate that we are talking about here,our mate can never reject us". She fired.
" Are you trying to tell me that other werewolves that rejected their soulmate that, that is not their mate?". I asked bringing her back to reality.
" Why are you flirting with a guy and also hugging him". He asked in anger. I didn't say anything.
" Are you dumb can't you say anything?" He asked again. Not that I don't want to answer him but I don't know how to tell him that,it was a friendly hug and am not flirting with him and second I was trying to know if he's my mate.
" Now let me make this clear to you, I don't want a mate and secondly am not rejecting you" he said as by wolf purred in pain.
" And why is that?" I asked.
" Because I don't want to be weak, being with a mate will make me weak, and rejecting or her dieing is the worst and I don't want that". He explained.
I don't blame him because when ones mate die they either lose their mind and not associate with the outside world or they die following their mate. I left him their and went back to the gathering and went to our table.
" Favour,where is Donald" I asked.
" Presh are you alright?, What's going on?, What happened?". She asked getting restless.
" Presh please tell us what happened" Michael asked concerned, standing right behind me.
" I just want to go home"I told them leaving the table.
" But the ceremony is not over yet" favour said.
" Please are you taking me home or not" I asked impatient and no one in particular.
" I will take you home" Michael volunteered.
He stood up, finished the cup of wine in his glass and led me towards his car.
" I will go and tell Donald and flourish that we are going home,so as not to get them worried" favour said as she left in the opposite direction.
I got into Michael's car and after some minutes favour came back and joined us as we drove off and headed home.

I woke up by five thirty the next morning feeling refreshed. I stood up from my bed went straight to the bathroom and splashed some water on my face and washed my face. I parked my hair into a ponytail and wearmy sport clothes, and shoes and left the house for some run. It's either I train at the pack training ground, run in the woods in my wolf form or go for a jog. And now am going for a jog. I left the house and went for jogging. Three hours later,I came back at getting to the door, I felt the presence of my mate. I don't know how,but I felt it. I took my mind off it as I dont believe that he will be here. "Aunt, am home"I said as I opened the door and came in . Immediately I came into the room and looked at the sitting room, the first eyes that I met was Alpha Kelvin's. My mate. 'Mate,mate' lala, my wolf said as she stood up. She have been rather quiet since yesterday night,after meeting her mate.

I was woked up by a knock at my door I walk to the door and opened it and some David standing at the door."Man, you are just waking up? We got to school but I don't see myself attending classes today,as I walk to my locker with Mike right behind me, I met flourish and favour waiting for me. Immediately I enter the Pack house, I went straight to my room and lock the door. I don't know what to do, I threw my glass flower vase on the floor but it didn't disperse my anger and frustration. I woke up the next morning energized. I dressed up and went downstairs but my aunt and uncle is not up yet. I opened the door and went towards the woods for a run. At the entrance of the woods.
