Chapter 86: The Demon

*THIRD PERSON POV*

There was a sudden frigid stillness in the air that would have been perceived by anyone awake at this hour.

A shadow loomed in the darkness of the room eating away at the warmth and homeliness that had been prevalent inside. This sudden change in the atmosphere although palpable was unnoticed by the occupants of the room who lay in their bed, cozily sleeping together.

“So, she finally decided to greet my presence,” the shadow peering down at them mused to itself as it swiftly moved across the room and towards the open window through which the Moonlight was falling in.

“Did you realize the strength I have been gaining over you?” he mocked the silver moon that stayed high and mighty in the blanket of stars unwavering by these comments of this monstrous figure.

Although he said this he knew he wasn’t yet strong enough for till the moon shone in the sky no one would ever acknowledge him.

“This is definitely not fair,” he muttered as if talking to a close acquaintance, “
